(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Freiburg - Heidenheim

Tricky player, street fighter, difficult to stop, still on the ball, finds Gregorich with a shot which was not that far away. In that centre-back position basically, not something he's been used to. Oh, there's no problems there for Ataboulou. Nevertheless, a run by Clears before Darwin could get there. That's a giveaway. The chance here for if they can use their numerical advantage, but oh dear. Well, Mikhail Gregorich has Maximilian Eggestein on his 250th Bundesliga game today, by the way, in the number eight. And there's a chance, and it's in. It is a glorious diving header from Ritzoudan. It's 1-0 Freiburg. It's Christian Streich who is leading on his last game in charge. He scored against Freiburg in the reverse fixture too. This is a glorious chance, and they've got one back. And it's a goal from Kevin Zese. Well, Freiburg allowed Heidenheim to find that room and the space. Postman, the rebound's been saved as well. An old commotion inside. This is the new boy, Jordi Makenga. He came from the reserves. He's been here since 2021 as a young man. Oh, no. Crossbar denies Gregorich. Doan on his right was Eggestein. Kubler. Good idea. Good pass too. This is Ritzoudan. Of course, the crowd wants something, but the referee was close to that. Salah with a ball. Salah with a shot. No advice yet. Luka Hörler. More striking power. Gregorich coming off for him. Doan. And a flick towards goal. And that's the first touch for Luka Hörler. Chips it in. And Doan blocks. He's still alive and flash past the post by Yannick Geidl. That is the final whistle. And it's not a victory for SC Freiburg. And it's not a victory for Christian Streich on his last day at this ground.
