Say goodbye sweaty, it's time to discover the top classic fall and winter fashion trends.
In today's video, I'm excited to share the top trends for the upcoming fall and winter.
As always, when I create these trend videos, especially for fall and winter,
I often approach them with a focus on longevity for your wardrobe.
So, while these trends are undoubtedly popular and on-trend,
they're also rooted in timeless style and versatility.
If your wardrobe is also starting to feel a bit tired, keep watching to get more fresh inspiration.
So what's on the fashion menu?
The first clothing trend I want to highlight is fitted blazers with cinched waists that
create an hourglass shape. In recent years, we've seen a rise in modern classic blazers,
with slightly oversized fits, featuring beautiful materials and patterns,
while those remain relevant and can still be worn.
There's definitely a shift back towards fitted silhouettes. I think the reason may be that
polished suiting that hugs your figure in all the right places, or edgy, or armor-inspired
blazers show off every angle, add a powerful twist to your wardrobe, and make a statement.
I think these pieces are all about power dressing with a feminine touch.
Next, let's talk about the most alluring trend in fall-winter,
at least in the eyes of the glamour style team, is English countryside chic.
Countryside chic is making a strong statement for this fall-winter,
bringing the elegance of the English countryside to urban fashion.
We're seeing these trends in beautiful tweed, gorgeous plaids,
and things that just make you think of the kind of equestrian energy.
It's a timeless aesthetic that I'm so excited to see making a comeback.
It's a very fall-centric, classic look that includes plaid-tailored blazers,
with leggings and taller boots.
I love the way they highlight how you can be both timeless and fashionable.
It's like you go to a country house at the weekend, every autumn,
especially one in the English countryside.
As you can see, checked coats, tailored blazers, slim pants,
plaid-on plaid outfits, earthy tones of walnut and khaki, and tall boots,
perfectly capture this trend.
Whether you're going full-on checkered, or just mixing patterns and textures,
countryside chic is about bringing rustic elegance into the city or countryside.
If you've struggled to find these pieces in recent years,
now is the time to give it a try this season.
The next clothing trend for fall-winter I want to highlight is vintage denim,
especially inked denim.
This season's denim is taking a darker turn this season,
with deep inky blue hues dominating the runways.
As you can see, the moodier the denim, the more impactive the look.
This trend is all about turning up the intensity and attitude of your denim,
with a nostalgic twist.
And I love elevating this trend with denim-on-denim outfits,
and western-inspired pieces.
They really have a modern take on this classic look,
which makes me think of designers like Ralph Lauren.
No matter how often denim trends change,
the ones that France and New York-based women always come back to
are classic vintage or vintage-inspired jeans.
Once you have the perfect pair, you never really need any other jeans,
which is probably why residents in both locations are so loyal to this style.
The next clothing trend for fall-winter I want to highlight is it's all about the coat.
This trend isn't just highlighting classic styles,
it's also introducing innovative takes on outerwear.
Designers are pushing the boundaries of outerwear design,
offering a wide range of styles that combine warmth with high-end fashion.
This season proves that the right coat can elevate any outfit,
making it an essential investment piece as the temperature drops.
While wearing a long trench coat with trousers and ballet flats creates luxury and elegance,
the combination with jeans will bring a youthful spirit to the fall and winter.
Besides the usual cashmere or gabardine materials,
leather and fox fur are luxurious fabrics having a moment this season,
bringing high-end touch with blending glamour with practicality.
Classic black, chocolate brown,
olive green or burgundy colours are the ideal options for this season.
I think a great coat is an investment you'll never regret for a timeless wardrobe.
Besides coats, jackets are also having a big moment right now.
It's another classic item that you can incorporate into your wardrobe to feel stylish and on-trend,
while also enjoying it for many years to come.
When styling with coats, you should keep you warm and fashionable with a few more layers.
This layered look is particularly versatile for those who want to make a statement while staying
warm. It's perfect for chilly fall mornings or adding a stylish layer of warmth to your
evening outfits. You can keep it simple with neutral tones and classic patterns,
or go bold with vibrant colours and prints. And if you're worried about looking bulky,
focus on proportions, pair an oversized scarf with a fitted coat or a chunky knit with tailored
trousers. Whether you're adding layers for warmth or style, this trend allows you to stay cozy
without sacrificing your fashion credentials. The next elegant trend I want to highlight
is the full skirts, or column skirts. It's making a chic comeback for this fall and winter,
replacing the red tight last year. This season, the full skirt isn't just about
structured classic silhouettes. It also comes with a modern twist, bringing fluidity and
versatility that really works with everything in the fall-winter, from hoodies to tailored jackets
or coats. As you can see, designers have embraced this elegant shape, offering a variety of styles,
from sleek, ultra-minimalist creations that exude quiet luxury to richly detailed designs.
I loved white full skirt in the summer, because it's so easy to mix and match,
and now that transitions into fall with similar cuts, but transitioning into those richer,
deeper tones, like black and autumnal hues to pair beautifully with the other trends this season,
like burgundy or cherry cola. The beauty of this trend is its ability to be effortless to blend
classic charm and contemporary cool, and it really a must-have in our wardrobes to wear
season after season. The next clothing trend I want to highlight is cigarette-style trousers,
or slim pants. Over the last few years, oversized pants have been a major trend,
and that's definitely continuing into fall, but now, we're also seeing a push towards a
more fitted, straight silhouette. Especially when you want to wear boots with everything,
it creates a chic look, and pairs beautifully with so many items you likely already own these
pants look great with tailored blazers and sweaters. It's a versatile, timeless style
that can easily work well in any wardrobe. The next clothing trend for fall-winter I want to
highlight is fall and winter knits, especially cardigan and high-neck knits. The humble cardigan
has undergone a significant transformation, becoming a style staple this season. Designers
are merging cozy with chic, creating knitwear that's not only comfortable but also luxurious
and versatile. Cardigans are proving that they can be both warm and stylish. It's also perfect
for layering or standing alone as a stable piece. Similarly, roll-neck knits are stepping out from
their usual roll-as-background layers. With chunkier necklines, bold colors, and details
like zips, they're adding drama and sophistication to every outfit. Moreover, higher necklines,
like turtlenecks, are also a trend for cool-girl style, with hair tucked in, covering the chin,
mysterious cute, and so cozy. This season, comfort and style are coexisting beautifully
with a modern twist, and I really love it. Tying into that English countryside chic, we're seeing
everywhere. Tall boots are a major trend this season. With gorgeous variations in style, tall
boots are an annual necessity, and you can't go wrong with any style, especially in the fall-winter.
We're seeing not only classic riding boots but also sleek, minimalist designs that are reminiscent
of back-to-90s minimalism, western flair, Barry Rachel green. Very New York in the 90s, I often
prefer these boots that come in classic colors, like black-brown and rich burgundy, and trust me,
they are incredibly versatile. A well-fitting boot in one of these timeless colors is the ideal
option for the fall-winter, and can be worn with skirts, pants, jeans, and dresses for many years
to come. Instead of suede over-the-knee boots, you can look for blocky leather boots that hit below
the knee. I often style these boots with everything from full skirts to straight-legged jeans. I think
it's not a bad investment, right? Now, let's talk about color trends for the season. We're talking
about deep luxurious tones of berry, coffee, and chestnut, offering a richer evolution of summer's
vibrant red, which you can still wear into fall. Burgundy red always brings a feeling of warmth.
Power and charm for any outfit, this is the perfect color for those who want to stand out and
leave a deep impression. Burgundy color, or rich deep cherry red, is also one of my favorite colors
in the fall-winter. It also applies to all the clothing and accessories. Especially in shoes and
bags, I love burgundy in shoes bags, and they are becoming a key statement piece, adding a polished
touch to any outfit, while aligning perfectly with the quiet luxury aesthetic. It's such a timeless
shade, reminiscent of Cartier and other heritage brands. These rich hues are the perfect way to add
a touch of sophistication into your fall and winter wardrobe, and it pairs beautifully with many colors
you likely already own in your wardrobe. I think it's not a bad investment, right? Next, let's talk
about chocolate brown. Brown is always one of the main colors of fall-winter, and this year is no
exception. It's such a beautiful, versatile tone, with a feeling of intimacy, rustic but no less
luxurious. However, brown can be a bit tricky to combine. Similar to camel, but once you find your
perfect brown, it's incredibly versatile, and pairs well with so many other colors in your wardrobe.
Dark brown like coffee, chocolate, or earth brown is often used in outfits such as jackets, leather
shoes, or handbags. Creating a classic yet modern style, I really really love chocolate brown, and it
pairs beautifully with off-white, cream beige, navy, and many of the colors I wear frequently. Next, let's
talk about olive green, or khaki. In a warm earthy hue, the olive green color trend is one of the easiest
new season shades to get into, regardless of your style. With understated charm and elegance, olive
green effortlessly pairs beautifully with many colors and neutrals you probably already have in
your wardrobe. It pairs seamlessly with neutral tones, such as black and gray for a minimalist
wardrobe, but it truly shines when paired with shades like buttery yellows, bright whites, or cool
cream shades. These combinations add some dimension to your transyacillin looks, while remaining a
polished look. Moreover, earthy clay green is worth trying on this season. From the stylish streets of
Copenhagen to the fashion-forward avenues of Paris, clay green has become a popular color among fashion
enthusiasts recently. This shade exudes a sense of timelessness and refinement. More importantly, it
feels very calming and natural. It is deeply rooted in nature, and similar to the feeling of grounding
your feet in the grass. Finally, let's talk about gray. That's a color we're seeing a lot recently.
While gray is a classic neutral color, it's been particularly popular over the last few years,
and this season, it's everywhere. Gray is a classic and sophisticated color, often used in office
outfits or formal occasions. Gray is easy to combine with many different tones, from bright colors like
white and beige to dark colors like black or navy blue. Gray outfits always bring elegance, maturity,
and elegance to any outfits. I love the monochromatic gray outfits we're seeing now, especially when
paired with burgundy accents. They're so chic and stylish. And there you have it, the top fall fashion
trends for this season. I'd love to hear in the comments which trends you're particularly loving.
