We are now approached by a Vietnamese boat.
They came and get close to us and now offer coffee, pasta, cigarette.
Good morning everyone. Welcome back to the channel and welcome to the beautiful
The rain has just stopped so I will start riding very soon.
And I am very close to the Vietnam border.
The direct distance to the border is only 25 kilometers.
And today I am going to a place where it's just on the border.
It's called De Tien Pooboo and in Vietnam it's called Ban Yue Pooboo.
It's the largest cross-country waterfall in Asia.
Loai Trang is pretty small. It's a very small village but there are a lot of hotels.
People come here for the beautiful landscape.
And then they can also take a raft, bamboo raft ride.
There is a saying that is Guangxi Chuchu is Guilin which is exactly like that.
Not only in Yangshuo in Guilin, this castle landscape,
these beautiful rivers, it's everywhere, almost everywhere in Guangxi.
They speak in a language that sounds like Vietnamese to me.
But I know it's not Vietnamese. It's two different languages.
Maybe it's Cantonese or maybe it's strong language. I am not so sure.
Now firstly I need to tank up because my gas is running low.
Now we are going to De Tien Pooboo. I think it's about 70 kilometers.
You can go through Tongling.
Tongling, right?
Tongling.
Ah, Tongling Canyon.
Yes.
Ah, okay.
There should be a lot of water now.
Right? Then we can see the waterfall.
Yes.
And if you go down from Tongling, it's a straight road.
It's so cute here.
Hehe, it's like a urinal.
There is papaya tree.
And there is some fire. I can stay here to dry myself.
The rain is so heavy. I really can't move.
So while waiting, I got my lunch.
This time it's hu vi xin xiao. So it's pepper, green pepper cooked with soya bean paste.
That waterfall over there is just so breathtaking.
And that bridge is too.
Although rainy day is not good for riding.
But landscape-wise, it's just unparalleled.
Which one do you want?
Do you want?
Yes.
What do you want to say?
Do you want to ride?
Yes.
Do you want to ride?
Yes.
Do you want to ride?
I don't understand.
Do you want to ride?
It's raining now.
I don't understand.
Do you want to ride?
Yes.
Where are you from?
We are from here.
Oh, you are from here.
Thank you.
I bought one of this. This is a banana.
These are made very soft inside.
Oh, it's a green rice cake, a herbal cake.
I'll keep it that for later.
I'm on the road again.
It's only 27 kilometers.
I have to leave the market because I'm so addicted.
I can spend 1-2 hours in it.
But today's priority is to visit the Thien Phong Bua.
This waterfall is just on the border.
So it means Vietnam is on the other side of the river.
This is Chia Bei, the mark of China.
Yesterday I was talking to a lady in a shop.
She lives on the border and she told me that
before Covid, going to Vietnam was quite relaxed.
She can simply take a boat ride to the other side,
go to the market and go shopping, meet friends in Vietnam.
But since Covid, new fences were built.
Cross-border is more restrictive.
Now she needs a special to meet.
And she has to go to a certain port to go to Vietnam.
Saigon, Saigon, Vietnam.
There is a Vietnamese market.
It's funny, I can already see it from here.
So that's the Vietnamese side.
That's also the entrance to the same scenic zones
but from the Vietnam side.
And it's Vietnamese written there.
The borderline, Vietnam, China.
It's a big waterfall.
The draft to write.
We are exactly on the borderline.
There are two waterfalls,
Ban Nieu waterfall that is completely in Vietnam
and this one which is behind the tree,
that is Do Thien Phu Vu.
And that is shared by both countries.
We are now approached by a Vietnamese boat.
They came and get close to us
and now offer coffee, pasta, cigarette.
It is just funny when the loudspeaker is
warning people not to buy anything from Vietnamese side.
But meanwhile they are starting an international trade
for 10 minutes on a boat.
Are you Chinese or Vietnamese?
I can't speak Chinese.
but the upstream in Vietnam and they release water every day at noon for this
waterfall. There is something I don't like about the scenic zones. I found the
planning of the tour is very cunning so the ticket office is about 10 kilometers
away from the entrance of the waterfall and the ticket include a 35 yuan
shuttle bus service but tourists like me who come here by motorbike or by car
we actually don't need this shuttle bus service. So if I want to save that 35
yuan it's another 20 kilometer drive and I can of course buy a ticket online but
I can't exclude that shuttle bus fee outside my package. After the waterfall
there was also a long street where you can buy all kinds of Vietnamese product
but I wouldn't recommend you to do so because products here are way more
expensive compared with what you can get from the outside. I'm not really into
shopping but I'm so intrigued by how life looks like from the other side. You
know it's just within my reach. However I was not able to cross the border this
time. I don't have a visa yet. I just applied for a visa today so I still have
to wait for some days before it can be granted. So in the coming days I will
definitely cross the border. If you want to know how different it is stay tuned
and I hope you enjoyed today's video about Berlin waterfall landscape
beautiful landscape. Thanks for watching and good night
