Singaporean JUMBO CHILI CRAB!!🦀 Best Chilli Crab in Singapore?!🇸🇬 SG Style Seafood Feast!!🦐

Chili crab has arrived. Look at that beautiful red sauce. I'm gonna get some more of the crab meat in there. Unbelievable! Let's eat! Let's eat! Say what? Pineapple. Pineapple. You go. Okay, so we're here at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant here in Ayan Orchard. And they say that it's one of the best seafood restaurants that specializes in chili crab which is the national dish of Singapore. We've been here for more than a year now and I've been saving my first taste of chili crab this holiday. So finally I'm gonna be able to try it. I'm so excited! Along with the chili crab, we also ordered a different set which has the seafood donut tossed with salad cream and crispy fried baby squid. There's also this set of de-shelled prawns with golden salted egg and some chili crab meat with sliced fried mantou. I'm so excited about that! We're also getting the supreme seafood fried rice and mango sago pomelo pudding. I think we ordered additional rice for Kayla with some chicken. I'm so excited! So these are tiny crispy sotong or squid. Super crunchy, drenched in soy sauce, chili but it's not spicy. Sesame seeds with some additional crunch in there. Good appetizer and it's served with kind of like a fruit salad, pineapple. Seafood donut, seafood ball inside. Kind of like the buchi texture outside. This is really good! It's a good start. Light appetizer, fruit salad and sotong. Really, really crispy. That's delicious! So they have served us this red chili. I think this is supposed to be for the peanuts. I'm gonna try the sotong with it. Oh, that's good! Oh yeah! Alright, so the fried mantou buns has arrived. It's golden and looks so crispy. Look at that! It's my first mantou bun ever. Look at how golden that is! And these are quite small and oblong. And it's served with this chili crab meat sauce which looks super, super good. And it's stuffed with more crab meat in there. So excited! This is gonna be my first time. Alright, I don't know if there's a proper way to eat this but I'm just gonna dunk this mantou bun in there. These mantou buns look so crispy and toasty. It looks so good! I'm gonna get a lot of sauce on my first bite. I think I want to order some more buns. Just on the first bite. The meat sauce is kind of like sweet, a little bit spicy. It tastes a little bit of kind of like a tomato sauce in there. I want to get some more of these. Look at that! Oh my gosh! My second bite with some cilantro. Unbelievable! You know the closest dish that reminds me biting into this chili is pork and beans. Kind of like tomatoey sauce. I'm not sure if they put pork I think and crab. But this one has a kick. I would have liked it to be more spicy. I mean that's just me but it's got enough kick. Really, really good! Oh my gosh! Like this meat sauce is super, super good. I've never had anything like this in my entire life. Phenomenal! Toasty mantou buns with it. It's like the perfect combo that you can never have. So now I'm gonna try the salted egg prawns with the fried rice. I can't wait! Look at these prawns! So humongous! Look how huge the prawns are. I'm just gonna take a bite of this. Look how plump it is. It's so big! Mmm! Oh my gosh! Mmm! These golden prawns, not too rich. You can taste the salted egg in there. Mmm! The highlight is really the prawns are huge and extremely fresh. Eat it with the rice. Mmm! So good! You can smell and taste the wok hei in there. It's also filled with crab meat. There's some green onion, shrimp and most of it are eggs. And it's very flavorful and fluffy. This is like pure comfort food. So good! Mmm! Another bite of the prawn. The chili crab has arrived. I actually don't know how to eat this thing. We rarely eat crab because it's kind of messy. So I'm not sure. Let me know in the comments below how to eat this the proper way. And look at this guys! One of the best things that you can eat from a crab. Look at that! The flavors! Oh my gosh! It's so good! For first timers, make sure that you're ready because it's gonna be messy. Look at this crab claw! Bright orange, full of meat! Wow! Look at this crab claw! I'm gonna do a refill to get some more of the sauce. This crab is gonna go straight to the meat sauce. I can't wait! Let's dig in! It's the spiciness that I'm looking for! Mmm! Now we're talking! It's even more spicy than the meat sauce earlier. Oh I love it! This is what I'm looking for. The spice level is just enough. Hello again my friend! Look at how the mantu looks like in the cross section. It's like bao but very light, toasted and crispy. It reminds me of a fried donut. Let's go for another claw in here. We're gonna need the sauce. Give me that sauce! This is the perfect sauce! Mmm! I think I need my spoon in here. Heavenly peace! Oh my gosh! This is the perfect holiday food! The crab meat itself, even without any sauce. It is naturally sweet, super tender, super good! Unbelievable! One more good thing about this restaurant is the huge aquariums from the entrance. With live crabs, all kinds of seafood. It's the freshest that you can get. I think the marketing of most Chinese restaurants here, specifically with seafood restaurants. They put the aquariums outside just to show people that hey, look at our seafood. They're all fresh. Alright, time for dessert. So this is mango sago pomelo. I'm assuming there's mango shaved ice because the shaved ice is colored yellow. Maybe there's some pomelo syrup in there, I'm not sure. And then look at these pearls. These are white pearls. I've never had white sago pearls. Growing up, I was used to having the brown sago pearl. This one is white. It's not actually white, it's clear. Let's try to break this. As I'm assuming this has to be eaten like halo-halo. Okay, there's coconut cream on top. Let's try to mix everything together. Green and red, they look like raindrops. It's weird looking. I think it's well mixed by now. Let's try it. Why am I blowing it? It reminds me of something. It reminds me of ice candy. The texture of the ice would be reminded of ice candy. I like the sour flavor from the pomelo. It cuts through all the richness that we've had. Ice, not like finely shaved. These clear weird looking ones are the pomelo bits. And they're kind of sour and bitter. It's nice. And there's pieces of kind of like nata. Small pieces of nata. Nata de coco, coconut jelly. And when you bite into it, it just bursts in your mouth. With coconut goodness and sweetness at the same time. This is very refreshing. I really like this one. Happy holidays to you guys. 2021 is coming. This sets the bar and the quality and the flavor That I'm gonna get in the future when I try another chili crab restaurant. You should be prepared to pay a little bit more. Maybe I'll rate this in general 8 out of 10. Quality of food, the service. Just that the chili crab arrived last. I know, save the best for last. But we're almost full. But yeah, the experience is good. Overall, it's 8 out of 10 for me. We can go back to the family here.
