Tanker High Fashion - Cold Weather Tanker Jacket

Hey guys, Lucas here from Future Surplus and today we're going to talk about one of our favorite jackets, the tanker jacket. All right, so what we've got here is just a U.S. Army tanker jacket. So this is, you know, kind of years and years you see these like leather ones or anything like that. This is what they ended up with and it's a pretty cool cold weather jacket for a tanker crew or you guys in like an armored vehicle. It's like Bradleys and such. It's meant to be worn over coveralls, so as you see it's got a high waist. It's not meant to go, you know, down below your pant line. It's meant to be worn over coveralls or whatever uniform you're wearing in there and add as an additional thermal layer. They are flame resistant, so that's nice, so it's protective. They're not overly bulky or thick, but they are very warm, so you're gonna be good to go and they got a good look to them because they have that high cut and just like kind of form-fitting. Because of that high waist on them, you might have to go up a size when you buy these just because they're gonna fit a little higher on you. So if you're real tall and you normally wear a medium, medium regular, you might have to go a large regular. I'm normally fit in that medium regular, lower end of large regular kind of time frame or size frame. So yeah, just remember that when you're buying that. Otherwise, you got some good shoulder pockets right here for small items for pins. You got some flap pockets on the waistline, which is real nice. You got a good collar and on the inside, full zipper and it's lined, insulated and everything like that. So overall, really nice jacket and you got some elastic cuffs, so wind's not gonna get in there too easy. If you're wearing it for driving, if you're in like an ATV or something like that, it's a good jacket for that because it's gonna not ride real low, get caught on anything. If you're wearing it in your car on a cold day, just to get to where you're going, it's a good one for that too. Hey guys, hope you enjoyed this video. These are definitely cool jackets.
