(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Bayern München - Wolfsburg

He's been known for quite some time that he would leave at the end of the season. And the space is opened up here. And the shot is in off the post. And what a start this is. Lovros Van Areck with his first ever Bayern goal on his first ever Bayern Bundesliga start. And despite that disappointment in Madrid, it is the perfect start for Bayern München. First Bundesliga start, first Bundesliga goal for the teenager Lovros Van Areck. The youngest ever scorer in Bayern's history is Brianne. Nice cross. Only halfway. Goretzka! Well, they're enjoying themselves here. And this is the perfect response for what was a crushing evening in Madrid. He's right here. He's picked his head up. He's trying to get the back stick. The ball's not out of play. Great cross in. And it's Miller using his football brain, just laying it off to Goretzka. Putting in his pass so he can hit it first time. Doesn't need to take a second touch. That's the quality of Thomas Miller. Knows where the players are on the pitch. Fantastic goal, Goretzka. It'll be interesting to see if they can go undefeated throughout the whole season. That'll be remarkable. In a game here, Bayern. It's another great opportunity. Muller involved again. Brianne! What a moment for him. It's been a slow start to his Bayern career, but that's got to feel good. A first Bundesliga goal. Well, they are going to check it. They check all goals, of course. Was this offside against Thomas Miller? It's going to be tight. What a layoff there. Fantastic. Could have just placed it in. And we see everything on the pitch. I would not want to be in that dressing room at halftime, I have to say. Well, the goal is ruled out for offside. So it is at least a partial reprieve. I just get the feeling they're just going through the motions here. And that will infuriate Harsen Hüttl, won't it? Because if we know anything about him, we know he doesn't accept that kind of thing as the shot is driven goalwards by Wimmer. Whether that's vocally or positionally or tactically, but it needs something to happen at halftime. Because it is Bayern who are in command. Lovros Vonorek, the 19-year-old, on his first Bundesliga start. Coaches remember this kind of thing. Davies, who's looking to slide that through for Zvonarek, who's already got one goal today. And the curling effort from Brianne, straight into the gloves of Gunn-Castells, who's about to be caught. It's Kimmich. Not this time. Too much on it. Oh, it's a good distance. Lacroix. He's carried on the run, Maxence Lacroix. He's got a brilliant goal against Freiburg recently. And the shot from Thiago Tomáš goes wide. Bayern go back to second place after a routine win against Wolfsburg. Thomas Tuchel's final home game as Bayern coach ends in victory.
