A day in the life of a small business owner!! :)

Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my YouTube channel. It has been a long time since I've made a YouTube video, but also a lot of things have happened. I've moved houses and I plan on having a room tour slash an office tour later on as I get more things for my room. But my headboard isn't coming until October and it's like June right now, but anyways. And I started a Etsy shop, so that is going really well and that's kind of what today's video is. It is going to be a small business day in the life, day in the life of a small business owner. I haven't decided what I'm going to title it yet, but let's get right on into the video and yeah. Okay, so now I am in my office area and you can tell why I filmed my intro in my room because there's no windows in here, but there's like a neat light fixture, but still the lighting in here is pretty terrible. So this is kind of like my office setup. I need to clean up because I made this sweatshirt yesterday and so my office is kind of a mess. Oh, slowly. I'm showing you. Like, this is the situation on the floor, I'm going to sell hats, so that's why there's hats everywhere on the floor, but let's see if I can turn it. I need to do a quick cleanup, so I think that's how I'm going to start off the day in the life. Okay, so I tidied up my office and now I'm going to check for any orders. I fulfilled a few yesterday. These are the orders that I got yesterday, so I don't know if I'm going to have very many today, but we'll see. Okay, so I have two orders as of this morning that I'm going to do, so I'm going to go ahead and print out the shipping label and order receipt. Okay, so the printer that I use is downstairs that like works the best, so I'm going to go get those, but first. So I have a product review form, so basically on my Instagram, you can send me your products and then I will review them on Instagram on a story or on my reel, on a reel. So I created this review form yesterday and just started putting it out and I have seven people that signed up, so I think I'm going to go through and I have to look at their Instagram to make sure if they're actually a business and whatnot, but I can show you what the form looks like. So this is kind of what it looks like. This is like a Google review form, so basically this is like what it would look like if you're doing it. So you pick your name, Instagram, how would you like me to review, how many products, what products, and I understand I'm paying and everything like that. So I have had seven people do it, so I'm going to go through, I already looked at the first two, but I'm going to go through and look at the next four to see if I want to have them send me their products. Okay, so I finished like selecting all of the product review form people and so far all of the people that have signed up have been good, but while I was doing that I also updated my story and said I was making a YouTube video and my shop is 15% off right now just to kind of clear out some inventory. So I got a few orders since then, so I have five orders that I need to cut out on my cutting board and then we can package them. Okay, so I've cut out all the like little order receipts slash packing slips and the shipping labels, so now I'm going to start packing the orders. Okay guys, so I just finished making the Smile and Shells anklet. So this is what it looks like and it has a little adjustable thing. So now I'm going to package Aubrey's order. Thank you so much Aubrey's. Okay, so I'm going to grab a bubble mail here, blue color, and let's get to packaging. Okay guys, so it is about 1.30 and I'm downstairs. I think I'm going to make this pizza. It's like a cauliflower crust pizza. I'm not allergic or anything, but I've been liking cauliflower crust, so I think I'm going to make it. Start. Okay, I just want to take this time while the oven is heating up to thank y'all so much. I cannot believe like how many orders I've gotten today. I posted on my Instagram story, by the way, Instagram is linked down below, that my shop is like 15% off today and that I was doing a YouTube video and I've gotten nine orders today. That is crazy. So thank y'all so much. If you order by this time, you won't have to wait for the oven to heat up because it'll already be done. Yum. Just kidding. I only got like a bread piece, bread bite, but for cauliflower crust, that's so good. Okay guys, so I just took the pizza out of the oven. It looks really good and I sprinkled some Parmesan on it. Then of course, apple juice. So I'm just going to cut it up. Here it is all cut up, but I did make quite a mess. Okay guys, so I finished making the little smile with gold bracelet and this one I already had done. So these two go in the set and now I'm going to use my bead spinner. Try not to spill them to make the, um, funfetti like just like color mix bracelet. So yeah. Okay, so I just made the funfetti bracelet in, um, the party stack. So this is the stack. I need to make one more and I still have some beads left in the spinner. So I'm going to go ahead and make one more. Okay, I finished the two bracelets. So one goes with the full stack and then one is just somebody got just the funfetti. So yeah. Okay, so I just finished the smile with blue bracelet and that is going in this order. So cute. Okay guys, so I came in my room for better lighting, but I just wanted to update y'all. So it's around five o'clock and I've done quite a few orders today. I had like two that I did yesterday that were in here, but an update since I did that, um, thing on my story, like saying that my shop was 15% off and just kind of letting people know I was making a YouTube video, I've gotten five more orders since then. So I'm going to print those out and go ahead and do those. This is like not an average day in the life, but I think people like want to be featured in this video. And also since my shop's 15% off, they were like, let's order. So I don't normally get this many orders. Um, but I think it's pretty cool that y'all get to see me package it and let me know if you want to see more videos like this in the future and I want to make more business related stuff. Also keep a little bit of lifestyle, but yeah. So let's go. I'm going to go print out those shipping labels. Okay, so I printed out more of the shipping label and packing slips. So I'm going to put them out on my cutting board. Okay, so now it is time for dinner. I have four more orders to package until it's the end of the day. I've done a lot throughout the day, like my laundry and stuff that I didn't show and like, um, just like cleaning up around the house and eating and just like being on my phone and stuff. So I like how it showed everything. So that's probably why it's like gone by so fast. But after dinner, I'm going to package those four orders. So yeah, let's go see what my mom cooked. like paperclip necklace. Yeah. Okay, so I just finished the bracelets. Well, here's the polaroid bracelet and then this is the aloha bracelet that I just finished. So now I'm going to package it up. Okay, so here's everything that is going in their package. Package.
