People, I'm back again. Appreciative to having you lot tuned in again. It's my second latest
Arsenal news show. It was so nice. I had to do it twice. Now, obviously, I've done the
first one in the morning, gone to the gym, come back, and apparently Zinchenko has spoken
about some stuff. Kyrgios or the race to sign Kyrgios, whether it's Juventus, AC and Inter
is starting to take shape. And Fabrizio Romano has said another club is interested in Reece
Nelson, which, where you look at Eddie Nketiah, he's been linked with a lot of British clubs
and probably more aggressively Marseille. Smith Rowe, I don't want him to leave, but
you've got Fulham and Crystal Palace onto you. And obviously, the more clubs interested
in Reece Nelson, whether that's West Ham, whether that's Leicester City, which Romano
has said, people, the better for us. It drives up the price. We get some money in and we
can get some new additions or get maybe even punch a bit above our weight, you know, and
try and go for players that we didn't think we would get, people. Now, again, give me
a second to change screens with you lot, or better yet, share my screen, be the correct
terminology, and we'll start off with Zinchenko's thoughts on Arsenal. Whatever he said, I haven't
read it, people. Zinchenko insists Arsenal do not need to copy Man City to win the Premier
League after his old club triumphed over the Gunners to win a full successive title.
Nobody can copy Manchester City. We therefore can't. We're not backed by a country. We don't
have the wealth that they have. As much as I like Mikel Arteta, we have not got Pep Guardiola.
And as much as I like our existing players, you know, and I think a lot of them would
hold their own weight at Arsenal, at Manchester City, apologies. We don't have the squad that
they have. There's a reason Pep has turned this into a farmers' league. And although
in the last two years, you know, Arsenal have, you know, given them a good fight, a bit like
when, you know, Liverpool did better than us because Klopp actually won it. But, you
know, Pep Guardiola has won all the wars and he's won four successive Premier League titles.
As it says, there's rumours he's going to depart after next season. I'm sure he wants
to win a fifth. Come on, Pep Guardiola, let your boy Mikel Arteta win that. And, you know,
there's a lot of managers, Arteta, Ten Hag, the Chelsea guy. There's a lot of people that
are from the school of Pep Guardiola or have worked with him or under him in some capacity.
So beyond the obvious. And we can't copy Manchester City because ironically, one thing I want
us to copy Manchester City is Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko. You were good squad players.
We made Zinchenko the first choice left-back. He was a revelation to some degree in the
inverted role, but ultimately, defensively, he's a liability. Gabriel Jesus, you know,
he hasn't been able to stay fit, but on his day, he's a top, top player, a key part of
this squad. I back him to get 15 league goals next season. Don't make me look stupid. But
as an out-and-out number nine, he does not bring the goals, essentially, people. So we
can't copy them. We all know the 27-year-old who has two years left on his contract has
spent five years at Manchester City and won four titles. He said, I don't think we need
to copy someone like City, of course. And I also think it's a bit disrespectful to Mikel
Arteta because, you know, I'm sure there's some similarities. There's certain things
he's learned from Pep Guardiola, from David Moyes, from, you know, Arsene Wenger, from
his own footballing journey. You know, he's good friends with Xabi Alonso. They probably
helped each other in that regard. He's got his own way of doing things full stop. And
obviously, he's come up through La Masia. Nobody's footballing journey is the same.
So he's got his own things. But naturally, there's going to be some intangibles, you
know, pressing from the front, you know, having a system and stuff like that. There are some
similarities, but it's not Pep Guardiola. He said, of course, at the moment, they're
probably the best team in the world. If you look at the stats and titles they've won in
the last couple of years, it's amazing. You always need to look at the best but not be
like them. We need to be on top of them, which is true, really and truly. And I think the
last two years is great as Manchester City are. And, you know, they've shown that it's
impossible to win the league because we all know you're going to lose games, but you can't
afford to lose games. I don't think we lost the last two Premier League seasons. People
missed out on a Premier League title because of Manchester City. I think City did their
thing. You give them an inch, they'll take a yard. You know, the season before the one
that's just gone, we fell off at the end. Obviously, generally, from start to finish
last season, we were great. There was obviously some moments where we could have done better.
And had we picked up four to six points, where would we be essentially, in my opinion? He
I really hope and believe in the close future Arsenal can achieve a lot of things. Now,
side note, but if Zinchenko believes that, if Mikel Arteta believes in him, and he's got two
years left, you know, Zinchenko's been at City. Competition is something I reckon he relishes.
Is he necessarily going to run away from having Timber fully fit? You know, for maybe Tommy
Asu won't fit being ahead of you, from having California coming to the club and such is our
depth. I've probably missed out another left back option. I don't think Tini's ahead of him.
So I don't reckon Zinchenko is going to move on. Obviously, it looks like we'll get on to it. But
Kivio is more likely to be sold. It seems like there's a bigger market. Obviously, you know,
I'd imagine Kivio's got longer in his contracts. Zinchenko's got two years left and he probably
earns a lot more money. So on a balance sheet sort of thing, it probably makes more sense to get rid
of Zinchenko. But in terms of bringing money in, you could argue Kivio has a market so he could
bring money in. And I would also ask, if you put a gun to Mikel Arteta's head, I know this is
dramatic, and let's just disregard California, Timba, Tommy Asu. You've only got Kivio and
Zinchenko. Which one would you bet on? I reckon he'll bet on Zinchenko versus Kivio, if I'm honest
with you. So yeah, people, that doesn't sound like someone that wants to leave the club any
time soon. Obviously, Zinchenko, across 38 Premier League games, he started 20 but found himself on
the bench as Tommy Asu and Kivio competed. Kivio done well to take his chance when there was
injuries and ran with it. Tommy Asu had a strong end to the season. And unfortunately, Timba got
injured, but we all know he's a big boy. He said he believes that competition for places is key for
Arsenal's title push, even if it means his starting spot is in increased jeopardy. I mean, what's he
pushing there? I don't even know the weight, but big up Zinnia with that one. I knew Timba before
he came to Arsenal. I played against him for the national team at the Euros. I knew him as a player.
He's an unbelievable player and an unbelievable guy. He's so humble. He's working super hard.
Unfortunately for him, he just picked up an injury, but he's doing amazing now. I was watching all the
progress, the way he was coming back from injury, how much he was working. Chapeau to him. I don't
know what that means. And everything he has done, he deserves a lot of credit. I wish for every
single player in the club to do his best. That is the only way to achieve a lot of things. Pick him
up because that's what we want to see. You know, individually, of course, selfishly, everybody wants
to play, but the collective comes first. And for every player in every position at this team,
give Mikel Arteta a headache. Genuinely keep him up at night as to who is going to start
in any position. And I love the defensive options we've got. Of course, I would love a winger and
a striker, but I do like the existing options. But yeah, man, I think we could, you know,
I think the issues for me are central midfield, Partey, Jorginho, Rice, they're quality players.
But, you know, in terms of longevity, Jorginho and Partey are not going to be here. They both
pick up injuries, more so Thomas Partey. Zinchenko said, wherever the manager is going to use me at
the club, I'll be happy to do my best and give my all. It'll be amazing. It'll be an amazing
competition, not just for my position, but the others as well. That is what you need in a team
that is going to achieve a lot of things and win a lot of titles. You need this competition. This
is the way when we push each other. We're all professionals here. When we step on the pitch,
we all just need to do our best 100%. Then once we step off the pitch, we can be one family again.
Fair play, people. Keeping up the theme with Arsenal defenders, as we know people well,
as we don't, because a pop-up just arrived. Jacob Kivio has emerged as a transfer target
for Inter Milan. He only joined for £21 million in 2023. The 24-year-old could be on his way out.
As you know, we're closing in, allegedly, of a £40 million move for Ricardo Californi,
Inter hope that deal will tempt the Gunners into selling. But the rumours,
away from what we're reading now, are very hypocritical because it does seem that,
you know, people are more open to getting Kivio on loan. Now,
if you can get a loan with an obligation to buy in, it makes sense to do it. But it
seems like a dry loan. We all know the Italian clubs, and better yet, all clubs across Europe,
bar the exception of a few, they're dwarfed by the money in the Premier League.
Arsenal should not be making a loss under £21 million, people, in my humble opinion,
where Kivio's concerned. And I can't begrudge Kivio if he says, you know what, I've tried my
best. Zinchenko's probably ahead of me. Timber's ahead of me. Tomi Asu's ahead of me. Californi
is probably not just going to be ahead of me at left-back but also at centre-half.
That's without speaking about Gabriel. I need to go and play. My stock was high in Italy. I
obviously know the way of life and the league and all of those kinds of things. I'm going to keep
it moving, really and truly. And at 24 years of age, you need some game time, man. Apparently,
other Italian clubs are thought to be interested in Kivio and AC Milan were linked with him in
January. Some reports say Inter Milan are playing the waiting game where Kivio's concerned because
you'd imagine this California deal was getting over the line. But you would imagine we're not
going to make a decision on Kivio's future until it's signed, dotted and completed. And obviously,
I don't think Tomi Asu's injury disrupts too much of what we might do with Zinchenko and Kivio but
it is a factor. Bologna were also credited with an interest in Kivio but reports in Italy claim
he was unwilling to be a make-weight as part of the deal for California. Arsenal are in a strong
position with Kivio because he still has three years left on his contract with the option of
a further 12 months, people. He's part of the Arsenal squad on tour in America. So yeah,
Bologna, Inter, AC have all been credited once again, people. Obviously Inter Milan today seem
to be the one they're wanting and apparently they're looking for a left-sided defender.
So is there any legitimate interest in Kivio with Inter Milan or is it because he plays in
a position they're identifying? I'm not too sure. Apparently the defender aims to join Juventus or
Inter refuses to join another club, people. I can't begrudge him. Juventus is a massive club.
Inter Milan, a bit like AC, needs no introduction, essentially, people.
Apparently he's Inter Milan's first option to bring in at the football club. We'll have to
see what's going on in that regards there, people. He's contracted until 2028, as we know, with an
option. Romano said Leicester City open talks with Arsenal for Reece Nelson, loan deal with
obligation to buy in talks over financial terms with Arsenal. Leicester confident they can persuade
if the clubs come to terms, as he's previously worked with Steve Cooper.
Now, admittedly, I'm not privy to what's being said, but for me, and Leicester isn't that too
far from London, but if I'm Reece Nelson, West Ham, they're playing in Europe. Again,
anything can happen, but they've got a lot more stability where the Premier League's concerned.
They're pushing into the European places. I think they've got a stronger squad anyways.
I would rather go there. Again, if he's worked with Steve Cooper, if Leicester is the best
option for him, go and do his thing. We have heard a few months ago that Reece Nelson,
courtesy of The Athletic, actually has informed Arsenal he wants to keep it moving. Will Arsenal
sanction his exit before bringing in a winger? I'm not too sure. If I'm Reece Nelson, I don't
really give a monkey's about that, really. I'm doing what I need to do in pre-season and I'm
keeping it moving. And to be fair, the Wolves, the Brightons and all of those kind of clubs,
Brentford, that were linked with him in the run-up to the window, people, it's kind of gone quiet.
But the more clubs that are interested in Reece Nelson, we could be the winners, really. Let's
get a decent sale, really. We've heard we're interested in both Nico Williams and Miquel
Moreno and Barcelona's on the case for both. Broadley could leave Ajax this summer for around
€25m to €30m. Roma are interested but the striker wants to play in the Premier League.
He was previously linked with us. I wonder if those links will resurface. Allegedly,
Arsenal have joined Chelsea in being back on the race for Victor Llores and are preparing
a massive offer for the Sporting Lisbon striker. That's according to Courtside,
who reported that once Nketiah completes his move to Marseille, then Arsenal make a big bid for
Llores. And there's been some reports you would have seen in my last video that we're still
scouting Llores. Now, when is Eddie Nketiah going to complete that move to Marseille? He's in
America at the moment. Apparently, he's keen on the move. Some reports go as far as to say he's
agreed personal terms. But the crucial bit is agreeing a fee with Arsenal Football Club. Let's
be honest. I hope Eddie Nketiah goes to the French League and plays for Marseille and has
a similar spell that Balogun had and just scores goals and does well. But realistically,
obviously, Roberto Di Zerbi wants new players in. It's an exciting project. It's a big club. It's a
top league. But let's be honest. If Eddie Nketiah goals, shows that with a platform he can score
goals, they're going to sell him right back to this market for probably a handsome profit,
as would be the case. So we need to get a good fee, probably a sale on clothes as well, people.
Where Llores is concerned, people apparently were to test the waters with an offer in the
region of €70m, which equates to about £55m to £60m. Sporting Lisbon are still demanding that
interested clubs pay Llores' €100m release clause. Chelsea are also allegedly interested,
people. So yeah, Llores, it's all Llores once again. And to be fair with you, 29 league goals,
43 goals in 50 games, we could do with someone that could bag that in the Premier League.
And again, it's apparently said Nketiah has agreed personal terms over a move to Marseille.
And a second source has reiterated that Arsenal are trying to beat Chelsea to the signing of
Llores and has detailed what Edu's opening gambit may look like. I mean, this is essentially
guesswork, people. We've kind of gone over that already. So everybody's kind of saying the same
things. Barcelona allegedly are unable to sign Mikel Moreno until a big money sale occurs.
So how are they going to find the finances for Dani Almo, who they've been linked with, or
Nico Williams? Arsenal are best placed to sign the Real Sociedad midfielder with an offer of
€25m expected to come soon. So once the California deal is done, it seems like it's going
to be daily Mikel Moreno news, people, in that regards. And apparently we're prepared to battle
Barcelona for the signing of athletic club. The winger Nico Williams would love the 22-year-old
attacker at the Emirates. I'm not going to get my hopes up, people. If and when Barcelona walk
away or that move doesn't happen, then maybe we could dream, people. Mikel Moreno allegedly looks
destined to complete a move to Arsenal, with Barcelona apparently on the brink of giving up.
We'll have to see. He's been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona. There's definitely another
club I'm missing out, Atletico Madrid. Apparently Atletico have moved away. Chelsea's interest is
described as tentative. And we've just gone over why Barcelona might not be necessarily a priority.
He might not be a priority signing for them. I mean, if we could get Frankie De Jong, that would
be it, really. His future will probably be at Arsenal, as Barcelona see it almost impossible to
sign him, while the footballer himself prefers to play in the Premier League than with Atletico
Madrid. Another one of his suitors, says reports, people. With Nico Williams and Dani Almo as the
main targets, the arrival of Moreno, a player that Deco likes a lot, would only be possible
with a transfer of Frankie De Jong. So we'll have to see, people. He's liable to be sold. Apparently
they wanted to offer him a new deal. He's made it clear he doesn't want to do that. He wants to take
time over his future. He's 28 years of age. He's had great UROs and obviously a great domestic
campaign. He's contracted until 2025. They can sell him now or they can run the risk of him
leaving for free or maybe even changing his mind, people, which is dangerous territory. And as an
Arsenal fan, you can never get away from that because it will happen. It happens at City,
it's happened at Madrid and it's happened at other clubs, you know, PSG, Kylian Mbappe,
free transfer. But it is nice for once over the last few years to not have to have players'
contracts running down like the Alexis's, the Ozil's, et cetera. It's nice to see Martinelli,
Saka, in particular Saliba, their contracts were dealt with very swiftly. I mean, I don't think
anybody expects us to sign Osserman, but just as someone keeping an eye on it, apparently PSG are
continuing talks for him, people. And this article in short said that Premier League clubs are still
on the case. And finally, Fulham are expected to go back in with an improved offer for Arsenal
forward Emile Smith-Rowe. Discussions ongoing internally over the make-up of the bid. Again,
Sky Sports reported earlier that both Fulham and Crystal Palace had bids rejected for, you know,
Art Heylender. So, yeah, it seems like the Heylenders are the primary kind of talking point
here. Obviously, we've gone over Moreno, Nico Williams, Jocorez and dealt with what Zinchenko
has said, people. So, yeah, let me know your thoughts on everything. Do check out the description,
people. I need a big favour for you lot. Versus and Chivas have a sort of initiative going.
