Hello, everyone.

Good morning, everyone.
You are my special guest today.
Hey!
All right.
I just want, as short as possible.
Lana already acknowledged everything.
I, the Deputy Mayor of Greater Dandenong
and the Ward Councillor of this ward, Springwell Central,
I would like to warmly welcome you all to Springwell today
for 2024 Springwell Snowfest.
What?
Veggies?
For me, kindness is very close to my heart.
I tell you one thing about kindness quickly.
Kindness make you happy, make you live longer.
I have my own social media for since 2016.
I have a lot of audience follow me.
I do health seminar.
Kindness, it gives you four happy chemicals in your brain.
They reduce your stress hormone and you live longer,
beyond 90 years old or more.
You know why?
I said a bit, if you don't mind,
I said you can cut it off if you don't mind.
Recently, they released 75-year study.
Last year, 70-year study, 75-year study.
They recruited 15-years-old boy.
Now, only 90, 15 plus 75, 90-years-old
because of kindness.
Eight of our 800 people, 800 young boy,
now only 60 people left.
800, only 60 people left.
Why these 60 people still standing, still breathing,
still celebrate their birthday?
Because kindness.
Therefore, since I arrived in Australia in 1980,
now I do charity a lot.
Always charity and charity until now.
See, charity make you feel happy.
It's a privilege to be kind.
That's what I really promote very heavily.
I'm board member of Monash Health Foundation.
I raise a lot of fund for Monash Hospital,
the eight big hospital.
I'm also medical advisory board
of Mental Health Foundation of Australia.
And I have so many other role as my own Cambodia vision.
On the 18th of next month,
we do fundraising to do eye surgery,
hearing treatment for all the poor people in Cambodia
every year for free.
We're 100% volunteer.
Administration cost is zero.
That's what we're doing.
And not just that, on the 24th of August,
RSL Swimming Club going to organize gala event for me.
And ask me what I want my money to go for.
I said, go to Monash Children
because they spread out here.
Our Monash Children in the South is here.
And I donate recently as well.
Every year, because it count for living,
I'm the main person that one state pledging.
I pledged a quarter million dollars recently
for Monash Children.
Therefore, back to kindness.
Please be kind.
Everyone happy, live longer, live in harmony,
and so on and so on.
A long story about kindness, okay?
Very good reply.
Thank you.
Next question.
Yeah.
What do you think we can do
to encourage more people to be kind?
Do encourage them.
It mean you have to spread the word.
I believe in spread word of mouth.
Word of mouth, it mean you keep telling each other, okay?
If you want to be happy, you live longer, kinder.
You keep spreading, tell them, come on,
join any charity, any activity that support people.
Explicitly by support people,
you make yourself happy, the other people happy.
It mean that kindness not just yourself,
release happy chemical.
The person that you help, they release happy chemical.
And the person that saw you do act of kindness
is happy as well, release happy chemical.
If we draw your blood, definitely the four happy chemical
full in your brain.
Oxytocin, the first one, serotonin, dopamine, endorphin.
That's the most important.
Therefore, we keep easy to encourage them.
Look, you die, you can't take with you.
Why you have to be very selfish?
Why?
Loneliness kill, you know that?
Therefore, please understand what kindness all about.
Keep telling them what kindness all about.
As you understand what kindness,
make your chemical in your body changing
to the best possible way.
How you live longer, your immune system strong,
you hardly sick, you don't need doctor and pharmacist
anymore.
Well said, well said.
What is the kindest act you have received or given?
You see, 44 year, kindness, I receive a lot.
Okay, OAM, all the Australian medal
because the act of kindness, very rewarding.
I organize my charity to Cambodia,
all Cambodia vision treatment, all eye medical,
any medical condition, eye problem,
like from glaucoma to cataract and so on, so on.
Hearing problem, from death, from ear infection,
everything.
And we, the team from Australia and Sydney president
and I'm president in Melbourne,
joined together to do that.
Very rewarding you receive, you feel so emotional,
so touching, and you feel like you've done something
the best of the world.
In here, Monash Children, I can save a lot of life
because of act of kindness, my kindness.
I donate a lot last year, I donate a lot as well.
This year too, I raised 1.4 million,
this year will help.
With Monash Children, raised 1.17 million.
And 2020, I put my own money, 125,000 pledge
because the lockdown, we pledge on television.
We raised 326,000, that's make you feel happy,
that's what rewarding.
Not just that, act of kindness,
try to help people all the time.
I'm a pharmacist by trade, I have pharmacy here,
Lim Pharmacy behind me.
The act of kindness, people keep coming to take care of you,
support you, love you, you know what in return?
I want pharmacy of the year.
Just your pharmacy, Lim Pharmacy, good, it's in the video.
Yeah, I won pharmacy of year in 2013.
The farm, I won two award, with three award.
2013, among over 6,000 pharmacy,
I'm won Pharmacy Community Engagement Award.
Second one, I get farm award winner the whole country.
That act of kindness.
Because I look after the community,
I give back to my community.
Any community, not my community, any community.
Not just that.
And you help people get good deeds
and then you get rewarded.
Correct.
And I get award consecutively.
So many, from Governor of Victoria.
I receive award of Victorian Multicultural of Excellence.
And so many more award that you want
to come to my pharmacy and show.
And not just that, 1999, 20, 21,
I Australian Achievement Award three consecutive years.
Because act of kindness.
All right.
Thank you, thank you.
