Am I the asshole for asking my stepdaughter to cook for us?

Am I the asshole for asking my stepdaughter to cook for us? I, 45 male, have a stepdaughter, 17 female, who's a phenomenal cook. I'm talking about homemade pasta sauces, scratch baking, even using imported seasonings. The thing is, she only does it for herself. While she's fine with cooking for us when I ask, it only happens on rare occasions, when we have DIY dinner nights. It's frustrating to smell the enticing aroma of her homemade garlic pesto We get her ingredients that are quickly used up, yet she never makes meals to share, and it's starting to annoy me. So, earlier tonight, I asked her if she would start making dinner for us all more frequently, and I didn't say every night. She then got annoyed and mouthy, saying she's drowning in her schoolwork, internship, and commissions from her work as a talented digital artist. She said she can't babysit us, just because we never learn to cook. She claims her sparse dinner preparations are a treat when she's up to the task, and feeling nice. And she can't be expected to come up with something new and fresh every night. She's doing it for herself anyway, why not throw in a little extra for the rest of us? So, I told her to just do the dishes and go to her room. She did the dishes, stomped off, and hasn't come out since. My wife thinks I'm the asshole, but I think I'm in line. She lives under my roof, without paying rent, and she's already cooking every night for herself anyway. Am I the asshole?
