McLaren 720S vs 850HP Supercharged Lamborghini Huracan Performante 1/4 Mile Drag Racing

Hey everybody, Brooks from DragTimes here. I'm packing up the McLaren 720S and heading up to the raceway. There's an Accel rental where I got a Performante Supercharged, which you saw us race in the half mile. We're going to do it from a dig in the quarter mile. We got a GT2RS coming, GT3RS, and a bunch of other cars coming out the rental, so I'm going to pack up the McLaren 720S now, head up to the raceway, and let's see what kind of races we can put together. Here's the McLaren 720S. Let's pop the bonnet here. You can see we got tons of space in here. Probably the most versatile supercar we got. I'm going to pack up all the gear. We got camera gear. My garage is a mess because I've been swapping a lot of tires. There's the Ford GT looking pretty sweet over here. But I'm pretty tired. I'm going to go ahead and go inside and grab an energy drink, pack up the car, and then head out. Alright, let's see what we got here. What the? Alright, so that's a wrap of the McLaren 720S and the Supercharged Performante. You saw us race at the Half Mile event a few weeks ago and it was a little bit closer because on that start with the uneven or the unprepped surface, the all-wheel drive of the Huracan really helped out get in front of the McLaren 720S, but on a prepped drag strip, oddly enough, the McLaren has an advantage with the Toyo tires in the back. The Performante with the all-wheel drive and all the instant torque that comes on, when it hits traction control, it just kind of stumbles, so the launch control is actually pretty finicky and hard to get just right, but when you do get it right, man, the thing comes off and runs nines really well. That being said, I'm going to show at the end of the clip a Supercharged two-wheel drive Huracan that was running at the track and this thing with its rear-wheel drive and it also had Toyo tires in the back, was coming off the line really strong at the drag strip, hitting 1.4860 footers and it was just amazing, it was really, really awesome, coming off the line really hard. However, on the top end, it started to drop off and I don't think it got into the nines, I think it was like a 10 flat, so I don't know, maybe with the 85 mix on the rear-wheel drive Huracan with the slicks, we could see some mid-nine second times of the rear-wheel drive until they get the launch worked out with the all-wheel drive.
