Do you want to know where and what to eat in Prague?
Then this video is just for you!
In this video we'll show you all the food you need to eat.
Traditional food, but also some hip and happening trendy places
where you can get some really awesome quality food as well.
Of course you want to try some traditional food,
some local food here in Prague.
So we went to Malostranská byseda in Old Town
and they serve pork knuckle which I've been dying to try.
It has been on my list since we knew we were going to Prague.
Tim tried the pickled camembert which is also a very local dish.
So if you're here, give it a try.
And you can try out this restaurant,
but they serve it in many other restaurants around the city as well.
We are Stuffer and we sell food in America all over the world.
And if you don't want to miss that, please subscribe to our channel.
Another great traditional Czech food tip
is the restaurant called U Klaubiko right behind me.
It's only 200 meters straight on from the Carlsbridge into Old Town.
There they serve a lot of traditional dishes.
And today I had the braised beef with cream sauce
and Bohemian dumplings, Bohemian bread dumplings.
If I pronounce it correctly, it's svíčková na smetána.
Probably butchering the whole word.
But I will have a link underneath in the description box
so you can check it out.
But the flavors were so good.
It was really creamy, the sauce was really sweet.
I was surprised by the sweetness of the sauce
and the meat and the dumplings together.
It was really special.
I really felt like I was eating something traditional,
which I always love, exploring new food when we travel.
So I had the traditional fried cheese with cranberry sauce
and tartar sauce, which is also a special Czech sauce
with mayonnaise and herbs and everything.
It's super amazing.
The cheese was awesome.
I loved it.
It was so good, so creamy, perfect taste, perfect crunch.
And the sauce...
Just like Dennis' dish, the fried cheese is also very traditional
and you can get it everywhere.
So be on the lookout and have a little fried cheese.
Of course, when you are in Prague,
you have to try the traditional chimney cake.
It's the cinnamon cake that is really nice.
You can get it everywhere in the city, so no panic
because they sell it everywhere.
I have a vanilla drink with vanilla cream, strawberries.
I love the cinnamon cake.
It is so good.
I don't even need the filling.
The filling is really nice,
but just give me that little cookie kind of cake.
But I have to say, the vanilla cream is really nice in it.
Something traditional is soup out of a sourdough bread.
Tim's having the potato soup, he'll show you.
I'm having the Czech goulash.
I know goulash is not necessarily Czech,
but they have a Czech version.
But in this case, it looks really good
with the sourdough bread.
And I love goulash.
I love it.
There's no specific restaurant you can have this soup in a bun
everywhere in Prague, so just have a look around
and find a nice restaurant.
So I'm having the traditional Czech potato soup
in a sourdough bread.
It's a distinct flavour, but I don't know what it is.
It's good, it has a nice fresh bar flavour to it.
And if you're the adventurous type,
then try bishirovka,
the traditional herbal liquor
that you can have after dinner.
It's apparently medicinal.
And here in the restaurant,
they heat it up for an even more special experience.
And you get a huge glass.
I normally don't drink liquor, but we'll try it.
The smell alone...
You can smell the alcohol.
It's really nice that it's warm.
It's very strong, so it burns your nose.
It is very herbally, I have to say that.
It's very strong.
It's nice, but I don't think this is for me
because I don't drink alcohol that much.
But I'll have another go.
I do want to go up the tower after this,
so hopefully I'll not be too wobbly.
The aftertaste is a little bit too alcoholic for me.
But for the rest...
Cheers!
In Newtown, in the city centre,
you can find knedl.
They have the traditional potato dumplings here,
but they have so many different flavours and variations.
You can have savoury and sweet.
We went for the pistachio with raspberry filling.
It looks so good.
It just oozes out when you open it up.
I can't wait to try this.
This is something that is traditionally Czech,
but then with a modern twist on it.
It's very nice because it's not super sweet.
The potato dumpling makes it very...
How do you say it?
I don't know. I would say grounded,
because it's not sweetened.
But then the raspberries give it a nice sour, soury twist.
And it's a bit warm as well.
Very interesting. You definitely have to go here and try this out.
The dumpling itself is quite gooey.
It's really weird, because I was expecting it to be very sweet,
but it's not sweet at all.
If you want to have amazing Mexican food in Prague,
go to Ale Briejes, if I pronounced it correctly.
They have amazing food.
I had amazing enchiladas with mole,
that amazing spicy chocolate sauce.
My God, that was so good.
And Dennis had tacos with, I think, pineapple?
It's called tacos pastor or something.
And we had churros with banana and cinnamon.
It was so good.
For drinks, we had that amazing milky rice drink with cinnamon,
which is called horchata.
If you've never had it, you need to go for it.
And Dennis, of course, needed to have a margarita.
If you're looking for dessert,
then go to Gelatology for great ice cream.
And you can even sit on swings in the back of the restaurant.
I'm having Aperol ice cream.
Oh, you can really taste the alcohol in it as well.
I really like it.
It really has the sweetness and the bitterness of the Aperol.
I'm also having the Smetana, which is cream.
The flavors are really, I don't know, really good.
And the ice is really smooth as well.
If you're looking for an awesome breakfast or lunch,
or just want to have a cup of tea with a nice pastry,
go to Smetana Q, which is at the riverfront.
It is so good.
We had the full breakfast, Smetana Q breakfast,
with eggs benedict, with avocado toast,
with a waffle with strawberry.
Everything was so, so good.
It's the first time that we ever had that,
which is with beetroot and ginger.
And, oh, well, I love a chai latte.
So we had the perfect breakfast.
I'm super full.
I have to say, be prepared if you take the full breakfast.
It is a lot.
At least now we have enough food in our stomachs
to endure another day of exploring Prague.
So if you know us by now, you know that we love to explore
supermarkets when we are abroad.
And this time was no exception.
So we went to a Czech supermarket for the first time
and we found amazing stuff for breakfast.
We have, like, really nice baked goods.
And we have a really special...
Yeah, we thought it was nougat yogurt,
but I just used the translating app
and it says it's creamy sour cream with nougat taste.
So I'm very excited to try this.
I've never heard of that before.
So let's give it a go.
It's nougat. It's really like cream.
Yeah, that's really strange.
But it's nice.
It goes really well together,
because it's really, like, as it said on the package,
it's really creamy,
but there's still a little bit of sourness to it.
I really enjoyed it.
I'm really surprised by it.
If you want to have a drink
and you want to find a hidden gem here in Prague,
then go to Super Tram Coffee.
It is not easy to find,
so you'll have to type it in on Google Maps,
because on the outside you won't see that there's a café there,
because it's inside in a courtyard
and it's very hip and trendy.
I'm having a salty homemade lemonade,
and I can really see that they made it from scratch
with lemons and everything.
And a salty version, I've never had it,
so here I go.
Oh, that's really weird,
because it's really salty,
but also lemony.
Not my favorite, I have to say.
Can't be a hit everywhere, right?
But on the other hand,
I also have a little bit of honey ice cream,
that they sell here,
so hopefully that will make up for the salty lemonade.
That's a shame.
I love lemonade,
but the salty one, not for me.
The ice cream, however,
really good.
I'm going to try a sip of Tim's lemonade,
because he has the fermented lemonade.
Also not my cup of tea.
Okay, so maybe not go for the lemonade here.
If you love fermented things,
then go for the fermented one.
It's just my opinion.
But check it out,
because the atmosphere here,
and they have nice coffee,
they have ice cream,
they have cake.
It is a nice place.
Just not the lemonade, for me.
Of course you can have traditional food
in Prague everywhere you want,
but sometimes you just crave a good Italian pizza.
Or in our case,
a really nice topped focaccia.
We went to Laboratorio de la Pizza.
It is at the old part of town.
Great quality, great choices,
and fairly priced.
So we have one more great breakfast tip for you.
Café Bella Vida.
It has a view over the Coles Bridge.
You sit right there.
It is amazing,
but their French toast looks so good.
It has cream cheese in it.
It has fresh fruit.
I'm going to try it.
I love French toast,
but this is so good.
The cream cheese is really nice in it as well.
I've never had it with cream cheese.
And it's on brioche bread,
which I love.
It's that French cakey bread.
Super nice.
And also,
check out their Maracuja homemade lemonade.
This is our last breakfast here in Prague.
We had such amazing food here.
It was really nice to try the traditional stuff,
like the braised beef that I tried,
like the fried cheese that Tim had,
the pickled camembert.
We had so much traditional stuff,
but we also showed you some trendy stuff.
So I'm hoping that you had a great time watching this video
and showing that you can note down
some of the spots that we went to
or some of the food that we had.
So when you visit Prague,
you can try this as well,
because it will definitely blow you away.
Like this French toast,
I'm going to try here.
I'm going to try it,
but I'm going to enjoy this
with this view
in the sun.
This is holiday to its best, right?
Thanks for watching.

when they visit.
Thank you so much.
Tim, you should put the camera away
and dive into this French toast.
This is so good.
