This is the start of our trip across Canada! We’re planning to go all the way to Vancouver with many stops along the way! Today we’re at Bruce Peninsula National Park camping with some friends! We explore the picturesque white pebbled and rocky shores of the Bruce Peninsula along the Georgian Bay, find hidden caves both above and in the water, hit up the famous Grotto, and swim in the crystal clear blue waters of Indian Head Cove. This National Park is out of this world beautiful and looks more like Greece than it does Canada!
Thanks for watching :)
We upload a new adventure every Monday, and will soon be posting Wednesday and Fridays too! (So expect 2 videos per week!) Subscribe to follow along :)

Which way to the grotto?
That way.
Are we not on a trail anymore?
C'est bon.
Good morning from Bruce Peninsula!
We got here two days ago after a seven hour drive.
We got stuck in traffic for the longest time.
Classic Toronto.
We finally made it to meet John and Lucinda at Bruce Peninsula National Park.
So we're starting off the day with some coffee.
Got the van in the back and that shelter. Thanks Lisette.
We will be giving you a full van tour.
We just want to do it when the weather is a bit nicer and when we have cleaned the van.
Lis and John are back and they're on breakfast duty this morning.
So they're making us a delicious breakfast.
They're on breakfast duty.
What are you making us for breakfast?
I eat some bacon.
Do you see how different the yolk is?
Do you like the look of it?
You look like you're in coffee style.
I can feel it.
The sun is shining and we're going to go on a hike today.
Check out Bruce Peninsula.
I've had caffeine and I feel energized.
I don't think I've had enough caffeine.
I don't feel that energized.
Also, it rained in Thurston last night.
I left my towel out.
We left some clothes out.
John left his shoes out.
There's our pile of floaties.
Oh, our pile of floaties from yesterday.
That was fun.
John and Lucinda made us breakfast.
They did a great job.
This looks delicious.
How is it John?
C'est bon.
So we are finally heading out.
Soon we did some dishes.
We have backpacks packed and we are going to go check out Bruce Peninsula
and see all the beautiful things like the grotto.
Lis, do you have anything to add?
We're going to go for a hike.
Which trail are we walking today?
Do we know?
We're going to go check that out, hike there for a bit
and then we'll go to the grotto to swim afterwards.
Because yesterday we didn't go to the grotto.
We went to Indian Head Cove.
And it was really nice, but we thought we were at the grotto.
So it turns out if you go a little bit further, you find the grotto.
It's just another sight to see.
Very pretty here.
Yeah, so unfortunately, we can't fly our drone.
It's the national park.
Sad.
That's okay, we'll just capture it with this thing.
Yep.
We made it to the grotto.
The shrubbery is amazing.
Everything is like limestone and white.
The water is clear as day.
It's very cold because there's no vegetation,
so it doesn't absorb any heat.
It's just beautiful here.
You forget that we're in Canada, on the Georgian Bay.
We're pretty far that way and then we're going to picnic for lunch.
Like past the beach to where those rocks are.
The next little jet out.
Do you want to explain what just happened?
The camera might have fallen.
But look, it's still shooting, so it still works.
We're good. We're just about to have some lunch.
John's getting hungry, so we've got to eat quick.
John, how's the sammy?
Fantastic.
Nice.
Liz, look at this.
Yum.
Look how beautiful this looks.
Let's take a look.
Look at this little space, all tucked away.
That's the entrance to the cave.
Hello.
Update.
We are walking back from our lovely hike slash walk to this mini peninsula
and we are going to go check out the grotto,
which is a tourist attraction, so it might be a lot busier than here,
but that's why we were hanging out here for a while.
Yeah, we found our own grotto, didn't we?
We did. It's absolutely beautiful.
This whole area is so beautiful.
And wonderful.
Okay, Lucinda, don't get hurt, please.
Look how beautiful this is.
Trying to find the trail again.
I don't think this is good.
Are we not on a trail anymore?
That's us, and we're not too far.
We did take a random right, though, into the bush from here.
It was for the adventure.
And yet, she's leading the way again.
Why do we let this happen?
Adventure time!
Alright, so we got lost. We got found.
Went to the bathroom.
We're back on the trail and we're going to the grotto,
which is going to be busy, but it'll be fun.
Watch where you're going.
Dev, we found it.
The grotto.
We found it!
There it is.
I think it's time for us to jump in the nice, clear, crystal cool water.
Yes, it's a bit cold, but it is beautiful and it's been a good hike,
so it's time for some cooling down.
So, let's hop in.
We're back at the campsite.
We ate some food because we've been in the sun all day.
Good hike.
Devon is into the brownies already.
Lucinda's very, very tasty, gluten-free, sugar-free.
Vegan?
No.
Not vegan?
Brownies.
So, Devon, big news. What did you just do?
I just finished summer school.
As in teaching.
I was working and I'm officially off now.
So, the holiday officially begins.
Devon was working as a civics and career teacher online for the month of July.
So, just finished today.
Completed.
Now we can celebrate.
John's got the chicken just about to be on the barbecue.
And I'm going to do dishes.
Good way to celebrate.
Go play some cards.
Let's eat.
Bon appétit.
This is the happy for dinner dance.
Devon does like dancing when she has food.
A second ago she was falling asleep.
This is the dinner dance.
Literally.
Free dinner dance.
John's not impressed.
Not impressed, eh?
He's like, just put the food in my belly.
So good.
This is Lucinda's super brownie.
Oh my god, we're about to make one of those, right?
Oh my god, wow.
So, it's just about to drizzle.
It's drizzling right now.
We're going to end our video here because it's been a great day with these lovely humans.
Make sure they're in it too.
Last couple of days.
And they're going to be in the video tomorrow morning because guess what?
We're getting up for sunrise.
We're getting up for the sunrise.
And I just said it, so that means we have to.
Exactly.
Anyways, it was a fantastic day here.
We're going to wrap it up.
Thanks for watching.
Bye.
