And when Rocky Hernandez is in action, you can expect fireworks, especially when he's taking on Cleveland's Thomas Matisse. 49 knockout wins between these two. This one should be an absolute banger. And it's with Hernandez's team earlier on tonight, they said that the strategy that they had last time out against Daniel Lugo in the early rounds, when they explicitly told him to move and box, they said we're never doing that ever again. Rocky needs to be in close because Matisse is going to be dangerous from long range. Yeah, you know, and Rocky started that fight boxing and once he got clipped, he switched it up and became the aggressor. And that's when he took full control of the fight versus Lugo. Body shots here early as Matisse kind of cruising around the perimeter. Right there, Rocky pretty much took what Matisse gave him. He's ripped two good body shots. Ability to land flush on the body, but it does do damage to the arms. Yeah, you know, he's taking his time. It's a close round fight. But, you know, he's probably trying to feel Rocky out, feel that his power is right. And eventually pick it up. A lot of moving in the round. Box shot right hand there from Matisse. Matisse, he doesn't have a whole lot of room to let it go. You know, Matisse, you don't want to give up these few shots. They take a toll as the rounds go on. And some of those body shots are landing clean right now. Rocky got some body shots through. Matisse, he just started throwing some body shots to try to, you know, slow Rocky down. Now he's throwing right uppercut right there by Rocky. He's putting a little bit more mustard on those shots. Nice slip back right there by Rocky to try to counter that quick right uppercut. He's missed by just a little. Nice left hook by Rocky. The body work is remaining consistent for Hernandez as he climbs the ladder with a nice left hook as well. Nice short right uppercut right there by Rocky. Matisse trying to find the space for an uppercut of his own. It's Hernandez's that are getting through. Here, Matisse's corner from over sitting here, telling him, make him feel something. That goes back to what we were talking about, seemingly wanting a little bit more zip on his shots to try and get Hernandez's respect. Right now, it's just charging the front door. Yeah, and you know, Matisse is doing nice things in certain spots, but for the most part, Rocky can control it around. Chopping right hand there from Matisse, but Hernandez comes right back with that uppercut. That was a nice short right uppercut by Matisse, but he needs more of that. Nice right hand there from Matisse. He found the room that he was looking for there. That was a dangerous shot, but Hernandez took it well. You know, it's almost like I don't want to fight 12 rounds of these cuts. I'm going to try to get him out, because he's coming very aggressive in this round. Nice shot on the inside there from Matisse, but back comes Hernandez with a double jab and a couple uppercuts on the inside. Things really starting to open up here in round five, as we expected he would at one point. It's like Matisse knows that Rocky, you know, is like an energizer, but he's going to keep coming at you, so... Oh, right hand from Matisse. That's the shot that the Matisse corner has been hollering about. They want him to walk Hernandez into that shot right there. He almost set him up for that shot again. Another right hand from Matisse a moment ago. And you know, Rocky's busy, but you don't see that snap. He hasn't really cracked Matisse with a big power shot yet. Round six, maybe in the absence of the space and maybe the pop that he would have had in other fights. Double right hand, one to the body, one to the head, but look at Matisse turning the corner. That was a good triple hook right there by Matisse. Oh, Matisse just missed with what looked like a home run right hand. But back comes Hernandez with maybe a better right hand over the top. That one backs Hernandez up. Rocky's not feeling too good, he's got a lot of blood coming down. Voluntarily backing up for the first time, and he gets blasted by another right hand. You know, like I said, the volume is coming from Rocky, but Matisse is there to stop him. Three more good shots. Well, there's about three cuts to worry about, maybe four. I think I see one on the bridge and nose of Rocky Hernandez right now as well, which creates a little bit of confusion, Gabe. And if this one is stopped, you kind of have to determine which is the one that's causing the stoppage. Is it the one from the punch? Is it the one from the flasher heads? And this one is being stopped. And we will wait for the ruling. But is it stopping the punch? Hold on, you see referee Mark Colloy saying, wait a minute. Is when the blood really starts pouring down.
