USA vs South Sudan FULL GAME Highlights | July 29, 2024 | Olympic Men’s Basketball Highlights

Will be Embiid and Gabriel Comes in with just about the most NBA experience amongst the current active players for South Sudan And the tap one by the United States and I'm gonna up the floor This is thus far One four six South Sudan's Booker floats it I'd be taps it in about that you can get it going of course anytime you dribble drive a little linkage a little help Joelle's bodies up The United States and wants that pretty impressive of course Davis is a guy lets them play in a different they can play smaller And obviously the impact defensively it is some sad stories and what these guys may be with their lives Well banked for example sacrificing contributed Lifting Joelle Sling the current Charlotte Hornets for Davis knocked it away momentarily Get tight on him Boy with the kick out another three This is the four three at three dimes already one of the top players in the NBA G League in fact the top Scorer in the G League and an MVP a couple of years ago South Sudan had taken its largest lead at seven now back down to five Well, they're playing with some confidence good ball movement Goodness This is maybe Instrumental really and getting the lead and trying to get into the paint he does against Davis But that's what they do kick out and three-point shooting for South Sudan has been a major factor Rotation so the challenge of the depth impressive for Dang and Ivy and company Minute left to the second. It's four separating from Davis Carly Jones continues to distribute seven assists for the G League MVP White to a wide open Edwards will not missed at that time and finally the u.s. Gets a three See why you gotta get back and identify they love the corner Jack three At the NBA level has knocked down five of eight and has 20 points today Little guy they're jamming it up Just the third time for LeBron James lead back down to six Another heat check three the u.s. On its longest run of the game. They've scored the last eight looking for more Ties the game at 76 on an 11 United States run Most experienced NBA player for South Sudan Lakers LeBron James hits the seventh u.s. Three. He has been magnificent James taking on the challenge The triple double for South Sudan Triple double He'll float it up and knock it down. It's a two-point game. Oh, they are not going away To the tie three for the lead Who wants to be a hero? It's This team To inbound white defending it Jones trying to get free Six seconds left Is it the United States USA ahead up to and we're coming back in just a moment get ready for the fourth quarter of action when we return And let's go back to a terrific pass that we're calling tonight our State Farm assist of the game I'm glad this was the pick because I love this pass such a great dish That's what I call court vision. That wasn't a better pass in the game almost like he had a sixth sense And with these teams locked in a very close contest this fourth quarter promises to be a good one The shot misses Brady that time from Davis and so it's Davis he'll bring the ball up for USA At one point they led by 16 Tatum kicks to curry The putback he hits it on the second chance points and it's a seven-point USA lead And those are exactly the kinds of plays that can spark the team just solid work down in the paint James cover 13 feet away See I can't hit USA laden by seven from outside the yard LeBron shot is off About a minute and a half into the fourth quarter now past the Shea Here's Gabriel. He's guarded by Davis from the baseline It's all been by USA Curry's got four rebounds in this game And the whistle blows in the backcourt violation he went over and back USA with some changes Jobelle and bead he's checked in for Davis holiday comes in for Jason Tatum and it's Booker in for Edwards And we're about two minutes into the fourth quarter now And he gets the whistle two free throws coming up And let's quickly check out the scoring breakdown here for us First free throw is good Both good from the line that time And we're around two minutes into the fourth quarter here Outside curry, there's the pass to holiday back to curry shot clock at six I'm deep shot off that time gotta find easier shots when you're already struggling. That's not gonna get it Curry against dang Over to the left wing And it's Devin Booker with the rebound USA leading by five curry on the wing And the call on the shot that sends him to the line If the ball handling isn't enough to mesmerize you what about the little update by curry? Two shots That's good from Stephen Curry Stephen Curry hits him both perhaps the greatest shooter. The game has ever seen curry continues to age like fine wine Knocked away taken away by holiday two free throws coming up and they call the shooting Holiday draws fouls by keeping his defenders always on their heels over the course of the game Three throw good holiday Chang against Embiid And that one is good And now just a four-point USA lead and you want him taking big shots for you in big moments That one was as easy as it gets. Yeah, it's clear why they go to him in these moments They know he's going to deliver for him Here's LeBron back to curry like at six takes a three That shot is off. And as long as he keeps missing from deep the D will keep letting him fire away He's just off from range right now He loves it up by Jane and you can see him give a little nod and then just burst to the rim for the alley-oop slang a pair of teammates break with the terrific feel for each other And there's the whistle illegal screen I want to pick like that is questionable and creates that much of an advantage for the offense You have to blow the whistle. You gotta blow the whistle when it's that obvious great call there by the official And their offense is really clicking right now playing with a lot of energy and really taking it to the defense Shea can't hit Sheehan's gone only three of ten here from the four games the best Rambi And just miss after miss right now Out to the wing to the middle. Here's Jane that ties the game Really doing its job. They're a little slow to react to the ball getting into the paint Curry kicks to Booker This is it the holiday look free Chang Chang's got four rebounds in this game Jones in the post guarded by Kirk That's the sham Just five on the clock to take the lead He's off on that one. Good D by holiday On its way from curry for two Yes, and it's holiday with the assist that time Who was firing off the shot here curry is just too consistent not to be trusted with it curry with a strong Contribution so far in this one this timeout gives them a chance to strategize because whatever the game plan they have And now a moment to present the new balance player of the game Stefan crew and I love that. It's been a hard-charging performance jump shots have been kind of an afterthought his main goal has been to attack the rim and put the D in some tough spots and also Finishing strong a moment now to hear from our sideline reporter Hall of Famer. David. Oh David. Hey guys Look during the break. I was able to catch the message the visiting team coach gave to his team This is a close game as you know, but he sounded extremely confident He told the players don't let up now fellas. This is when we make our move right now Kevin, thank you. David. Here's holiday and the way that's good off the glass And it's a four-point USA League with experience skill and ability Holiday makes for the perfect go to scoring option Here's Jones Jones's got 21 in the game The pressure is on but Booker can handle it he just has to trust himself And he cannot get the first one to drop tough one to miss The booker is consistent from the free-throw line so he can absolutely get it all done here Jones against her Jones in the post it calls the basket number nine from the field. He's taken 14 shots to get there It's been like this all night for both teams Yeah, but I think it's gonna come down to who can get the stuff Because that's who's gonna come away with this Beat against Jang It's Jones on the way And he's fouled pretty hard on that shot, but he's got the chance to pick up the points at the line That one is on holiday. Yeah easy call First free-throw is good and that ties the game up Anthony Davis. He's checked in for USA And so he's good on both free-throws Tight game he is exactly who he wanted at the line the USA calls time here They're down by one 102 left in the fourth quarter Here's Booker eight feet away Here's Jones For Davis Demonstrated just how clutch he really is Jones in the post curry meets him Davis with some nice deep It's nine seconds separate in the shot clock in game Here's curry And you've got Stefan Wardell hurry the game plan is simple get him the ball eyes your thoughts And if you can get it There's 21 seconds left in the fourth quarter Covered by LeBron Brady that time from LeBron and an intentional foul right there LeBron James taking two shots It's the first that gives them a four-point cushion and LeBron has been in these spots Countless times a clutch performer from the loop and so both free-throws are good. It's a five-point game Making no mistakes and putting some extra nails in the coffin right here Yeah, pretty much do it Jones from outside that shot missing USA wins it was up for grabs life until the final second
