Hi guys, I’m Vanee And you are watching Vanee’s Baby Steps And you are watching Vanee’s Baby Steps And you are watching Vanee’s Baby Steps Today I’m sharing my go-to makeup for stage Today I’m sharing my go-to makeup for stage It’s a pretty simple one that can be done It’s a pretty simple one that can be done with just your daily makeup products with just your daily makeup products So it’s suitable for ones who only do stage makeup once in a while Now let’s get started For starters, I tied my hair in a bun Same as in many dance occasions I’m using Etude House Any Air Puff It’s a real bargain for its good quality makes it super easy to apply liquid foundation I’m using Guerlain LDP liquid foundation which is one shade lighter than my natural skin tone For stage makeup, I prefer to put on a heavier base for a stronger stage presence So for my tanned skin tone, I’d put on a lighter shade for it to look a bit heavier Then I’m using IPSA Creative Concealer EX For me, the coverage is just average Probably because I do have serious dark circles Sooo....I can’t really tell much of a difference Sooo....I can’t really tell much of a difference But let’s just do it for its own sake Next step, the most important one is setting your foundation! I’m pressing a lot of loose power on my face so it stays golden despite oil and sweat Emmmm.... gotta fetch something My brow pencil needed a bit sharpening My brow pencil needed a bit sharpening Now we are getting to the brows Now we are getting to the brows I’m drawing on a set of darker brows and also dragging the ends a bit longer because I think it’s better for stage you can adjust according to your own brow shape Then I’m brushing on a layer of brow powder to set it and fill in my brows so it looks more natural Then just brush the brows a bit I would always slightly smudge the beginning of my brows so it doesn’t look too squared Most importantly let’s put on a coat of brow gel so your brows will stay in good shape Now it’s time for LOADS of powder Ok…I’m exaggerating I’m contouring the sides of my nose and cheeks like this I’m using Benefit’s powder foundation I’m using Benefit’s powder foundation It’s slightly darker than my skin perfect for contouring Now time to put on some blush For this look, I think we can go easy on the blush adding some color to your face would be good enough I’m putting on some shimmery beige eyeshadow I’m putting on some shimmery beige eyeshadow Then line your eyes with Love Liner liquid eyeliner Check if both eyes are even Then brighten up the inner corners of your eyes with your favourite highlighter This step makes your eyes pop on stage and on camera and also balances out your eye makeup Then line your inner eyeliner with a pencil and close your eyes to transfer the eyeliner then repeat the same step add some dark eyeshadow to the out corner of your eyes Mascara time! make sure it’s sweat and water proof I’m using MJ mascara We are almost there Time to put on some lipstick I’m using Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor For most stage makeup, you can stop right here But I was requested to put on a dark lip color But I was requested to put on a dark lip color which I didn’t have on hand So I layered some black eyeshadow over my lipstick So I layered some black eyeshadow over my lipstick and the result was pretty satisfying I think it is a great tip so you don’t have to get a lip color that’s rarely used Hope you enjoyed watching this video See you in my next video Welcome to subscribe and follow
