After all the traffic on the G318, we are now left abgebogen in the direction of the south.
And it's just a trauma.
Today there is a Radius for lunch, which we just found on the street.
The radiator is all over the place and the mopeds are completely overloaded.
And the flight ab und zu mal da unten.
And our newest Errungenschaft in snacks, the Süßkartoffeln vorkochen, is that you?
Can I just be the next day and eat with salt?
It's so heavenly tasty.
And especially we have in the Wasserkocher gekocht,
Because the man in the hotel is not the Gascocher can throw, the Gascocher.
Wasserkocher makes it possible.
We're going to be riding through the Tibetan plateau.
Here at over 4,000 meters the weather changed faster,
When we can take our pants off again and again.
"On the sunshine follows the snow, on the snow follows the rain,
On the rain follows the day and on the sun follows the day or something like that.
Although there are still some passes beyond the 4,000-year-old border lying before us,
We're going to go to a pass, 4,708 meters above Kuluki Pass.
It will be the high point of our entire journey.
Who's with us, where's he going?
We are on 4.600 und?
50, not really.
Und der Berg is called Rabbit Mountain.
And we always asked ourselves, why.
But I think we've discovered why it's now called Haseberg.
Music
Today is actually so far away,
That we will ride on the highest point of our journey.
We've already said that on the Akbaital in Tajikistan,
But it's only 4.700.
35 or something like that.
Let's see how high it really is when we're up there.
And as you can hear, the air is now very thin.
Right now we're at 4,250.
Also ein bisschen was vor uns.
We did it.
Now we are at 4,708 meters.
This is now officially the high point of our journey.
From the highest point of the trip, it's a long way to the top.
I'm going to immerse myself in the Täler der Tibeter.
Gebetsmühlen, the characteristic white houses,
The little towns and the golden temple between the mountains.
Around us it will be real alive again.
Now we are tagelang through the individual Berge gefahren
Und wie es dem Nichts, as it is in China is so usual, Hochhäuser.
It's really always gigantic, was man für Städte da in den Bergen findet.
The city of Xiangcheng, very close to Sichuan,
It's a wild mix of tradition and modernity.
Besides Schillernden Hochhäusern we can find another really old restaurant.
Our experience is not exactly in such huts that absolutely best Essen.
And if we speak of Essen in China, then we mean not Essen,
But then we'll say the best food of the previous trip.
Never have we had so many good geese as in China.
The Bestellvorgang runs as follows.
In these Kühlschränken are all the Zutaten.
Man shows them Koch, welches Gemüse man haben möchte
And get a cup of Grüntee, to shorten the waiting time.
Meanwhile, the Essen is being prepared fresh over hot flames in the Wok.
For us there are today Aubergines and lots of Sojasprossen.
I'm going to give you a big portion of rice.
Gewürzt wird in Sichuan with Sichuan Pfeffer,
I'm going to have to go with the meatballs.
Gegessen will then become self-evident with Stäbchen.
Richtig is a lecker.
How long have we been looking for Campingplatz?
Ah, ever.
I've been thinking for two hours.
We're still driving so slowly, always looking for something.
We wanted to go to bed early.
Or we were actually going to sleep at the homestay.
But then we were told,
That tourists are not allowed to sleep.
Yeah, the war with the communication a little difficult.
In the end, they sent us away.
Then we asked at the hotel, the war was too expensive.
Yes, on the fields, man wanted to sleep.
The problem is, the Fields have such huge curves.
And now we're there on such a viewing platform.
At first glance, this doesn't look so cool.
But with the outlook, one can never really hide.
Today is the second day in the Schlucht.
And every curve is gigantic, really.
And there are many curves.
But the Steinschlag, there is not without.
I'm not sure I'm the most beautiful.
The most imposing routes we've ever had.
