Ladies and gentlemen, I'm at the meeting point of two legendary rivers in Dak Lak.
They are the Kronana and Krono rivers.
According to the local people here, Krona means the mother river and Krono means the father river.
These two rivers have merged together to form the largest and most magnificent river in the West.
It is the Serapok river.
It is also called the Chai Nguoc river.
Looking from above, the merging of the two rivers, Kronana and Krono,
has created a vast and beautiful landscape.
The ripples of the river are like a flowing stream of water.
The water is flowing in a calm and peaceful way.
Everything has created a dreamy landscape,
reminding us of the legend of a passionate love story of a couple who fell in love with each other.
According to the legend, there was a girl in the past who fell in love with a boy on the other side of the river.
Their love grew bigger and bigger until they were discovered.
These two rivers have existed for a long time, so it is forbidden not to love each other.
At the same time, they try to prevent and separate the love of the boy and the girl.
On a bright night by the river, because of too much pain and despair,
both of them fell into the river.
After they died, the girl turned into the Kronana river,
the boy turned into the Krono river.
And the Serapok river is the meeting of the two people,
the harmony of the two people,
like the song of a passionate love story to create a legendary river.
Serapok is one of the two rare rivers in Vietnam.
The river has a length of 406 km,
in which the distance to the territory of Vietnam is 126 km.
This is the largest river in Dak Lak plateau, located in the west of Chieu Son.
After running to Cambodia, the river entered the Mekong river,
returned to Vietnam and then flowed into the South China Sea.
At the end of the 19th century, when the road was not yet developed,
the Serapok river played an important role in the exchange of East Asian countries.
Because this river is very long,
it is combined with many small rivers and springs,
and it is nurtured in vast forests.
So this river has a very large amount of water,
with about 9 billion cubic meters of water.
The ecosystem of the river is also very rich and diverse,
creating a large source of services for the production and livelihood of the local people.
As you can see, around the two banks of the river,
there are very fresh rice fields of the people living on both sides of the river.
Those are rice fields.
The rice is harvested from the source of water to be supplied for agricultural production.
You are on the site along the two banks of the Dong Na and No rivers.
How does the production of farmers depend on the source of water?
We have lived here for a long time,
so the main source of rice is Dong Na water.
Dong Na water is used to ensure the water supply to the rice field.
So the production level is very suitable for high production.
In the past, the rice fields were very large,
but now the rice fields are very large.
so they can cultivate the land of the people very well,
and the rice is very rich in production.
How many hectares of rice do the people here produce per household?
How is the quality of the rice?
It depends on the number of people in the household.
For example, each person produces about 3 hectares of rice.
The number of people in the household produces about 3 to 5 hectares of rice.
Therefore, the production of rice in this area is very stable for the people's lives.
The main source of rice is Dong Na water,
and now the rice is produced at a very high price.
The quality of the rice is very good for export.
The rice is very good for export,
and the demand for export is very high compared to other countries.
In addition to rice, what other crops do the people produce?
What other crops do the people produce?
And what is the source of water to irrigate the rice fields?
In addition to rice,
we have coffee trees and pepper trees in this area,
which are also based on the water source of this river.
The water is kept in this river,
and when it flows into the rice fields,
the people can cultivate the rice.
The water source is very safe for the pepper tree and coffee tree,
or some fruit trees such as durian trees or cotton trees.
Now the people are developing cotton trees and cocoa trees.
In each season of water,
does it affect the color of the flowers that the people grow or produce?
After the flood,
some families in the flood-hit areas
were affected by the flood.
For example, the trees were planted in low-lying areas,
and the houses were flooded.
For example, pigs and cows were flooded.
Some farmhouses were flooded,
and when the flood came,
the people had to move.
How many hectares of land do you have in total?
Currently, I have two houses,
which are 7 hectares in total.
Thank you very much.
Ladies and gentlemen,
the Serapok River has provided a lot of water resources,
and at the same time,
the local people have also contributed to the development of fishing
and fish farming to develop the economy.
We are on the Serapok River.
This is the territory of the Ena commune,
the Krung Ana district.
Sitting next to me is Mr. Tran Ba Duc,
the manager of the Dao Sanh farm.
He has been developing the fish farm model for many years.
Mr. Ba Duc, how many fish farms do you have in total?
Currently, there are 30 fish farms here.
We mainly raise red-banded lobsters
and a few bamboo fish farms.
In the past, we raised snakehead fish,
but now we don't raise snakehead fish.
We only raise red-banded lobsters and bamboo fish.
On the island,
the total area of the island is 14 hectares.
It is divided into two parts.
One part is for fish farming.
The family of the farm provides the fish for themselves
and for the people.
The area of fish farming is about 2.4 hectares.
The area of fish farming is about 3.5 hectares.
The area of fish farming is for catfish,
catfish, catfish, and catfish.
The area of fish farming is about 2.4 hectares.
We raise two families a year.
Each family produces about 25 to 30 tons of fish.
We provide the fish to the farm for ourselves
and sell it to the people.
With such a large amount of fish,
how much does the farm earn?
It has decreased.
From 1923 to 1925-1926,
the price of fish farming here was about 100 VND.
In the years from 1926 to 1923,
the price of fish farming was about 1,000 tons.
Now, the price is about 500 to 600 tons a year.
What are the markets of fish farming?
The main market of fish farming here is the company
that deals with seafood supply to Saigon,
Tay Nguyen, and Nha Trang.
These are the three main markets
and three areas of Saigon, Tay Nguyen, and Nha Trang.
During the process of raising fish on the water surface,
did you face any difficulties?
Yes, we did.
Especially in the beginning of the rainy season,
the water source was dirty.
So the fish got sick.
Now, we have to deal with the technology of medicine
to ensure the fish.
How many workers are working here?
In the recent time,
what kind of support does the company provide?
Currently, the main source of labor here
is the local workers of Buon Choa Commune, Ha Giang.
There are more than 10 workers on the farm now.
Nearly 10 people are local residents.
4 to 5 people come from other places.
In general, the demand for work is increasing.
So we hire more workers every year.
Currently, we are hiring more workers.
When the demand is high,
the number of workers will gradually increase.
So we have to hire more workers.
Thank you for joining our show.
Ladies and gentlemen,
the Legendary Serapok River
has passed through many places
in the two provinces of Dak Lak and Dak Nong
and some provinces of Cambodia.
And in this river area,
there are many beautiful boulders.
It has become a very famous tourist destination
such as Gia Long Tower,
The Rai Sap Tower,
The Rai Nu Tower,
The Rai Ho Linh Tower
and The Bay Nhanh Tower
on the territory of Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces.
With the magnificent natural scenery
along the length of the legendary river.
One day, we explored the legendary rivers.
Our crew experienced
and then felt the beauty of nature.
The river has created life for this land
with colorful boulders
and rural villages along the banks.
For the people of the West,
each river, stream or stream
has its own legend and philosophy.
The Cha Krong No River
and the Mek Krong An Na River
have combined to create the Serapok River.
That philosophy is the harmony of the water stream,
of the mountain,
the shore,
the heavy rain,
and the cultural elements
and the will of the people of the West
to become the symbol of a prosperous life,
of eternal survival
in today's new life.
