(Premier League 2024/2025): Highlights Arsenal - Wolves
Outside of the left boot,
goes it out to the answer line to Saka,
up to the corner of the penalty area.
Left-footed cross,
in-swing, he had it,
got it, it's under him.
It's Craig Havertz,
who strikes for the Gunners.
Nuri runs over him,
Belgar calls it,
and it was dipping,
but not quite dipping enough.
Dalhousie winning it back,
Jael Gomez,
now Huang,
right inside,
more promising for Wolves,
good cross in,
last attacker,
oh, what a save by David Ryan.
How has he managed to keep that out?
Listen to the home fans' reaction.
Sinchenko,
no ball in,
Rice helps it on,
Martsen,
left-hand side of the penalty area,
back onto his right foot,
shot deflected.
Rodrigo Gomez helps with it back,
Nuri's lining up a shot,
but distance is just wide.
Bit of an injury concern in pre-season as well.
Oh, now then,
Arsenal giving the ball away to Kunja,
Kunja!
Oh, straight in the goalkeeper,
from just inside the penalty area,
it was a gift,
a gift from the Gunners.
Frankie taking it quickly,
Saka,
to Erdogan to shoot,
powered away by Jose Saka,
for a corner.
Here comes Havertz,
Arsenal getting on with it quickly,
right inside the penalty area for Saka,
on his left foot,
Saka shooting,
Saka scoring.
And is that the game for the Gunners?
Nearly stole it from Timber.
Kunja has stolen it from Timber.
Arsenal's cheers have died down.
Kunja,
standing it back,
oh, what a strike by Sarabia,
and a brilliant save by David Raya.
Left-hand side of the box,
twisting and turning,
up against Ben White,
trying to stand it back towards Pedentz,
it comes to Dawson who's in the attack.
Pedentz striking in,
and it's never really set.
And it's high and wide,
and that's it.
Game over.
The new season begins with defeat
for Gary O'Neill's War Amps and Wanderers.
But not many gave them too much of a hope,
coming away to a side like Arsenal,
who have gone so close
to breaking their long wait
for a Premier League title.
