Hi, my name is Gianna Mosseri and in 2016 I had a near-death experience.
My near-death experience started a few days leading up to my car accident.
It started by there being a lot of signs warning me to not drive my car.
So for example, I got in the car and my key broke off in the ignition.
That was one of the first signs.
And then I got a flat tire right outside of my home pulling in.
And so all of these signs were kind of warning me in a way to not be driving.
And I was driving a lot at the time on this one freeway back and forth
and I just had a feeling that something may happen.
So these signs were warning me but I wasn't listening because I was busy.
A busy human being living my life and not expecting something really traumatic
to happen from it.
The day of the accident I woke up with a pit in my stomach.
I just knew that something didn't feel right.
I had a bad feeling like something was gonna happen.
And then I started to go into a really dark, depressed place.
I started feeling really, really unworthy in the world.
I started feeling really depressed.
I remember falling to my knees on my bedroom floor,
just crying and asking God and my angels,
why can't I just love myself?
Why don't I love my body?
Why am I so mean to myself?
And I remember sending my sister messages even that day,
just letting her know that I wasn't feeling good about something
and that I had a bad feeling.
I told her that I don't want to be here on earth anymore.
It's just too hard to be a human.
There were so many things in my life that were just so overwhelming.
At the time I was so busy and overwhelmed with just life
and I actually wrote the words to her,
I don't want to be here anymore and I want to just be with my angels.
And that night I was hit by a drunk driver driving the wrong way on the freeway.
When I woke up in my car, I realized that I was blocking the four freeways
of the four lanes of the freeway that I was heading home on
and I looked out of my car and saw lights for miles
and I looked in my car and just saw that the whole thing was a complete wreck
and I realized that the car heading towards me had actually hit me.
And in this moment, I remember this being a part of my plan.
I remember planning this.
I remember this being a part of my life.
It was meant to happen.
And that's why I think I could feel those feelings that day leading up to it.
And when all these thoughts were going through,
I just remember looking at the front of my car burning in massive flames
and I thought to myself, I'm going to die.
This is how I die.
I'm just going to die burning in flames in my car.
And as soon as I had that thought, I was pulled up into a really beautiful safe space.
It felt like my higher self space.
And I heard a voice say to me, no, you're not.
You're going to get out of this and you're going to make it safe.
And what I saw was a visual of me getting out of the car safely.
They showed me like being taken out of my car safely by the emergency team,
being placed on the stretcher and taken to the emergency room.
But then the flames would go up and then I would come back down
into my physical body and go back into the fear.
Oh my God, I'm going to die.
This is how I die.
And it would continue to bring me back up to that safe space where everything felt safe and okay.
And again, the voice, you're going to be okay.
You're going to get out of this.
And so I trusted.
I trusted and I sat and I waited for an hour
till the ambulance got me out and put me on the stretcher and took me to the ICU
just as my visions had showed me.
When I got to the ICU, I was placed in an induced coma for a week.
And this is when my really profound near-death experience or NDE started to happen.
And I found myself in the Venetian canals, like in Italy, in Venice.
And it's a place that I actually have been multiple times in my life.
I used to work on a cruise ship.
So we sailed through there and I knew the canals really well.
Again, that probably felt like a really safe place to me.
That's why that's where I went.
And so I found myself in these canals.
I knew I had been in a really bad car accident
and I remember seeing parts of my mangled body in the car.
So I knew that my body was really injured back on earth.
I didn't understand the extent of it at that point, but I knew it was bad.
So in this place, in the Venetian canals,
I started to take advantage of my very abled body.
I could walk.
I started to run.
I started doing handstands because I knew that when I go back or whenever that was,
that I may not be able to do these things for a long time.
Maybe I did not understand the extent of the injuries in my body at the time, like I said.
So I took advantage of being this able-bodied and was having fun in this space.
It was beautiful.
I would walk for miles along these canals and it all felt so familiar to me.
All of a sudden I was taken up again.
I was pulled up.
The energy was like pulling me up towards what felt like to me the cosmos.
So as I rose up into this cosmos, which looked like the sky,
even at nighttime, stars everywhere,
I actually started to lose my physical body and become just a light.
I was just this flickering light in this amazing cosmos.
It was like vast.
Again, it felt like the sky at nighttime and there are stars everywhere and I was just a light.
And in this space, I didn't feel a body.
I didn't feel pain.
I didn't know that I was in pain.
I just felt so light and beautiful.
It was a really beautiful freeing feeling.
And as I flickered around, I started to see these other lights come towards me.
So they started out as tiny little stars.
As they got closer, they got bigger and bigger and bigger until they were massive lights.
And there were seven of these lights.
As they got bigger and bigger and bigger, they started to form their shape.
And then I realized that they were here for me and I realized that they were angels.
Their wings started to form and they were massive.
They were ginormous beings with these beautiful wings.
There were five of them in front of me and there were two that were next to me.
As I started to tune into them and visually see them, they had like armor on, like ancient armor,
like knights or soldiers, but they had their wings.
So they were angels or angel knights.
And I asked them who they were and what they were doing here.
The angel on my right hand side introduced himself to me as Archangel Michael.
And I'm familiar with Archangel Michael.
Years prior to this, I had a vision when I was going through a really challenging time in my life.
And I had a vision of Archangel Michael coming down and placing his hand on my head
and saying to me, everything's going to be okay.
I'm here to protect you.
And that was it.
Then he vanished.
And that memory stayed with me for years, but I didn't quite understand it.
In the moment where Archangel Michael introduced himself to me, I knew exactly who he was.
And I realized what his message meant.
It was all about this accident.
He explained to me that he has been with me, watching over me for a while now.
And he was protecting me throughout this car accident.
And I was so grateful.
And then the angel on my left side, I didn't recognize, I wasn't as familiar,
but he introduced himself as Archangel Raphael.
And again, I was not too familiar.
I may have heard the names and that previously,
but I wasn't familiar with this angel in my life or my surroundings.
And he explained to me that he is here for this time in my life,
that he is here to help my body heal.
He's here to help my heart heal.
He's here to help the healing of my family as well.
And these two angels were going to be by my side through this.
That's what I understood.
The other five angels that were before me didn't seem to have a name.
They didn't introduce themselves.
But what I understood from them was that they were my guardians
and that they had been with me my whole entire life.
Ever since I was born, they explained to me that
they were with me in the planning of this lifetime.
So what they kind of showed me was like almost like a drawing board of us
kind of getting together before I came into this lifetime,
before I came into this body and we planned everything together.
And part of the plan was this accident,
which was still a little confusing to me at the time,
why I planned an accident or why that would happen.
It wasn't until later on, years later even,
why I started to understand that.
But this was all part of the plan.
And when I was in the car, I did remember that piece of it.
And so I asked them what I was doing here.
Why are we here?
And what they explained to me,
I have to say there was no words in this place
between these beings or these angels.
There was just kind of feelings.
So it wasn't like we're speaking to each other
in the words that we speak here on earth or as humans.
It was a language that we just understood.
And I put my hands on my belly when I say that,
because for me, it feels like we were communicating
almost throughout our feelings, through our bellies in a way.
It was like all I had to do is think of what I wanted to say.
And they knew exactly what I was sharing
or what I was saying.
And I felt the same from them.
It was a really beautiful divine conversation
that needed no words,
but was like a really beautiful understanding.
And they had explained to me that
this was kind of an in-between space, if you will.
And in this in-between space,
I would have time and a choice to decide
if I wanted to go back to my body on earth
or if I wanted to continue on from this space,
which would mean not going back to my life or to my body.
And this felt like a really big decision for me to make.
And they could tell that this was a big decision for me.
So what would happen here is
they would send me back down to the canals,
back down to my Venetian canals.
And this would be my time to ponder,
to walk the canals to decide
if I wanted to go back to my body on earth or not.
So they sent me back down
and I started to walk the canals
and it was so beautiful and peaceful there.
And again, every now and then
I would do the odd handstand or cartwheel
because I knew I wouldn't be able to do that
if I went back to my body.
So I just kept doing like fun things.
I was doing a yoga teacher training at the time.
So I'd find myself in like warrior poses
and just like really funny things
that I remember doing with my body there.
And as I would walk these canals,
like it would feel like I would get to a dead end,
but it wasn't.
It would just open up for me magically
and I would be able to walk for miles and miles.
And there was music there.
There was like a beautiful symphony
of what sounded like violins to me.
And whenever I would start to go into feeling like,
maybe I shouldn't go back to my body.
Life was really hard.
The symphony of violins would become really,
really loud and really intense.
And the light would kind of dim a little bit.
And then when I was really, really, really excited
and was like, no, I wanna go back.
I'm gonna go back.
The light would come back up and shine
and the symphony of music would change
into a different harmonious vibration
that I could feel from the music happening.
And so it was almost like the music
and the light was dictating how my feelings
were expressing themselves at the time.
So it was like, I'd go into fear.
I would go back into light.
And while this was happening,
it felt like to me, like a review of my life.
So it almost like felt like a movie
where they were showing me different scenes of my life.
And in these scenes, they were showing me times
where I had neglected myself.
Times where I wasn't loving myself.
Times where I put everything else before my own needs
and just how much that was affecting me
in my life to be living this way.
And they showed me things that I thought were good
and bad or right and wrong
and decisions that I had made
and flashes of my life before me.
Flashes of my family in front of me.
And really letting me know that all of it was a gift.
All of it was exactly how it was meant to be.
Or especially the times where I thought
I had done something wrong
or the times where I thought I was bad
or any of that.
They showed me that we needed this.
We needed the contrast of these feelings
and these emotions here on earth to be a human.
That's what it's all about
is the feeling and the expression.
And that none of it was wrong.
None of it was right.
There was no right or wrong.
There just was like life
and us experiencing it to its depths
and to its highs and to its lows.
And that this has to happen
in order to be a human.
To be in this life and just the beauty of it all.
Even the sadness.
And being able to see things from this perspective
was so beautiful
because it gave me so much compassion for myself
and so much compassion for other people as well.
And really understanding that
we really don't know what anyone's going through in life.
We just are all human beings having this human experience.
None of it is right or wrong or good or bad.
It just is life and beauty.
And I got to really witness all of it.
I still had questions though.
And so the times where I had questions
or the times where it was getting really intense,
really heavy, really dark.
The lights were dimming.
The music was like really intense.
Violin playing.
They would pull me back up to them.
So they would pull me back up to the cosmos.
And they knew that I had questions.
And I had a lot of questions.
So my main questions are like,
what will happen if I don't go back?
And what they showed me or explained to me
was if you don't go back,
your work here on Earth is not really complete.
So what will happen is it will be kind of like a reset.
You'll start again.
You'll reincarnate into a new life,
into a new body,
into a new set of parents, rules, family.
It's like replanning again into another lifetime.
So it wasn't like I was going to stay
in this beautiful place with them
that was peaceful and pain-free.
It was like, no, your purpose is not complete here.
So you will reset and live that again in a way,
but in a different body, different life, reincarnation.
And so that was that.
Well, what happens if I stay?
What happens if I do go back to my body?
And what they explained to me
was that I did have purpose here on this Earth,
and it wasn't quite complete.
And that through this accident,
that I would be able to help other people
who may have experienced any type of pain
or trauma like this.
So they encouraged me that if I did go back,
that I would help many people through my story
and that I would be able to heal.
And they explained to me that they were going to be there
and they were going to help me to heal my body.
They're going to help me to heal my heart
and they were going to be there to support me
and protect me.
So they encouraged me at this time that if I went back,
I would have all of the support that I needed
and on all levels, all of the love that I needed,
all of the financial needs that I may need through this
will be supported.
All of the right people would come into my life
and help me and that I would be loved.
And so I went back down to the canals
and I remember taking maybe my final handstands
and yoga postures.
And then I just remember waking up in the ICU
and my family standing around my hospital bed
and all of the medical team and nurses that were there
to just waiting for me to help and support.
And I remember looking down at my body
and just realizing how injured I was
and obviously feeling really sad about that
and not being able to like feel my legs or move.
But I also remember feeling so elated,
like the most immense joy that I could have ever felt.
And it was truly such a beautiful feeling
to just wake up and to know
that I was gonna be able to get through this.
And the thing that made me feel so happy and so joyful,
truly was the part of being able to help others
through this kind of trauma.
At first I had to heal my body.
I had to heal myself.
And that was a process that took time.
But what I truly know that my purpose is now
is to be able to be that beacon of light,
to help other people who have experienced
or come into a near death experience
where we know we're not alone.
And we're not alone here on earth,
but we're also not alone behind the scenes.
There are our angels and our guides
that are working with us.
And it is safe to feel our feelings.
What the lessons were from all of this for me,
personally, my own personal journey
was to come into a place of truly loving myself
and truly loving my body and appreciating myself.
All of the gifts that I had before this accident
and all of the gifts that were gonna come
from this accident.
And I really am so grateful for that experience
in my life right now.
I wouldn't change a thing because what I gained from that
and what I learned from this experience was so profound
that it has helped me gain so much compassion
for other people in this world
and to be able to show up for other people
when they are going through that.
And I was a hairdresser for 18 years.
That's what I was doing before the accident.
And when I came back, I knew my purpose was different.
And so now I have my own practice
and I work with people who have experienced trauma.
And that brings me so much joy
because I know that truly that's why this all happened.
And I feel my angels with me,
I feel Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael with me
all the time, especially when I'm there to serve
and help other people.
And it was a really beautiful divine tragedy
that led me to so many other lessons and gifts.
And I just send love to anybody else
who is experiencing any kind of trauma
and just want you to know that you're not alone.
Slow down, especially if you're really busy, slow down.
Your body is constantly giving you signals all the time
and trust your intuition
because you always know what is best for you.
And the story was so profound to me
that I had my sister bring me a journal to the hospital
and I started to write my book in the hospital.
And I wrote a book from this
and it's called Soul of a Spirit Warrior.
It has all of the details of the full story
and the lessons that came from it.
And that all came through me in my hospital bed.
So I could really remember all the details
of the profound story that happened.
And that's it.
