Chile to Argentina | Paso Cardenal Antonio Samoré |

All right so today we are in southern Chile just north of Puerto Montt and we're going to be crossing the Andes at Paso Cardenales I believe it's called to Bariloche also known as the Switzerland of Argentina and it's just absolutely beautiful around here like the scenery it's just so lush and green and you can't see it now because the there's sort of rolling hills in the way but beautiful snow-capped mountains really really big ones so let's go see some more and it's just absolutely beautiful around here. All right we've done so many of these crossings that you wouldn't think that it's confusing but it still is confusing. I shouldn't have gone on the little roundabout thing but that's where the road took me. You just park up here and go into the building the one big building there's not a lot of signs once you go in the building you'll see the the desks where you go stamp yourself out stamp the bike out and they said it's 40 more kilometers to the Argentinian side so this is the first Chile-Argentina border but they're not in the same place so let's go 40 kilometers more hit the border and we'll be in Argentina. He said the road's pretty bad but there's no snow so should be all right let's go. All right well that was quick and painless like everything in Argentina so you just go to the building behind me there same thing migration stamp myself in I don't want to get the bike in we're good to go five minutes easy peasy no problem and man Chile was cool it's beautiful the people are friendly but it really feels good to be back in Argentina I really love Argentina uh the people are really really friendly and the prices already are like a third or a quarter of what they are in Chile so happy to be back let's go. Okay so we made it to Bariloche and we've arrived what an incredible day just the scenery was absolutely incredible the blue lakes the snow-capped mountains that I'll show you here in a second uh running through snow the first time in my life even though I didn't have to I chose to do that uh just an absolutely incredible day definitely need a little bit of rest I can feel my face too I don't know if you believe it'll see it but I definitely got burned my face is quite red redder than normal and uh so I'm gonna rest here for a few days but wait to see what I got here uh Argentina right now is just super affordable I have so much empathy for the people that live here and I understand but for us it just makes such a beautiful incredible country unbelievably cheap for $80 I treated myself for $80 for three days so it's three nights for $80 I got an apartment it's got two bathrooms which I don't need uh right in the center of Bariloche but check out this view I'll show you the place real quick but the view wow all right thank you so much if you watched this far thank you so much for tuning in uh hoped you really enjoyed it and I'm I know I have something very very special planned in a couple of weeks but I gotta figure out my route and timing and everything like that but uh tune back in and I'll tell you more about it
