He did that shoot around like a normal scout left for the rebound. Kaitlin Clark around the back, thought about pulling. Still with some time. Here is Clark, waits, takes, short. We had this format in 2021. A player to keep an eye on, Enrique Gumbuwale was the MVP in that game for the All-Stars. Gets it back from Agumake, dumps it to her. Extra feed, Bonner cuts in for two, draws two. Bray looking to take it to Clark. Fading away, couldn't get it to go. Not even back to their USA basketball days were they on the same side. First quarter, how you all play? We didn't play real defense. All right, fair assessment. Nice pass from Clark. Balls to the rebound, getting her first minutes. Clark, the flick ahead. Oh, what a dime from Clark. And Jones lays it in. This is one of the things that makes Kaitlin Clark elite. At the very top, in terms of players in the WNBA, when it comes to passing. Head up, throws it, only where Jones... Came up one point short in the three-point contest last night. Clark, off on a three. Here's Plum, knocked away by Clark. Out of bounds, let's bring in Nick. I mean, just how would you describe this moment for women's basketball and what it has felt like from your vantage point? Very first time. Because Collier had not played since July 4th. Here's Clark working behind Reese. Her three, too strong. Look at the speed from Clark. Nice look, and Gray gets fouled. And now the USA women's national team is cooking. Lead is up to six. Here's Gray in the corner. Can't hit the three. Knocked away by Clark. Here's Clark ahead of the field. Caitlin Clark has her first all-star points. There he is. Ted Lasso. Breyana Jones here setting the screen to come to Caitlin Clark. She's used to that. Just a dime dropped inside. Nice finish. She likes to nuzzle. That was a really good team and helped defense that time by the all-stars. Here's Gray. She got it. She's been great to play with. I mean, the future, we're going to be playing with each other a lot. Hopefully in four years, we can be Olympians together. Angel, it's been terrific. Around the screen for Boston. Boston's jumper is good. Five seconds left. Clark sees the zone. Fires away. In and out on a bomb. Jones flips it in. D cell Euro. Okay, you talked about the improvement that is needed for defense. What was Cheryl Reese's message? Because she's deemed unhappy. Good stuff with Stewie. Thank you, Holly. A four-point lead for the national team as Hakuba Wally won it. That doesn't always happen at all-star games. Here's Clark. Nice find. Hakuba K. Push shot. Banks in. Clark loses the handle momentarily. Here's Hakuba Wally. She got it. All-star team coming out. The pocket pass. Screen. Roll. Drop it down. Nneka Emel. To be a specimen watching these guys coach themselves. Cheryl, we appreciate the time. So there's also individual incentive for all these players, but more than anything else. What's up, CeCe? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. How's your first all-star game experience been so far? It's pretty fun. I think it's a great atmosphere. They're doing a great job here in Phoenix. So I'm having fun. It's definitely hot. But other than that, it's been good. How have you felt about your performance so far here in your first all-star game? I mean, if the ball would stop going in and out on every three, that would be kind of nice. But, no, it's been good. I think we're playing hard, and we know they were going to compete, so we wanted to compete, too. So, oh, my, Enrique's starting to feel it. Get her the ball. Fun watching Enrique break it down off the dribble. Yeah, absolutely. She's probably the best one-on-one player in our league. She's pretty dang good. Kaitlyn, do you want to know the all-time all-star game assist record? What is it? It's 11. You're at 9, and it's Suze. Oh, okay. It's Suze. Okay, then I'm breaking it. She's been talking crap all game, so then I'm breaking it. If it's anybody else, they can keep it. Not Sue Bird. So, when you break it, just make sure and go over there and tell her, all right? Yeah, thank you for telling me that. That's really important. You got it. Kaitlyn, we appreciate you. Congrats on a great start to your rookie season, and enjoy a little break here. Yeah, thank you, guys. All right, that's Kaitlyn Clark joining us. Yeah! Clark fakes, gets it back, gives it up. Jones, body's in. Can't do it at all. Gives free to lay it in. Here's Clark, thinking about a bomb. The hesitation to take the lead. Reese, the lay. Clark to not finish. Clark spins away from Ionescu. Dumps it down. Bonner can't read it. Here's Clark, thinking about a bomb. The hesitation to take the lead. Reese, the lay. Clark to Reese. The key connection. Kaitlyn Clark to Angel Reese. Clark with 10 assists. Off the double. Finds Reese. Magumbawale will fire again. Right back to Clark. Clark behind the Reese screen. A bomb is off.
