we don't know why we'll be just hey it's Jackie and welcome back for another Barbie tutorial I thought it would be fun to cover a bunch of hairstyles from the movie so I covered three today and I will be using my own hair I bought a lot of Barbie merch so that'll be sprinkled through this tutorial and I wanted to start with my absolute favorite this is by Aldo like how gorgeous it looks like a Chanel bag quality is great I ended up getting this on eBay because it was all sold out but I am very happy with this purchase so if you want to shop any Barbie collabs I do have a master list that I put together that I keep on adding to so be sure to check it out and let's get started with this first hairstyle but we're gonna do it on my brunette hair so first I'm gonna add in extensions this is totally optional obviously I do have a lot of hair always judge it up on camera but when I brush it you'll see it's pretty fine and Margot Robbie said on the set of Barbie movie there was just so much hair they used tons of wigs to get that proportion so it looked more dull like so I'm gonna clip in 28 inch extensions it's really hard to find extensions that are this length so this is from a brand called irresistible me and here I'm just clipping them in so this is my hair with just two of the Clips in they're four clip widths and such a major difference for this hairstyle leave out bangs if you already have them or just skip bangs and do the half up half down ponytail add an elastic and you want this to be a little further back because we are going to push it forward to get the fan effect Margo's hair swooped upwards at the side so I'm taking two smaller sections Gathering them into the ponytail I've seen a lot of people flip the ponytail all the way through the loop to get that fanned out effect but I personally hate doing this I always catch little hairs and it's frustrating to take out so I'm doing half the step push that elastic down so you can't see it place the bun maker so the elastic is in the center of the hole and then pinned down with sturdy bobby pins if you have really fine hair and you are incorporating extensions you can add one in the front so that you have more hair to go back into the ponytail now when you bring the hair back over you're going to have volume without a lot of effort I do tease a little bit add some hairspray to make sure this stays covered so much hair I definitely feel like a doll and I didn't even use all the clips we still have this three clip left and then two one clip wefts but I feel like we definitely have the desired effect and you could leave it like this if you have curtain bangs of course you already would have taken them down by now but I do have clipping bangs so let's style these what's foolproof about this style is adding a bow because you can wedge it right under where the bun maker is grouping some of the hair around it so it stays over the bun make sure to leave some hair out on the side so we don't get a bell half up half down do these curtain bangs aren't perfect but I'm gonna move on and start curling the hair I'm using this Barbie brush this is from forever 21. I've done this look twice and the first time I used these bangs honestly I think they might have looked a little better but I decided to go with this very full pair to match the doll-like look my hair is quite a bit longer so I'm just adding some curls away from the face with the T3 micro wand making sure to curl that back Pony slightly tighter then I really lightly back comb through the hair for a soft wave effect add some hairspray and there's the first look we've been eyeing this dress in jewelry I was sent this by Morgan who is the spindle in the rose on Instagram she made it and you can get a custom order from her she is selling a couple of these jewelry replicas as well so I'll have her link down below it was so fun to unbox this and try it on for the first time as you're seeing here trying to find some light nice am I even in frame of Barbie magazines I had to pick these two up of course I had to pick up the Barbie movie doll there's quite a few of them but I went with this one because I knew I was going to recreate this entire look and I thought it would be fun to have the box we have Margo on there love the packaging and she is so detailed I love all the Barbies but this one was the most affordable so I got this one next look is the easy breezy beach side ponytail I have changed up this outfit and IDE this necklace and these earrings from the czaric lab so this is what it originally looked like very pearlescent inspired by the movie use some nail polish a glitter coat I deconstructed it added some pearls wearing this Philly bathing suit which is super similar and again some dry shampoo parting my hair on this side hers is opposite I just want to try it on this side this look is one of the easiest Styles and I'm not going to use fake hair I feel like I have enough for this one but I am going to add clip-in bangs that I've already made from old extensions hence why I needed new ones practice clipping in these faux bangs that I made just from one clip-in extension and I find the easiest way to do it create kind of a swooping section here and as close as you can to the part and you're going to cover your hair with that we're going to add some teasing to make sure it stays but it Blends in pretty good foreign s with my T3 micro straightener I did this one this way and then this one outwards just copying the photo secured with an elastic now I'm going to judge up top portion and then add some curls creating loose curls with another T3 wand brushing up with this Barbie brush from Forever 21 wrap part of your hair around the base of the pony My Curls sit lower so I'm not wrapping all the way around so I can have a loose end that brings the wave up a bit higher to secure wraparound ponies I like to add a small plastic elastic that's clear making sure to secure the hair will be wrapped around then rearrange the wrapped around hair so you don't see that elastic I find it so much easier than using bobby pins next Barbie collab that I purchased is the Charmed Aroma candle and jewelry tray this is the Dream House ah it smells really good I'll have the notes on screen so this is what the tray looks like has curved edges for your jewelry and then here's the candle smells fruity it's a soy candle and with Charmed Aroma there is a ring inside that's one of these from the Barbie collection oh I think this one is one of the best collabs that have come out it is a smaller candle than I did think that I did think the side pony it let's take it to the side braid and in spirit of the fashion in the film I picked out this two-piece set actually two two piece sets that I thought were very Barbie movie this classic pink one this is from revolve I'll have it linked down below it is a little pricey but it's a beautiful set I love the details if you don't want to go to Barbie pink but love the aesthetic you can go with this baby blue checkered set I wore this checkered outfit to the mall to check out the zark lab not a lot was in stock but I did try on this iconic pink jumpsuit foreign to match the movie you want to go with a light Pink Beret like this unfortunately I ordered this and it's for kids but I thought it would still fit my head definitely doesn't and then you can also go with a pink bow but with this outfit I feel like I wanted it to be a little bit less accessorized so instead I went with a hat that has a bow and just in a off-white color this is from brothers and sisters biz so it sits nice I'm going to twist this first section there look at how big that braid looks I have fake hair here but not here and my hair is pretty fine so this is a great hairstyle it's really thicken up the look of your hair to add the bow for fun hope you've had fun in Barbie land doing some hairstyles and I also picked up this overnight curls with the Barbie Club come on Focus they liked the look of this and I hope it works on my hair and then I also showed this earlier when I was diying but I do have the OPI welcome to Barbie land polish it's literally just this little top packaging that's a different and of course the shades are inspired but I do really like this pink let me know in the comments if you
