Hello, welcome back to the House of Valentina fashion channel. I have got such a fun video to share with you guys today. I have just finished trying on all these beautiful clothes. I've got outfit ideas for you. I've got tips and tricks. Today, we're gonna be talking about my one hack, my one tip, the one thing that I always do when I really want to elevate an outfit, and that is to use silk. I live in silk. Anybody who knows me, it's like my go-to material. It's just, it immediately elevates whatever look you've got on. It pairs so beautifully, whether you're going to be running errands or you're going out to dinner or you're going to work, there's no situation, or going to bed. There's just no situation in which you will not want to be wearing silk. At least that's how I feel about it. I just love it, and I feel like it can just so easily upgrade the look of an outfit, and it's just like that magic little wand. You just wave it over, add a little silk, and suddenly every outfit just looks and feels like a million bucks. So, I cannot wait to jump in today's video. Let's jump into the outfits today because I love to be able to do some outfit planning. I've been doing so much outfit planning lately, and one of my go-to materials whenever I'm planning an outfit is definitely silk. I love how you can pair it up so many different ways. I love the fact that, like today, I'm wearing this LilySilk camisole that I've owned for so long, I can't remember how long I've had it. It's so pretty the way you can style it up with these beautiful trousers. I think they look absolutely gorgeous. You can also add on a blazer over this. You could also throw a sweater over it as well. I wear these camisoles with shorts. I wear them with leather. I wear them with wool. They are incredible with these silk pants. I mean, these, you feel like you're wearing your PJs all day long. I mean, that's why I just absolutely love it. So these trousers are absolutely stunning with the little pleating on them. They're really flattering. Then I've also got this styled up with this stunning blazer that I've also owned for quite some time from LilySilk. They have all different types of products, everything from blazers to camisoles, trousers, PJs. They kind of have it all, but I mix and match a lot of their products, and then I also mix and match them with everything in my wardrobe. So it's just amazing how you can really build out your wardrobe and have these outfits that are just breathtaking. Next up today, I have this absolutely stunning silk dress. Talk about feeling like you're wearing your nightgown all day. It is like torture trying to take off each of these outfits, because each one, I'm like, oh, it feels so good. I just want to stay in it the rest of the day. This is what this dress is going to feel like. You're going to genuinely feel like you're wearing a nightgown all day. It is just so luxurious on. I think the color, it's this like champagne kind of taupe color. It is absolutely gorgeous. I love the little detail on the shoulder and the pockets on it. It does come with its own belt if you want to belt it with its own belt. It's nice and long, and what I love is that you can also choose whether you want to keep all these buttoned, or you can also unbutton the top, unbutton a few at the bottom, and create a little bit more of a sensual look rather than a classic look. So for this piece today, I've got it styled up two different ways because I wanted to show you how you can wear this gorgeous dress whether the weather is warmer and you want to throw on a sandal. That's a really easy look. I chose to actually belt it. I've got my YSL belt with me today. I chose to add on my YSL belt because I love this black crock on it, and I think that when you tie that into the waist, it just gives it a little bit of an accent and a little bit of kind of a jarring effect against this beautiful softness of this material. I like the fact that it just gives you a little bit of edginess because you've got a little bit of that sort of, that crock and a little bit of the gold, and I think that that just looks amazing paired with something so soft and billowy, but you could definitely also just keep it with the belt that it came with as well, but you'll be seeing, you'll be seeing that belt a bunch throughout today's video. You could also go with the belt that LilySilk sells. They've got this gorgeous one. I've got it in white on these trousers. Again, you're gonna see all of these paired up throughout today's video, but I decided to pair this up with a little pair of heeled sandals. These are the ones I have from Aquazura. I love how this just adds a lot of structure against something that's so billowy and soft, and so you can see how this is a really easy way to create a gorgeous, stunning outfit, whether you're running out to coffee, if you're gonna be going to work, and you're gonna be in an office. As the weather gets cold, you could also add in a little knee-high boot. That way you can wear your dress for all seasons. That's what I love about these pieces is that they're perfect, and you just, they're staple pieces that literally they stay in your wardrobe for every single season, and they never leave it. That's why I love these pieces. So these are a little pair of black croc. I love these with a little bit of a heel on them. I'll leave all the links for these items down below in the show notes. I will say one thing I do love are these little inserts. I actually got those off of Amazon, and I like how modern they are and how they keep your knee-high boots, you know, keep the shape of them. So I'll add the link for that as well. But I do think that that silk shirt dress looks amazing paired up with a pair of heels, and you could go with the Prada bag, or like, I think it's really fun to do tone on tone. All right, next up I have this gorgeous, stunning pair of trousers. When I put these on, I could not stop smiling. I love this sort of bronzy brown coffee color. It is just beautiful, absolutely beautiful. The color, the cut, the pleatings on them. This is such an easy way to add silk to your wardrobe. So I definitely recommend going with a pair like these that are the white, or with these with a little bit of that sort of coppery brown color. They're really easy to wear, and they're really easy to pair up. So like I said, here you could add on a camisole. You could also throw on a cotton tank with these. You could throw on a turtleneck. There's so many different ways to be able to style up a beautiful pair of trousers like this. I just adore them. Oh, when I pulled this out, I was like, yes, yes! This blouse is so beautiful. So having a beautiful, wow, look at the ruffled detail on this, oh, and it's not just there, it's also on the sleeve. Yeah, so when you have a silk blouse like this, you're gonna be able to pair it up a million different ways. It's just, again, just an easy piece that you can just throw on. It goes perfectly with the trousers. I think that you could easily pair it up with a little brown accents, go for the copper. I like the sort of tone-on-tone look with this. It looks so beautiful, and it's so easy. But this blouse, oh my goodness. The ways in which I pair up a blouse like this is endless. I'll put it on with a pair of leather shorts. I'll put it with jeans. It's just endless possibilities, and that's what I love is that this is why these pieces are such perfect investment pieces because they're so affordable, but you're really just going to get years and years of use and years and years of outfits out of them. I just love it. I love to add a little bit of leather, so I've added in the little leather sandal. These are a pair by Jimmy Choo. I've also got the little bag by APC. I just thought that this little boxiness just really plays nicely against the ruffle. When something's really billowy and flowy, I like to add something that's got a really good structure to it. Chef's kiss. Feels like, literally, like the most amazing thing ever, and you're just gonna be so comfy all day long. Yeah, this is why I love, this is like, I feel like this is like, I need to talk quietly, and not share this, because it's like, this is the best kept secret. That's why it's my go-to. I just love it. Another beautiful way to style up these gorgeous white trousers is to add a blouse. So you can do silk on silk. I just love silk on silk. I mean, clearly, there's lots of different ways to do it, whether it's gonna be a camisole. I've got some more pieces I'll show you as well, but you could do it with a camisole. You could do it with blouses. You could go for something more ruffly like the last one, or you can go for a blouse that's a little bit more structured like this. Another incredible way to wear your silk is to pair it with either wool or silk. This sweater, I could not stop smiling when I was wearing it. I was just like, oh my gosh. It just feels so good. These are made with wool and they're lined with silk. I think it's so much fun to take your silk products through all different seasons. So as the weather does start to cool off, think about pairing your silk with wool pants as well, because you can take all of your silk blouses and put them with wool trousers. I think that these are absolutely stunning. The pattern in them is just absolutely gorgeous. Look at the pattern in them. They're so beautiful. These little trousers are perfect. They've got the pockets. They've got an elasticated back that makes them super comfy. You can put the belt on them if you would like as well to add a little extra detail. These look amazing paired up with a boot. They look amazing paired up with a sandal. You can add in lots of different accent colors here. You can add in a little bit of black. You can add in a little bit of the brown. You could add in a little bit of taupe in with this. So you can see these trousers can take you a long way. And I was just blown away. The quality on them and the cut and the fit is just incredible. Incredible. I love it. Oh my goodness, you guys. As if those trousers would not be perfect for fall and winter, and to be able to pair them up with sweaters and lots of different colored shirts. There's so many options with, oh, that, with this jacket. Oh my gosh. But if you are in a transitional weather situation or it's gonna, you know, it's gonna be a little bit warmer outside that day, why not pair it up with cashmere and silk in the form of a mock neck sleeveless ribbed top? Guys, the color of this is incredible. The feel of it is insane. Insane. So you could also add a sleeveless top. Oh, I'm dying to wear this outfit now. This with the white pants. There's so many different ways to wear your silk. It's just, the options are just endless. And each one of these mixes and matches perfectly with everything you've got in your wardrobe. This will be great with linen, be amazing with leather, with jeans. That's what I love about these pieces is that I'm gonna stop stroking it eventually. I can't help it, okay? It's just amazing and I love it. So yeah, these are incredible ways to wear your silk and you are just gonna, you're just gonna love it. You're just gonna feel so good. And I just feel so pampered when I'm wearing these different pieces. And I think that it just affects your mood so much. And I also don't overheat in them and I don't get really cold. So I just feel like it really helps you regulate your body temperature. And I appreciate the fact that it's so good for my skin and I really see a difference. So yeah, I love it. This is amazing paired up with a little taupe bag. I will leave a link for this one because I think that that is such an amazing color match there. This is a bag by a company called D'Amelie and let me set this down. This has got this gorgeous little chain that you can throw it right onto your arm. I mean, this goes with what I'm wearing now. I love it. So I will leave this bag linked up for you as well. I've got this pair of shoes that I have owned for a few years. I will try to link up a close version to these. They're just a little taupe pair of high-heeled sandals. But again, you could just as easily add the black. You could add in brown. Lots of different ways to be able to mix up all of these incredible pieces. This would not be a, this could not be a video about silk and elevating your life without a pair of silk pajamas. I have several pairs of lily silk pajamas in my wardrobe. I sleep so well in them. I just, I don't know. I'm never hot or cold when I'm wearing my silk pajamas. There's something about it. The way that your skin interacts with silk is just absolute perfection. It feels so sumptuous and heavenly and I love the cut on this pair of pajamas. I like the fact that they've got a little bit more of an oversized look. I ordered all of these in my regular size. I think I may could have gone down a size if I wanted them to be a little bit more fitted. They aren't quite long, so you can see in the cutaways that I have them pulled up extremely high. And you can always have them hemmed as well, but I won't have these hemmed. They're not so long that I have to do that. But I do like the fact that they also have, bah, bah, bah, they have pockets. I love when my pajamas have pockets because I have kids and they're always out at night and so I always have my phone on me because in case they call, I'm gonna always have my phone on. So I like to be able to walk around and have my phone in my pocket. One final thing that I will say is that I will actually pair the pajama tops out of my sets with my regular clothes. I do that all the time because the LilySilk has a bunch of options. Like, check them out. You could easily pair this little top up with the little trousers that I'm wearing. You could, the camisole sets that they have, I do that all the time. I was like, this may have actually been from a set. I was like, oh, I'm not 100% sure.
