U20Championship 2024 | El Salvador vs Canada | Group B

The national anthem of Canada finished with a 2-2 draw. The captains on the left in Salvador, Canada. And we are underway here at the Estadio Sergio Leon Chavez in Irapuato. This is Santi Lopez over the top. This is a run that's going to drop for Costa. Costa is through, leaves it for Cisarelli. Costa wanting it back on the right side, but it's going to fall for Cameron. And for Cisarelli, a chance for Santi Lopez. Goal! Canada! Santiago Lopez. Cool, calm, composed Canadian. And he pounces to give Canada the 1-0 advantage. It is Santi Lopez's second of the tournament. Lovo going forward commits the foul. And I think it might be the end of the tournament for El Salvador. We'll see. Oh, that's a backheel there. And you can see the confidence. Gets it back now. Squaring inside. Well done by Wilbert Diaz to control it. Now it's Steven Guerra. Guerra! Santi Lopez. Lopez with the shot! And it's there for Dani Franco. Guerra, nice touch there to Nelson Diaz. Diaz goes for goal right into the gloves of Sweden's Group B supremacy. Oh, great through ball for Lopez! And his shot is blocked. Go toward the end line. Cameron! Save, Franco! A chance for Cisarelli! His shot is blocked. It's Manuel Matz, but instead gets it to Lopez. Lopez with the shot! And it goes just wide. To Kimani. Back to Santi. What a great feint. Santi with the shot! And it sends it, took the deflection, goes over the crossbar. Last ditch defending by Nestor Delgado. Ball there by Dimitri for Lopez! What a chance! Guerra! Oh, he freaks Costa out of his boots. Guerra! With a chance! Here's Santi Lopez with the shot! Castillo with the shot! Goal! Thinking about cutting inside. There's the tip. Oh my goodness! Oh, Canada! Oh my God! Sliding through. It's an opportunity to shot. Oh! A finish. And that will do it, ladies and gentlemen. Here, Anita Apuato. A spectacular finish.
