美國專利局證實,自2010年以來,中國從美國政府資助的研究計劃中取得超過1000項美國技術專利。美國國會議員指出,美國納稅人在無意中、資助中國實體專利,實在令人感到震驚。

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission confirmed that since 2010, China has obtained more than 1,000 U.S. technical patents from U.S. government-funded research projects.
U.S. Congressmen pointed out that the U.S. taxpayer accidentally funded Chinese physical patents, which is really shocking.
According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,
since 2010, the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. National Aeronautics Agency and other government-funded research projects
have provided more than 1,000 U.S. patents to Chinese inventors, including biotechnology and semiconductor.
In addition, the U.S. Department of Defense has funded about 92 patents, and the U.S. Department of Energy has funded 175 patents.
The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Agency has funded four patents.
The U.S. Department of Health and Public Services has funded more than 356 related patents, which is the largest number among all government agencies.
The U.S. relevant patent law is actually open to the world.
At the same time, the U.S. government's consideration is that the U.S. government may choose the non-sensitive part,
which is to allow the U.S. government to invest funds to accelerate the development.
If the U.S. government can generate commercial interests after these patents are developed,
then there will be investors and patent holders who can share the commercial results.
Therefore, the U.S. government's funding is not to fund the CCP,
but to make sure that this issue does not affect national security.
The U.S. government will then evaluate the investment and joint development.
According to the report, these patents cover semiconductor, molecular chemistry and polymer, chemical engineering, nanotechnology and medical technology.
In June this year, the U.S. China Affairs Committee asked the U.S. Secretary of State
whether the U.S. government's funding has brought technological breakthroughs to China,
and emphasized the risk of renewing the agreement.
The U.S. State Department, which is responsible for renegotiating the U.S.-China technology agreement,
said it is still communicating with China on the agreement.
The State Department spokesman said the U.S. will continue to work to promote and protect the interests of the U.S. in the field of technology.
The U.S.-China technology agreement is an agreement between the U.S. and the People's Republic of China,
which laid the foundation for the rapid development of academic and commercial exchanges between the U.S. and China.
At the time, China was lagging behind in technology.
The U.S. had seen the agreement as a way to influence China's development trajectory.
The U.S. has made great contributions to China, especially to Taiwan.
This is all based on a positive starting point to help China improve its economy and people's lives.
In the future, China may make political adjustments.
It is a pity that the CCP misused this kind of trust.
U.S. House of Representatives China Committee Chairman, Republican Senator John Muellner
said in an email to Reuters that the U.S. taxpayer
accidentally funded more than 1,000 Chinese entities.
The Department of Defense alone funded about 100 of them.
This is really shocking.
The U.S. government used U.S. money to help China develop its high-tech capabilities and challenge the U.S. to threaten China.
In 2023, the U.S. and China reluctantly extended the U.S.-China technology agreement for four months.
In February this year, the U.S. reluctantly extended the agreement for another six months.
Due to the expiration of the agreement, the two sides are currently trying to renegotiate the agreement.
