Highlights: RKC Waalwijk - AZ | Eredivisie 2024/2025

The zebra outfit of AZ, the famous yellow-blue at RKC Waalwijk. Played four rounds in the Eredivisie. He's still waiting for his first goal. AZ hasn't really made a shot yet anyway. Only made two goals. But also nothing scored yet. RKC also made two, but already got nine against it. He played 44 matches in the Eredivisie for RKC. Maarten Martens scored eight times. It only became 2-1 for Groningen. Way too strong. Here is Mijnands. He passes it to Maikouma. AZ's first goal. Passed by Maikouma. The parrot slipped too late. Deep ball from Goes. Sadiq. The flag still stays down. It has to go to Van Bommel. It goes to Van Bommel. And the post prevents AZ's hitter. A hitter who should have fallen. Not a polished attack, but just one deep ball. And suddenly it's all open in the back of RKC. Way too late, stepped by Meijers. And then Sadiq keeps a good overview. He actually puts it down perfectly. But Van Bommel is simply inaccurate from very close. Head injury. And so Dieperdingk stops the game for a moment. And there is also a card for Niemeyer. No effort. AZ. Well, hard. Mijnands. It seems out of the game for Parrot. But it can still go a little further. And then he gets it in. But then the flag goes up. And to Parrot's reaction. You can actually already warn that he had heard that himself. Of course, there is a wait with flags. Goes. Parrot. Well released. Hard on the goal. And that's just enough. Maekuma. Ball to Parrot. Other corner. Same result. No goal for AZ. No goal for Parrot. Who now has the right leg for his favorite. Parrot. Mijnands. Sadiq. Van Bommel for the goal. That combination again. And now it's a hit for AZ. Via Ruben van Bommel. The lead that was expected given the game. And here Houwen of course has no answer. Recorded in the selection of Jong Oranje. And now also his first goal of the season. Ruben van Bommel. The audience of RKC chants the name of Michiel Kramer. Van Bommel. Beautifully sent away. Ball. Or just past. Simple. 2-0 for AZ. And the compliments also go out to Jordi Clasie. And what does he easily walk away with at Lelyveld. Really in no way to confess. The right back of RKC. There still has to be something happening. The pass must be perfect. That's step 1. The reception must be good. Step 2. And the finish is step 3. The call for Kramer. Just stick to the fans of RKC. Will Michiel Kramer make the difference in this match? AZ can reach a club record. Yes, this is already very fast. 8 seconds. And he has yellow to catch, Michiel Kramer. The controversy is never far away. With Michiel Kramer in the lines. Just over Maekoen. But this is just red. This is just red. If you don't give a red card for this. And this can go on. Van Bommel. Pass to Muller-Wolfen. And there it is. No 3-0. Because that ball is taken close to the line by Van den Buijs. Closer to a hitter. You can hardly get there. Last year RKC also lost the first three matches. Even the first four. It all ended up well. After the interland break. Here is Sadik. Back to Mijnands. Choosing a corner. And then shot wildly. That is a weak finish for Sven Mijnands. Maekoen. Sadik. Can one-on-one with Van den Buijs. It is completely open in the back of RKC. Sadik. Again to Mijnands. Now a little more focused. Well, actually not really either. Second good shot. Less than time for Sven Mijnands. But his vision leaves him in a ditch. Kramer. Kramer divides again. How is Dieperink going to assess this? Yes, this is just a tap in the face again. He knows where Koop Mijnands is. If Van der Laan is smart, he says that he thinks this card is worth red. Then Dieperink must go and see. Indeed. But Kramer seems to have seen. And that should have happened after nine goals. He walks to the side, Michiel Kramer. And gets red right away. A tumultuous week for Michiel Kramer. Ends in a remarkable way. Meerdink. Pass to Sadik. For the goal. Neighbor at the second post. Adai. Lazi picks up. Adai. Towards Meerdink. Not quite nicely touched. But gone is gone. Casius. Meerdink. And there it is. 3-0 for AZ. And he has his first Eredivisie goal. Nice moment for the young Max Meerdink. You see the relief. He apparently hit it against it for a while. Well rounded off with the head. By Max Meerdink. Klaasie. Neighbor left. There's an extra Christmas in it. Extra Christmas on the cake. Sadik. He has a lot of Christmas in mind, Meerdink. What a goal. You do that with confidence. RKC AZ ends in 0-3. The class difference was huge. A lot of work at the store for Henk Fraser. In the sports field. And also to help his top a little mentally. After a particularly strange week.
