Water they say is life. It makes up 70% of our body weight and aids in brain functioning,
regulating body temperature and also flushing out toxins. But not everybody likes the taste of plain
water with the most common reason being for the fact that it is tasteless. If you happen to be
one who finds it hard to drink plain water, detox water or infused water may be helpful. For me,
the beauty of it alone just makes me want to drink. But then of course it's going to infuse
some flavors into your drink and make it very easy for you to drink. And it is believed you
could actually get some few vitamins from it as well. So then it is a win-win situation. I'm going
to make my first drink with some citrus. So I have sliced my orange. I'm going to slice a lemon as
well. Everything has been scrubbed like very, very well washed with my vegetable wash. You can also
use vinegar. I have cut up two lemons and I'm going to add just one lime to it. Some cucumber,
mint and some strawberries for my first one. And yes, you can put any fruit or vegetable that you
like in your infused water. Whatever you think you're going to like. I just like to make a
combination that is appealing to the eye as well because some people will just drink the water
because it looks attractive or beautiful. I'm going to be serving my water today in juice
dispensers or beverage dispensers I should say. And so I'm going to transfer the cut ones in here.
So my citrus fruits and my cucumber are going in here now. I'm going to be adding some mint leaves
which I've also washed. And as I pull them off the stalk, I try to bruise them a little bit.
This way they infuse faster into the water. That is if you like mint. I love mint. Mint is believed
to also help to relieve indigestion. So the more reason you would want to add it to your infused
water. Since we always say we eat first with our eyes, I would like to believe that for a person
who doesn't like to drink, they might start drinking with their eyes if they see water that
looks desirable, beautiful, attractive. And so definitely a pop of color in your water is very,
very essential for this reason to make you feel like drinking or for whoever you are trying to
drink more to drink. So I'm going to add some strawberries. I have sliced them today. I make
them into circles. Mostly I cut them, uh, from top to the bottom. So the crown to the base or
whatever you want to call it, since it looks like a heart, you know, but today it is cut in rounds.
I'm going to add some water to this. Of course you want to use water that you would drink.
So this is coming straight from my fridge. And for that matter, it is a little bit cold as well.
You don't want your water to be warm at all when you put it on your fruit, because then it will
keep them, you know, it will make them cook a little bit, which you don't want. You want them
to stay in the water longer and not just fall apart. So you want the water to be very cold.
And I've also added some ice cubes, topping it with some more water, cover it. And that is how
simple it is. Look at how gorgeous this is done. So in my second juice dispenser, I'm going to have
ginger, peach, blueberry, mint infused water. And I'm starting off by cutting up my ginger,
which has been peeled. Ginger is also believed to be loaded with antioxidants. So definitely good
for you to include in your water. It also believed to help relieve nausea. So if you are looking for
something anti-nausea, maybe the strength is going to be good for you provided you like everything
else in here, or you can just add some ginger to other fruit and vegetable that you can tolerate
and hopefully it will help you to stay hydrated. So yes, everything here is also washed and my
peaches, as you can see, are very ripe. So it's definitely going to impart some taste into your
water. And that is the reason we are doing this after all, for those of you who find it hard to
drink plain water, which is tasteless, this might be something that you actually enjoy.
I really think this is a beautiful way to serve water. Regardless, people really enjoy having
things that look fancy at events. Even if it's just a small get together, you serve in your
water like this makes it look and feel special. It has some flavor to it and everybody just,
it's just pulled to it. And that way they are able to drink more. It is a very hot day. Actually,
whilst I'm making this, the high was like 112 degrees that day. And so of course we needed to
hydrate. It is getting dark now, but you will still be surprised to know that it is still like
100 degrees at the moment. So definitely making sure that people stay hydrated is very, very
necessary. So I've cut my peaches, added a few blueberries, about a handful of blueberries in
here as well. That basically is for pop of color. And hopefully it is, if it's able to infuse a few
of the antioxidants that blueberries are so rich in into the water, all the better. And yes, more
cold water this time, it actually has some ice in there as well, straight onto my fruit. That way,
like I said, you don't end up cooking your fruit or partially cooking them. You want them to stay
firm and beautiful all throughout whilst the water is just sitting there to be served.
I've added some ice to that as well, cover. And that is how simple it is. Everybody likes a little
bit of fancy every now and then. I love my fancy to be with how food is served or presented. And I
think you've been able to serve water like this to your friends or family at your next gathering
is going to let them see how much you really wanted them to feel special with everything.
Even as people will say ordinary water, common water, you garnish them.
But on a serious note, if decorated water or ordinary water is not going to cut it,
and you have to make decorated water for you to keep up your fluid intake,
then please go ahead and do it and forget about everything else. Thanks so much for watching.
It is seriously hot here and it is actually 99 degrees at this point. Extremely hot and making
this was a very, very wise decision. Thanks so much for watching. If this is your first time
