We actually had to expedite our visas because it was not getting approved on time.
This is my first time in Vietnam so I'm so excited and it's a little overwhelming because
there's so many motorbikes everywhere.
Right now we are headed to the Old Quarter and that's where our Airbnb is.
So we're using the same app that we use in Thailand called Grab.
It's basically their version of Uber or Lyft.
We booked a really cute Airbnb.
I'll show you guys what it looks like when we get there.
Oh my gosh.
There's no elevators.
Gosh, they're struggling.
Okay, so we made it up five flights of stairs but this place is so cute.
So we just exchanged some money.
If you find a bulk store just like that, those are the places that give you the best rates.
I'm trying my best not to get hit by these motorbikes.
They are everywhere.
You have to be careful.
One chicken and coffee.
I'll have two grilled mince pork bánh mì.
Oh, yes, two.
We just ordered two of the grilled mince pork bánh mì and we got a coconut.
That's 85,000 đồng.
We're trying our first bánh mì.
This is a really popular franchise.
I am sweating bullets.
I'm so excited to try this.
We both ordered the combo obama.
It comes with a bunch of fried seafood roll and a Hanoi beer.
And all of that is 128,000 đồng.
Our first day here and I'm sweating bullets.
It's so soft.
Hey guys, I just wanted to take a quick second to talk about a really important part of traveling and remote working, which is online security.
For those of us who are working while we're traveling, we're constantly trying to connect to public Wi-Fi networks, whether that's at the airport, hotel, or cafe.
However, every time that we do browse the internet and connect to these networks, we are actually exposing ourselves to cyber threats, such as phishing or man-in-the-middle attack.
So in order to prevent these threats, I have been using a tool for many, many years.
And I'm actually using it right now too.
It's called NordVPN and they have helped me tremendously throughout my travels.
By encrypting all your online activities, NordVPN makes sure that all of your sensitive information remains private and is protected from hackers when you're using public Wi-Fi networks.
You can also stay safe from malware by using NordVPN's threat protection feature.
This feature blocks any malicious websites that you're trying to access for a smooth browsing experience.
In addition to improving your security, threat protection also stops many types of web trackers to beef up your privacy.
If you want to watch or use certain websites that are blocking your area, or if you just want to make sure that you are able to use your favorite apps while you're traveling, NordVPN can help you do that very easily and safely.
Just one click and NordVPN makes a safe connection to its servers.
Then you can surf the web without worrying no matter where you are.
If you guys care about online privacy, which you should, getting NordVPN is a good idea.
For anyone looking to try NordVPN, you can get an exclusive NordVPN deal plus four months extra by using my code.
It is risk-free with Nord's 30-day money-back guarantee.
I will also include the link in my description box.
One beef pho, a mango salad, also got beef spring rolls with lemongrass.
Good morning, it is day two in Hanoi, Vietnam.
These are tiny, tiny stairs.
That was really good.
So we're going to try another bánh mì.
If you just walk across the street, there is bánh mì 25, which is also really popular.
This is a mango smoothie.
So good.
I'm going to try the Vietnamese egg coffee, the coconut coffee, and also the local Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk.
I think my favorite was the egg coffee.
The weather's not that hot today, thankfully.
Yesterday was honestly kind of brutal.
Just letting you guys know, it is super touristy, but it is a very popular thing to do here.
So if you do want to check it out, I will put the time down below.
And you also have to order a drink.
