In this video I share what vegetables I am sensitive to from my latest results.
Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. I'm Maggie the substitute teacher
teaching you how I lost 65 pounds with 35 more to go
by substituting the foods that I used to love with the foods that love me back.
If you like what I'm doing, please give me a thumbs up. All right, so I'm going
over my food sensitivity results with you guys.
This video is going to be about my vegetables and again
I shared with you that I like to get tested about once a year just to find
out if there's any reason that my body might be experiencing
inflammation or not running optimally. I'm very happy to report that on this
last test there was only one item that came up as
a sensitivity for me and as you'll see here that's cucumbers.
So again with the vegetables what I eat in a day
or what I can have you can see the vegetables here and I can have them
boiled, broiled, grilled, raw, roasted or steamed.
I do a lot of pan fry with the goat butter and the
MCT oil and you guys can read here what's allowed on my plan.
Again just like the fruits you'll see here that the type of
vegetables that I eat are the ones that are low sugar and low starch so you're
not going to see carrots on here, you're not going to
see corn on here, you're not going to see
peas on here. I don't really eat those type of
vegetables. Some of the vegetables that I like of
broccoli, love brussels sprouts wrapped with bacon. Oh that's yummy.
I've done a lot with cabbage. Cauliflower is a great substitute for a lot of
starches. You can whip it up and make like a mashed potato substitute.
You guys know I love the crepini wraps. The cauliflower one actually counts as a
vegetable for me and I use that as a bread substitute when I make like
burritos. Those are great. So maybe I've been eating too many
pickles or cucumber sandwiches with tuna. I do like that
but this is telling me that I'm sensitive to it now so I'm going to
need to eliminate those from my diet. But you guys can see the rest of the
list here. Some of them I know, some of them I don't know, some of them I eat,
some of them I don't eat like sauerkraut. So anyway this is the list that I have
to work from when I'm in weight loss mode. I usually
have a protein and a couple vegetables you know for a
meal and this is working great for me. So I
just wanted to share with you guys one of the things that I'm really
excited about tomatoes and peppers. I love putting salsa on my food
especially eggs. So like I said in previous videos you
know it's taken me, this is year three, I have a goal of losing 100 pounds and I'm
losing about 30 pounds per year. So all of these substitutions are basically
working within this list of foods that my body can process well
and the weight is kind of coming off as a byproduct. So that's all we're going to
talk about in this video. I'm going to make another
video to show you guys the others. If you like what I'm doing please
consider subscribing because I eat every day.
I'll make a post for you every day. Bye for now until the next video.
