Here, I'm demonstrating using my No. 2 Wooden Rake to do a nice perfect curve on the round
mug.
Maybe cut it open to show you the inside of this mug.
What I did was using this No. 2 Wooden Rake on the inside and then I'm pushing this
right against it. So you see that the inside of this mug after I'm using the Rake outside
to push it against it so you will have a nice perfect round shape here.
So that is how I was using my No. 2 Wooden Rake for the perfect curve on the round mug.
So this is one other way to open up the hole. It looks like you are making a bowl but
after you take care of the inner part you close it. You just cover and close it.
Because when you open it wider it's easier for you to
push the bottom, push the inner part to make a curve.
Try to squeeze the corner because I'm going to trim the base more so it doesn't need to be
very wide. Push this in and I have more clay here and I can move the clay up.
And then I'm using this Rake on the inside part.
Okay so that is how I draw the round mug using my No. 2 Wooden Rake to get a nice curve here.
