I like this plant. How cool is this?
These ones are huge.
There's a lot of stairs.
And I'm very hungry.
But we're like, no, we will see everything before we go.
We will get our 40,000 dong worth.
Meanwhile, dying.
So, the Dalat Flower Garden.
Bookings are 40,000 dong per adult, 20,000 per child.
You grab a ticket here at the office, as Mitch is doing.
And then head on into the entrance.
You know, so as soon as you walk in, they ask if you want a buggy.
Not sure how much a buggy is. Oh, yeah, there you go.
150,000, I think.
I don't think the video really does justice to just how vibrantly indigo these are.
The bins are actually the cutest.
This poppy field has got to be one of my favourite things I've seen so far.
Recommendations so far.
Bring a hat or an umbrella or, and definitely sunscreen, maybe some sunglasses.
Because it's alright right now, the cloud has gone over the sun.
But there aren't a lot of trees.
It is a flower garden, so mostly shrubs, you know.
It's kind of high, so you don't really get to hide under them.
There are a lot of these little beautiful stones and signposts and music sheets littered all around the gardens.
However, I don't speak Vietnamese, so I don't know what they say.
As with the main lake in Dalat, you can also go on a swan here in this lake.
I said before that I had seen quite a few bonsais around Dalat.
And then, next minute, I'm walking into a bonsai garden.
Because it's held up by a rock.
I actually feel really sorry for that horse.
It was really beautiful when we walked past.
But she's literally just stood there this whole time, just in one place, tethered to that carriage.
There are a lot of paths in and amongst the flowers.
But I would probably not recommend wearing your best shoes ever, because I still stood in a puddle.
Because you want to get close to the flowers to take photos of them.
And around them is a path.
Oh look, more bonsai.
So many.
Like a miniature forest in a pot.
I'm not going to lie, elephants made out of plants.
Pretty cool.
I think with this place, you also have to be cognizant of the fact that sometimes some of the really pretty ones can be so hidden.
And not in a garden bed full of them, like the lavender, which was absolutely stunning.
But look at this one.
Cup of tea, governor?
Walk off, that's fine.
I don't care, I didn't want tea anyway.
It's a Sunday.
I just don't understand why it's so quiet.
It's very, very quiet.
And there's a lot of stalls that aren't open.
And yeah, there's just not many people here.
But it's a Sunday, I was kind of expecting it to be a lot more busy.
We're hiding under an umbrella.
Which isn't entirely solid, but it's better than not.
Because the sun suddenly came out and it was like...
So yeah, this is where we live now.
Say hi to our new home.
Comes with a doorbell.
Creepy?
I said freebie.
Oh, I thought you said creepy.
Oh, do you not fit under here?
Not really.
I have a new home.
I can't go in here, but then I'm out of frame.
It's incredible that these nurseries are all over the garden.
And you can buy them if you wanted to.
It's just amazing.
Because you can see the plant that it will actually become.
And then buy the little seedling, the bulbs, to grow them at home.
Amazing.
It's huge, absolutely massive.
When you compare it to these ones.
Tiny little ferns.
And then there's these ones.
These are pretty too.
Exactly gorgeous.
Yeah, we're going to have to look a little more.
Imagine if ants were actually this big.
They would mess you up.
Jamie's clearly more comfortable sitting on stairs than walking up them.
Or down them.
Honey, how do you feel about the dwarves?
They are very creepy.
Why?
Very pale.
Very pale dwarves.
Overall, it's really lovely here.
I think, um...
No, we're going this way.
Alright.
Overall, it was really lovely here.
And a really nice way to spend a couple of hours.
If you just want to take it slow.
Really easy and wander around.
You probably could knock it over.
If you wanted to just really get through it quickly.
In one of the buggies in maybe, I don't know, 20 minutes?
But if you just take it slow, you could easily spend hours here.
If you're just sitting on the seeds and taking in the sights.
So, it's a really nice place to relax.
And see some beauty in the world.
