Jannik Sinner's Dives; Carlos Alcaraz Reactions & More! | Top 20 Shots June 2024

What a staggering point and beautifully finished by McDonald. The back fence, I've no idea. It's a terrific hold for Mackenzie McDonald. That was a beautifully judged drop shot. How did he get this back in court? To finish it off, outstanding from Jean. He was just about keeping the ball away from Medvedev. Well, well, well, check that out. It's part of his game, isn't it? And that's the best of the lot so far. We're giving him high marks for that technique, you know, even get the racket out the way, no entry risk. Oh, what a point. Affection. Of his own medicine here. Brings him in with a drop shot. This isn't easy, but just push along, flicks it down the line. Oh, yes. Seem to have no business. And some Mercedes magic has given him a couple of match points. Oh, there's point of the tournament so far. Superb from Berrettini. What a pick up it was right off the shoelaces. And I really have seen. Oh, that's inspired. Vukic decided to put the pedal to the metal and actually then it swung back towards Nishioka. He thought. Nielsen, love of 15. Oh, nicely done. He's had to be very close to the net. So he's right for the lob. And not the first time we've seen it. And another really brilliantly executed one. Point. One of the points of the week. Incredible tennis. What a get this is for Tommy Paul. And the next one, but somehow the only shot he could come up with went straight back to Korda. Kidding me. Paul with other ideas. Incredible. What I was marveling at the pickup from Draper, but actually that was surpassed by that. Oh, that's ridiculous. It's just a little shimmy, wasn't it? Before he set off to his right. Well, how does he do it? Draper has rifled that forehand and still Alcaraz. First of all, anticipates, then it's the speed, then it's the hand skills to just. Oh, stop it. No wonder he raises his arm. What instincts and what technique. That deserves a standing ovation. One of the shots of the year the other day to one of the points of the year. Outstanding the role that he's still in position to play this. Look at that. Unbelievable from Sinner. Oh, he's taken it to the next level this time, hasn't he? Last time it was the dive and the roll finish. But now. He looked like he'd got himself in all sorts of a pickle here. Goes up and over him. He's right in front of it. Totally in the wrong place. He wasn't even looking. He was looking at the back of the court. He was looking at the ball. How's he done that? Oh, I need to say this. Goodness me. That is unreal. From the new world number one. That's easily one of the shots of the season. Yannick Sinner. I need to say this again. Oh, my goodness. Unbelievable. That pick up in the first place. And then look, he's going the wrong direction completely. He's two steps behind. Sinner fourth.
