excited to finally give it a try I like using dry shampoo not just to suck up oil on your scalp maybe to refresh after a workout but I like using it on day one so although I know this absolutely works great for like post-workout refresh I want to see if it'll give me some more grit and volume on day one and for even more volume I'm going to add Crown the finishing spray because I love hold let's get started starting off on freshly washed hair I did wash my hair with one of my favorite cleansers to get a really deep clean cuz I really needed it it's the bioio scalp Revival Mega Strength dandruff relief shampoo charcoal plus aa/ BHA with ccyc acid 3% as you can see from the bottle I love this stuff and then because I wanted extra moisture I grabbed one of my favorite deep conditioners this is the bioo Do Not despair repair deep conditioning mask a top favorite for every curly girl but now let's style I'm going to be using a new little combo I recently discovered which is the Fenty hair the home curl curl defining cream mixed with the pattern Paulo Santo curled mousse we got a lot of blackowned black founded Brands going on today so let's start off with the Fenty home curl pair well with the Fenty hair jelly because that is for a slick back Styles but that's why I wanted to find home curl a new home girl and pair with the powdered mousse curl cream check now for a little extra hold let's add some mousse this formula is the same as the original pattern mousse but different scent oo it smells so good this mousse is also very light being very mindful very mindful no I'm going to do it of my fine hair so I'm going to smooth this on top and scrunch it oo look at the curls the shine already great if you follow me on Instagram you got the first look to see how diffuse using my pattern blow dryer look how cute this dryer is to have pattern right here I like that it has a permanent cool shot button so you could just push it and it'll stay on if need be it has three heat settings and two fan speeds I'm going to put it on medium heat High High fan speed focusing on the roots first that's usually the wetest part of our hair and then we're going to go down hovering over doing some slight cupping but really try not to mess up the curls in any way I love the pattern by Tracy Ellis Ross the blow dryer because it comes with four attachments where sometimes you have to pay for attachments and it gives you options no matter how you style your hair this is a curl conscious dryer that was literally made with us in mind now although this is drying nicely I'm going to sneak in a little step that I do from time to time when I just want to start off with a little more hold let's grab this Crown the finishing spray ooh a fine Mist lightweight spray that reduces frizz yes adds Shine for a light hold once hair is styled perfect finishing step in your ritual for smooth subtle polished look let's try it okay very lightness now I'm going to keep diffusing and then we'll add some more at the [Music] end as you can see the hairspray is already giving that extra height and volume now let's shake it out yes this is mandatory shaking at the roots and raising it up oh it looks like the bangs want to come back today h i can get a bobby pin so I can actually see that'd be nice and there we go instant bangs now for the popular kit that everyone's day for me my main test today is to see if I can get some extra volume so here's the before you know it's decent let's make it bigger start with one spray per section increase up to three sprays per section as needed we don't really listen to Dime size advice but let's try it lift this up that already three I already messed up in the back okay now let's shake that in it's not your typical dry shampoo to where it's dry it's actually like a wet spray so this is very unique let's see how it Compares oh we're already getting there all right I messed up my bobby pins let me do this as my last step while I shake whoa wait I was not expecting this much volume off of just one pump per side do you see this okay my hair decided it wanted to go back to the middle part but this is day one hair dry shampoo I was going like this I'm shaking dry shampoo is the secret to getting that that day one kind of like grit at your root volume if you have fine hair what a great little combo that was with the hairspray before I guess I could put a little bit more on top but I kind of don't need it wow wow wow so this is not you know the cheapest product I will tell you that but you really do get your money's worth if you're able to get one these results and also only be able to use like one pump and that's all you need so it seems like a little will go a long way now it really is good as is but just to be extra because I am let's grab a little bit more of the Crown Affair the finishing spray just to set it all in place no white cast from the dry shampoo that's good this stuff smells good
