INTER-ATALANTA 4-0 | HIGHLIGHTS | Thuram nets brace in San Siro goalfest | Serie A 2024/25

Nice football from the Nerazzurri. Mkhitaryan, this is Marcus Thuram, and into score, it came off Jim City. It will go down as an own goal, but the build-up play was immaculate. And it's taken the champions just three minutes here to once again remind the rest who the best in town are. Bastoni with the long throw, flicked on by Pavard, repelled by Jim City. Pavard's won it again. Barela! Beauty! How good is that from Niccolo Barela? Samargic. He's done well there. Time and space for Zappacosta. Still Zappacosta! And Reteghi misses on the follow-up. Barela, who now releases Thuram, and on the far side, Mkhitaryan is completely free. Thuram, though, goes himself, and very nearly scored. Only the post denies him. Bastoni goes long. Too high for Pavard this time. There's Thuram! And he toe-pokes in the goal. This one is his, and it's the goal which puts the game beyond Atalanta. Calhanoglu's kept it in play. Stood up by Calhanoglu. Thuram. Mkhitaryan. Thuram is there again! He's scored again! What a remarkable start to the season this is for the Frenchman. The four minutes have been played. The four goals for Inter tell their own story. Inter 4 Atalanta 0.
