Day 9 of the Blue Ridge Parkway trip updates from the road.
The final day of the trip starts off with some great riding and ends with hunting down some of The Walking Dead filming locations.
What a great trip! Thanks for watching and coming along. Make sure to check out all the daily updates from the trip and subscribe so you’re notified when the ride videos from the trip are posted.
I've also found out that the bridge I went to in this video is a location in Season 9 of The Walking Dead too.

Last day of Blue Ridge Parkway trip starts right now on Motor Travel USA.
It's about six o'clock in the morning here
on the last day headed to the last location.
Some guy just scared the crap out of me. I was packing up the bike
and zoning and he just walks up behind me and says
good morning, waking up pretty quickly. I'm gonna get on the road
and get to the first stop. See you there. Another wonderful morning on this trip
cutting through the Great Smoky Mountains National Forest
on a great windy road up and down the mountain.
Hardly anybody on the road. Amazing start to the day.
I'll see you at the next stop. And back to the start of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Should I do it again? I'd love to. I'd love to do it again.
It would be cool to go again but I gotta get home.
And one last stop today. See you there. Made it to White Birch Provisions.
Let's go in and check out the food and drink.
So they have little tables outside. A muffin
and a cappuccino. That was a good cup of cappuccino.
It was a little mild espresso. It had a good flavor.
And the berry muffin, anything with that much sugar
is bound to be good and it was. Gotta change the battery and
memory card on the GoPro and get ready for the next stop.
So made it to my next stop, Senoia, Georgia.
Or better known as Woodbury. It was Woodbury in past seasons.
Gonna go eat at the Senoia Coffee and Cafe. Let's go inside and check it out.
Looks like they do a bunch of tours down here too.
There's a guy talking over there. Just telling people what's going on.
Well that was definitely cool seeing it in person. Let me go see if I can get
into Alexandria. Yeah so those are the walls of
Alexandria right there. And a windmill. Here's a little closer
and you can see the wall. Pretty cool. They definitely have all these
private property signs posted. They're gonna get you if you come.
I wonder if that's one of the entrances right there.
It's almost like directly across the street. That's the town right there.
So I don't know if they're filming or they just have it closed off so people
like me can't go down. But a lot of the roads are blocked so I'm
parked here in this shopping center or something.
I'm gonna go see if I can shoot down. Looks like the main entrance of
Alexandria. Let's go check it out. Yeah that totally
looks like the entrance. They have it closed off. So they have all
the roads locked down into the homes and I want to be
respectful. So I'm not going there. But here's another perspective of the
windmill. Looks like it's one of the entrances.
A big truck here. I wonder if they rebuild this every year.
They film and everything. It's a pretty substantial set.
Little pig, little pig, let me in. This is as close as I could get. So since
Alexandria was a semi bust, I'm driving around Georgia trying to
find other locations where they filmed. And I'm in a little town. I don't even
know the name of this town I'm in. But they did a couple scenes on this
street. Yeah this building totally looks
familiar to me. I'm not exactly sure how it fit in. But that color in those
windows. It's still near the same alleyway. There
was an explosion. Daryl set off an explosion around this
area. Around here is where the
Rick and Negan crashed. And down the street a bit
from where that stuff happened is where they put the trip wire up.
In this area Rick also chases Negan. And up on this bridge a couple of them
wait. I got it. I continue on. Here's the water
tower. Okay so Google thinks I have an
adventure bike or something sending me down this dirt road.
Crossing fingers. Okay so now I see why he brought me down the
dirt road. That's the only way to get to this location.
This is a bridge that Daryl in season three came across
and found other survivors fighting walkers.
And he decided to help them out. It's in the middle of nowhere.
I'm gonna move on to the next location. Wish me luck on this road.
I made it through that road. Thank god it didn't rain.
And hopefully I don't have to go back that way.
But it was a beautiful ride through farmland and horse
branches. But I took it slow. All right off to the next stop. And here's a
barn they came across during a supply run. I'm also in the
middle of nowhere and have a low gas warning.
Should be good though. FJR keeps out with about 50 miles to go.
See you at the gas stop. And this is where Rick and Daryl run into Jesus.
Your pick. Says you didn't have a camp. You on your road? The zombie apocalypse
isn't here yet. It's actually still open and I got myself a green
Gatorade. Yeah pretty cool.
