♪ Every summer, every winter, or every season, I'll be missing her. No matter how much time goes by, my love for her will never die. ♪
That was a very long flight, but it was okay.
Aloha!
Weather is actually not too bad. It's a little bit windy, humid, but not too hot.
Aloha!
All they did was give, like, two drinks.
We're in Alaska.
I thought the sandwich was pretty good.
And then, Winnie ate it, but she's going to grab the chair.
Our friends have a timeshare at Club Wyndham, so we were able to stay with them at a two-bedroom presidential suite.
Wow!
Whoa!
This place is gigantic.
Thanks, guys!
The bathroom.
Hello!
And then our room.
Oh!
The view.
Amazing.
Incredible.
Welcome to Waikiki!
We're finally having Ono Seafood.
It is a very popular spot, but the poke is more expensive compared to other places.
It's your first time!
Yummy, yummy.
So there's some seating out here.
A very tiny parking lot.
One, five, seven.
You can make anything stand up too.
In the span of 15 minutes, we will have eaten poke from two different places.
Look, salmon.
And then the wasabi.
This is, like, your local grocery store.
So all the snacks are just generic American ones.
So later, we'll go to the ABC store.
That's where you can get Hawaiian snacks.
The only six-pack.
There's no six-pack under this?
It's in the works.
Think Hawaiian 7-Eleven.
The 7-D mangoes are so good.
Kith is one of my husband's favorite ice cream shops.
They do have it in Los Angeles, but I feel like it's a little bit more special when you
have it in Hawaii.
This was the first place we actually tried it.
They specialize in either milkshakes or mix-ins.
So they mix in the cereal into your ice cream.
And it is, it's a little pricey, but it's a really good amount that you can share with
people.
Back in our hotel room.
I am exhausted because we got up at basically one o'clock in the morning, Hawaii time.
And it is currently four o'clock.
So it's about ready to be my bedtime.
But the night is still young.
The thing about Waikiki is that parking is very expensive.
It's like $50 a night.
So that's the only drawback if you do have a car.
But I feel like you need a car here because there's so much to do outside of downtown.
I guess this one is the Totoro upgrade.
It's the upgrade of this one.
It is 7-eleven and the line is quite long already.
I don't like it.
There's a high chance I won't like it.
It's a sad, sad day.
We're in luck.
They are available.
Rip and dip.
We paid for parking and reserved about a month out for Diamond Head.
But I saw a few reservations.
Even about a week before should be okay.
But I'd rather just be safe than sorry.
I can't.
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
It's okay.
Last time we did like down there where the orange fencing is and it took about like 40 minutes.
But they are known for their donuts.
You can get cream filled or just plain.
You got it?
It's crowded around a box of misosadas.
That's our friend.
I see the inside.
Nice.
Whoa.
No one saw that.
That's wild.
A crispy jerky.
We're going to Ramen Mario to grab some suki men.
It's BTS.
It's deep room time.
Marks on the wall.
Three balls.
I'm so glad we escaped even though that was scary.
It was the hardest level.
But if I could choose, I would have wanted to do the playground.
Because it's very nostalgic of childhood and my life as a teacher.
My husband really wanted to do the prison break one.
But I feel accomplished knowing that it was the hardest one.
There's a lot of food land in Oahu but the Ala Moana one is the best.
It is super big and clean and they have a lot of prepared food.
So would it be cool to say
Do you wanna escape without ending the night?
We could drive through all of the city lights
Or we could find home to some place just you and I
That'd be my song
While we were at Mandela's, 45 minutes before we were going to pick it up.
We came to the state park.
Ginger.
Good morning!
I am going on a solo adventure to go get an acai bowl.
So I didn't get an acai bowl at Island Vintage last time.
So we're going to test it out and see which one I like more.
Either Sunrise Shack or Island Vintage.
I really like Island Vintage's acai bowls.
We're here at 9.50pm.
Sign up sheet opens at 10pm and then restaurant opens at 10pm.
Ah, Maya. Hello again.
Work for your food.
Sweet sauce.
$10 worth of stew.
That's a big.
A hand for comparison.
Thank you.
The piece is huge.
At a certain point we're starting to feel like the vendors are repeating.
I think it's cool to also support the locals and this is their business and what they do.
For our last day, we basically just prepared for our flight.
So I just grabbed a bunch of snacks and we were ready to go to the airport.
