National Night Out 2024 @ Pomona A warm and sweet night with Pomona police officers&other vendors.

Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? Good evening Pomona! How's Pomona doing? Come on we can do better than that. Come on Pomona. Alright, hey it's always great to be out here every year for the National Night Out. Always a great turnout. I'm a little wet right now because I was in Chino playing water balloon toss and one of the officers got me over there. But it's all good. This is what it's all about, bringing the community together to celebrate National Night Out. So I want to thank you all for coming out today, supporting all members of law enforcement and the city as well. Thank all the city for helping as well. All the booths, I'm looking at all the booths from here. It's a great turnout. A lot of resources here to everybody. Make sure you check in and stop at all the booths. I also have a booth right here off to the side in case you want any state resources, just stop by. So with that said, I do have a certificate of recognition to the Pomona Police Department and I'm going to go ahead and read it. Together we are keeping our community safer. Day to today's day. Thank you again, Chief and the members of the Pomona Police Department and the city of Pomona and everybody that came out today. Thank you again. So one of the most important tasks we have as a police department is to make sure we're not only being transparent and honest in our work, but working and building the relationship with the community to the best possible relationship you can have.
