Welcome back! Yes, and I'm back too after Poland. An amazing weekend in Alaska with my new Polish
friends. Thank you, you are great! And after being in Essen with Jörg Sprave from the Slingshot channel
and we tested the new Revo 7, which is awesome, we go back to our regular arching. Look what I
have for my patrons. Came already a little while ago, the Yumi by Numair Archery and it's a pretty
one. It's in brown glass. Normally he makes them in black. He has a nice whipping, a nice leather
handle. I think this feels all great. Costs $350 plus shipping. Shipping is a little, you know,
it's $100 for the two bows from Indonesia to my doorstep, but that's fine. Craftsmanship is just
nice. Look at this. Is that pretty? Nice. What can I tell you? Not a lot, because I forgot the piece
of paper now. But I can tell you the length of the bow, but from nock to nock, because I don't know how
else they measure their bows. I do it my way. It's a nice Yumi and I have the Hankyu here too, but
next time. Oh, it's not enough. It's 79 inches. Look at you. And another
7 inches is 86 inches. Is something in meters, but I don't know. You will figure.
So, and even the string now is a really like originally made, very thin, very, you know,
cuts into your whatever you have. It's nice. So, I guess the red one is the bottom one. Let's see
where do we have a... There is no center serving. Then it doesn't matter. Oh, there's a center
serving. So, I guess this is in the bottom one. Okay. So, white is bottom, red is... Cool. So,
thanks for making them, Numaya. So, now I don't want to break anything here for stringing,
obviously. It doesn't help, I guess. But I guess these bows are relatively simple to string.
Look at this. So, there's not an overly huge amount of tension in the bow when strung.
This is how it looks like. So, now one day I need to learn how to shoot. So, I guess this is a...
It's not straight here. So, this is not nice. It's a little fragile. No one could think now
that it's a bow where the string sits a little on the right side like it should be. But this is
only the upper limb and this worries me now a little bit. I don't like. But we will see what
it will do. So, let's see. Let's pre-draw this pretty one. I don't know what the draw length
will be. I guess 36 inches something. So, $350 you can get a bow like this. I prepared some arrows.
They're most probably a little too hard. And I, because I don't have a yukaki or what you call it.
So, I take the thing closest I have. It's the leather thumb protector by my friend.
Which name I forgot now. The closest to a yukaki I have. Let's shoot. It's a big bow. So, you need
to see that you get it in the frame, obviously. So, of course, you can do not all your form and,
you know, what have you. But I don't do this now. This bow you over grip it, obviously.
Go away fly. So, this is 11 kilos. And the arrows are way too heavy. But we get the first test shots.
Don't worry. Don't blame my form now. And just see what the bow is doing. So, yeah. Getting there.
Slowly. It's not so bad now. I have more lightweight ones. But they are a little bit shorter.
But they look better. Fletching looks more like... So, string is very thin. So, you need to make sure
with your nocks that you have everything right. Let's see. Too high. Look at you. Nice.
Interesting for sure. When I was in Poland, there was a guy with a yumi. He was shooting all day.
It's nice to look at. Getting there. It's fun. I need something meditative. You know, all the forms
and stuff. That was way too fast. And I still like to do this. Not the... But we get there.
And I must say, I like this brown glass. It looks really good. So, it's really, really cool.
So, of course, you can do now all your, you know, what have you. Put one here and you put, you know,
all this yada yada. You know that. You can hold this one here if you like. So, we shoot only two.
Proper stance. I can do this. Oh, baby. If you try. So, target is a little low. That's why
you need to get this rotation right now. Almost. You saw that. I only shoot two arrows.
Fun. 11 kilos is not a lot. So, it's easy to pull. 36 inches is fine. I only...
Not sure up there. It's a little off. But maybe you did it on purpose that the string comes to
the left side. I don't know. So, because you didn't mention anything. Usually, the bows are
made that the string runs on this side. Not in the center of the bow. On this side of the bow.
This one does it now too. But only due to this in the upper limb. So, I don't know if this is the
correct thing to do. But look at this. How pretty this bow is. And this brown glass is it. I like.
And craftsmanship is nice. There's nothing to complain. Really pretty. Handle is good.
Takes a while. You know. You need to over grip. But it falls almost automatically in place here.
So, well done. And of course, you have here. It's quite nice. Let's see what we get.
Where's the center of gravity? Here. So, we have 585 grams. It's not that heavy.
Expected a little more. It's quite lightweight. Draws nice. Off. Thank you. Cool.
So, let's go. Let's go further back. And let's do one more shooting. So, let's see how we are doing
now. It's not so easy. So, it's a completely little bit here that you see more. Sound is good.
Only this complete rotation I still don't manage. But we get there. So, this is just. I need to
learn how to do this here. Happens so automatically. But it's nice. It's a little. But I guess due to
the poundage it's a little noisy. So, if this would be a little stronger bow you would not hear
this. But it's fine. 11 kilos is 20 pounds or something. I don't know. 19 pounds. 28 I guess.
It's nice. So, the string loops have. They are not loops. They have knots there. You see that?
Cool. And here we have a little center serving. It's really nice made. So, it's fun to shoot. But
definitely if you never shot one has a learning curve to it. So, you need to get used to it.
Nice one. Patrons. And you see the bow in its whole glory. It's a very different experience.
And I killed it hard. Fun. Tell you. It's a lot of fun. So, patrons. If you're up for a
Yumi. I will ask after I show this video a question on my Patreon page. And everybody
who is a patron and who answers this right will participate in the giveaway shootout. And then
you can get this pretty bow. I will ship it anywhere. Even if shipping is killing me. But
what can I do? Pretty bow. I mean look at this completely again. Wow.
It's really cool. So, I think max draw is something like 33-34 inches. But you just
check with Numair Archery. He will tell you. Nice. And $350. Find a Yumi for this price.
Really, really good. Even including shipping. I paid $100 and it would be $450. It's still
way less than if you get one from Japan or something. Of course, they will be different
and made with bamboo and yadda yadda. But they have fiberglass too. But as if you say, okay,
I want to start doing now and try how this is with a bow like this, you know. A good entrance
for sure. So, patrons. Stay alert. Soon you will get the question. And for the rest,
Numair Archery, thank you very much for making these ones.
Thank you for sending it to me. Of course, I paid for it.
And that's all I have for you today. Thank you very much for watching. Catch you in the next one.
