It's July 19th. The past couple days have not been great. I have not been taking a lot of
video because my camera's been inside my pack because there's been a lot of bushwhacking
blowdown stuff and uh yeah just made it through the worst part. I'm just trying to stay on this
river floodplain right now. Just kind of every time I cross it hurts so bad but
my my legs are beat up so yeah. Oh I'm out of food. I don't have any food. I got 20 kilometers
to get some. Last night was very slow. Yeah it was really bad.
So I'm just trying to crush it right now. Oh I'm tired.
The pass over there is the highest point of the Great Divide Trail.
It's been rainy. It's been cold. I got a little bit lost for a second
but this is really amazing. Such an alpine wonderland. I love places like these and
I'm scared by places like these. It's really nice. Here's my view.
It's rainy again. Yesterday it started off all like blue sky and very quickly turned to rain.
Today is a gray day. Very cold. So it's been cloudy for most of the day but it hasn't really
rained which has been really nice and the trail quality is so good. I can actually walk again.
I'm just really enjoying the now. I'm here on the Skyline Trail. Jasper's most popular trail I think
probably. I've been seeing a ton of people after not really seeing any people for a long time.
This should be one of the highlights I think. It's definitely one of the most popular areas
that the trail goes through and tomorrow I'm going to Jasper, get some food,
figure out what I'm doing afterwards maybe. I don't know. We'll see. Here's my view.
I'm here at the notch on the Skyline Trail. About to start ridge walking.
