Everybody, it is August 28th, 2020.
We are live and I'm here with my good buddy, Aaron Deamer.
Welcome to the BetterWealth Studio.
Everyone's super excited to be here and can't wait to share this episode with you.
I just have to give Cindy Martin a quick shout out because Cindy,
we love you so much here at the BetterWealth family.
You make sure to comment on most, if not all the YouTube videos.
We appreciate your support.
Thank you so much for listening live on YouTube.
Before we get in, another quick thing is I noticed that our setup is slightly
glitchy, so if you're listening to this on our podcast, it's not going to matter.
Potentially, it may glitch in and out.
That's the pros and cons of having an advanced setup in the BetterWealth Studio.
So one of the things I want to do is number one, I want to give you a U.S.
debt update.
We're at almost $26.7 trillion in U.S.
debt.
I'm going to do an episode sometime in the future about what a trillion dollars is
because I think a lot of times it just goes over our head, but it's a big number
and it's counting very, very fastly.
Also, I want to give a shout out to our newest person.
We are over 150 reviews on Apple Podcasts.
We're at 152, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
If you have an Apple and you could go to our podcast, scroll all the way down to the
bottom and hit review, that would be amazing.
And Miss Monique 05 said, I'm glued.
I ran across a BetterWealth YouTube video on the power of life insurance.
Ten minutes later, I binged on several episodes and I'm anxiously waiting my copy
of the end asset.
I hope you get it.
If you don't get it soon, let us know because I'm just thank you so much for
getting it.
I love the mission and vision of BetterWealth.
We need the thought leaders such as Caleb to keep sharing.
I'm learning so much, seeing strategies I'm not considering that I've never
considered before.
I love it.
Thank you for genuinely and passionately sharing your knowledge with us.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to make a review.
Every review helps people find out this message.
I'm really, really excited because Aaron's in the house.
And if you have not heard of Aaron, if this is the first time you see this beautiful
face of Aaron Diemer, I would encourage you to go over.
I'm trying to maybe Mariah, you can check with us on when we did his story and
we'll, we'll get back to you when she gets back to us.
But we, if you go back, we, I actually interviewed Aaron Diemer on your story
and it's pretty remarkable.
So for those of, for those people that have not listened to your interview, what
is the cliff note version of how amazing you are?
You'll have to brag a little bit about yourself and like your quick story, give
people a little bit context on who you are to the BetterWealth nation.
And then I'm excited to delve into the handbook and as a handbook, which I really
think is the best, the best work, written work on life insurance out there today.
And I'm really excited to be a part of, of this content and you played a massive
role in it.
Wow.
Yeah, quite the intro.
Um, I love it though.
So yeah.
And as you guys know, I probably, um, it goes without saying, but just being the
marketing here is just a huge blessing.
And, um, being able to share such a powerful message and impact so many people
looking at reviews like that is just, it, it makes your day and we have that almost
every day.
So it's, it's really, really cool to give you a quick synopsis of my story.
I grew up as a tennis player, had a chance to travel internationally, um, compete on
the junior pro level, ended up getting a division one scholarship to play college
tennis, originally from Vancouver, Canada, ended up coming out to Denver, Colorado.
And just long story short, met Caleb, uh, through a mutual friend.
And, um, during my tennis journey, I started getting into the rabbit hole of
online marketing, online business, and actually had started a digital marketing
agency.
And that really showed me the possibilities of marketing and business and
joined the entrepreneurship program at DU had success in that.
And then eventually decided to leave the tennis team to pursue that full time.
Uh, met you, saw what you were doing.
And obviously we talked, connected, and, uh, there was a lot of synergy there.
So, uh, looked at ways we could work together.
I still have two and a half years of my bachelor's degree to complete.
And yeah, I was going to go back home to Canada.
Uh, just finished my degree work on my agency.
We are going to keep in touch.
Ended up meeting again when I came back to visit Colorado.
Thank you.
X games, by the way.
Yeah, it was, uh, it was awesome.
And yeah, if you go back to listen to the story, there's a lot more to the story,
but essentially ended up, uh, coming to Denver to, to work with Caleb and the
team moved in with them, slept on the couch and ended up finishing an online
degree, a bachelor's and master's in.
Six months last year to be able to come out, which I'm pretty sure is a record.
So just, just to recap, Aaron went to school.
You're super, super good at tennis.
You realize tennis is there's not.
The, the future of tennis is hard and you're passionate
about internet marketing.
So you drop off the tennis team.
We meet, I don't know what it was about me.
The fact that we are, we knew some names in the digital marketing space, maybe.
I don't know, but we, we hit it off.
We got reconnected at the X bank games.
You work with us a little bit, sleep on our couch, and then you go back to
Canada because you have to, because you're not a citizen and you get your
bachelor's and master's done in six months, which I'm pretty sure is up there
or like, I know it's a record for the school that you went to, but it's
potentially a record across the board.
And I mean, that's remarkable.
And then you, then you get in and you've been, we've been running ever since.
And it's good to have you in the studio.
I like, we're going to, you're going to be seeing this guy's face a lot more
because we are putting out a ton of content.
And one of the, one of the things that Aaron is so good at is content creation.
Like you have a gifting of copy.
You have a gifting of, of making complicated things simple.
And so one of the things that we did and I, and I'm really excited to share this
with you guys because, oh, and also I want to just, before I jump in, Mariah got
back to us, episode 81, building dream 100 and partnerships at better wealth
with Aaron Deamer, make sure to check out his whole story.
It's really, really good.
Like I said, it's not going to be the last time that you see him.
So, um, essentially what, what we have have for you and you are, you guys are
going to be the first to get access to this is a lot of times people read my
book, the end asset, and they're like, Caleb, love it.
It's great.
Makes sense.
I like how easy it is to understand, but really we don't get into all the
ins and outs of how life insurance works.
Because again, I need, like, there's such a bridge that needs to happen
that the next step is to go deep.
And so what we've been doing is obviously when people want to know more, they come
in and learn from our company, they become clients and we share with them all this
information, but like, there's got to be a way to get this and asset like writing
this and asset philosophy, like the nuts and bolts of it into a written word.
So what, what happens, um, is we, we have a launch coming up next week with
TaxBot, I'm really excited about it.
And we put together an end asset crash course for them, like everything
you need to know video form.
And then the goal was, we were just going to like, take that video form and get
that transcribed and then make a handbook for those people that would
like just to read instead of watch.
But as we were reading it, we were like, wow, I, I ramble a lot, you know, crazy.
Um, so it's like, we're like, oh, it's not, it would not be like, there's good
stuff here, but it's like, it's like a diamond in the rough.
And so Aaron took my videos.
And just with a little bit of time with me and some other team members really got
our heart in it and spent hours.
And when I'm, I'm like hours upon hours upon hours building this and
to how many pages is it now?
Uh, now it is 50 pages, 50 pages.
Like that's incredible.
50 pages of the end asset handbook, where we go into our principles,
we go into the philosophy, but more importantly, we go into what exactly
the ins and outs and each, like each area of how the end asset can benefit
your life and don't just like say it, like show you, like we actually show.
Breakdowns of different types of policies.
Um, it's, it's by far the most, um, comprehensive work that's been
done in this industry and because you're listening, because the people
listening to, to us are huge, huge fans and we want to give you guys access,
but selfishly, we want your feedback.
Like we, we know that this is not like we're, we're getting this ready for,
for launch next week, but we just want this to be solid before we really
introduced it to the public.
And, uh, we don't consider the people watching this right now in public
because, um, you guys are obviously listening to this because
you guys are a fan of the show.
And, and I just also want to say, like, we have looking at the numbers
of people that have been listening.
I, I just, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for
continual to listen to our show.
So without further ado, Aaron, why don't you give an overview of like what you
learned, some, some of the things like that you, that you thought to be true
that you like that were changed because obviously you knew quite a bit about the
end asset, a lot of people listening to this know quite a bit about the end
asset, but they're, they, they like don't, they're not in it every single day.
So they get like the talking points, but like, I really think
that this is going to be big.
What were, what were some of the things that you like learned?
Cause I know that there's many times where you're like, you
got excited and fired up.
Yeah.
Honestly, I think that the biggest thing is a lot of people hear about the end
asset and they hear about the benefits and that it's amazing that it's better
than any other savings vehicle and they believe it, but they don't, they can't
quite put their finger on it.
Why?
Or they can't say the numbers to back that up or they can't specifically go
through the science of why it works so well.
So just going through this and seeing the different parts of it and how it
works and all the benefits and the science behind it really gives you
confidence and shows you why this actually works and why it's so much
more powerful than anything else.
I love it.
And, and I think what we're going to do is go through the overview and I think
it's going to be, I think it's going to share with you guys a lot.
And again, you can go to where, where can they go to check out the and asset
betterwealth.com slash handbook.
You can go to betterwealth.com slash handbook.
You can see it on the screen, betterwealth.com slash handbook, and you
can obviously get it and read along.
Um, we're obviously not going to read the whole thing cause that would take
hours, but we are going to, when we, when we finalize the final, um, copy,
we're going to read it on the podcast and each, each episode will be like a
breakdown and, and that's going to be, that's going to be really, really good
stuff.
I'm excited about that.
But you guys are getting kind of the raw edition.
And so you can go to betterwealth.com slash handbook to get your copy today.
All right, dude, let's, uh, I'm handing it over, you know, you know, I like to
talk, but, uh, I'm, I want to hand it over to the person that made this thing
happen.
Yeah, no.
And I'm super excited for this cause I know a lot of people probably felt the
same way as me.
They were just super excited about the end asset, but also a little confused in
some areas or just needed that extra proof and it needed to understand it a
bit better.
So this handbook, honestly, if you go through it by the end, you're going to
have such an understanding of this and why compared to anything else, like it's
just an incredible vehicle.
And honestly, it's like 10 times better than anything else.
And that's even coming from someone who didn't know a lot of this.
And still I would say, actually, I don't know, going through this and going
through all the training, I'd say I probably have a, yeah, I would say right
now you have more of an expert level status, but going into this, you are
still pretty naive.
And like, like you were, you were more, you're probably more the person that's
listening to this.
Like you're open to the idea.
You may even have an end asset in your life, but you're not like in the weeds.
You're not like a weirdo like me, like really trying to figure out all of how
this works.
And now I would say you're in the weirdo category.
Yeah.
You can't get out of it now.
Yeah.
And also going back to when you said it might take hours to read this, I
actually, when I was getting feedback from some people who took a look through
it, actually said it reads smoothly and you can finish this in an hour to two
hours.
So there you go, pick it up and spend a afternoon or having a, and give us
feedback.
And I, and I know there's, I could say you by name.
I'm not going to, I know there's people that watch these, this, that tape read
everything that we have.
Um, thank you.
It would mean a ton if you could take, take your weekend or take some time in the
next week and really give us solid feedback.
Like we are, before we take this public, we want to hear from you and that's why
we're doing this live.
So to start off, um, really the end asset handbook, uh, it covers the five key
benefits of the end asset and why those five benefits make it so powerful and why
it's more than just a single dimensional tool, like almost every other savings
vehicle or investment vehicle.
But before we get into the five different benefits, I just wanted to give a quick
like intro and preface to what we call the financial pyramid because I truly
believe, like after I learned about the financial pyramid and started really
diving in and seeing how this works and it was actually kind of something that we
came up with, we never really found it anywhere, but the financial pyramid.
Um, honestly, I might just read it straight from the, the handbook.
So guys, you're getting a little sneak peek into the handbook.
And, uh, and before I just have to give Jennifer Miller shout out, thank you for
being a fellow weirdo with us.
Um, we should maybe have the better wealth weirdo t-shirts.
Just throwing that out there.
Just, I know we were like kind of behind on the, on the, uh, t-shirt, uh, wagon,
but while we're at it, we might have to, we'll have to make that up.
So thank you so much for watching Jennifer.
All right.
So this is the financial pyramid, uh, section, and I think you guys
will really, really like this.
So to begin, I want to share a concept that will change the way
you think about finances forever.
You see, there's something called a financial pyramid and everyone's
building one, whether they know it or not.
Every dollar you save for the future is building your financial pyramid.
And the way you build this financial pyramid will determine whether you
live in constant fear, scarcity, and anxiety for your future, or whether
you'll live in confidence, freedom, and security, if you build your
financial pyramid correctly, you will not only ensure you have enough money
to maintain your standard of living for the rest of your life, but that you
will also have money left over to live a truly intentional life, life where
you are in control and where you wake up enthusiastic about what lies ahead.
Now, what is this financial pyramid and how can you ensure you build yours correctly?
Well, your financial pyramid is composed of two segments on the top half of the
pyramid, you have your high growth assets segment, and this is where you
have investments that carry risk.
On the bottom half, you have your safe money assets segment, which is
made up of safe cash, like reserves.
The bottom segment.
And by the way, if you go through the handbook, you'll see some cool
graphics that go along with this.
So, uh, they're colorful too.
Yeah, exactly.
That's your incentive.
So the bottom segment of safe money should be the biggest piece of your
financial pyramid as it sits at the foundation.
Yet most people have their financial pyramids completely upside down.
For 98% of people, their financial pyramid is built on stocks in a 401k
neutral funds, risky real estate, and possibly equity in their business.
But they only have a tiny percentage built on safe money vehicles.
If you're building your financial pyramid on risky high growth assets,
you're putting your future in danger and could be in for an ugly surprise.
I know many people who lost huge chunks of their retirement savings and sometimes
more than half of their retirement savings, simply because they built their
financial pyramid on risky assets rather than safe assets.
Now, the big question is if I need to build my financial pyramid on safe
assets and most safe assets are growing at less than 1% per year, where can I
possibly put my money where it will grow into a sizable nest egg?
That is a core question we will be answering in this handbook.
And in the following pages, you'll soon soon see why the and asset is the ultimate
safe asset that will not only let you build your financial pyramid on a secure
foundation, but will let your money grow into a sizable nest egg as
well as so many other benefits.
I hope you're as excited about this as I am.
So that's a quick intro into the financial pyramid.
And I think, uh, just by that quick overview, you can see how this goes
against so much of what people are teaching.
Almost everyone is teaching, put all your money into high growth, risky
assets, and almost building your entire retirement plan or future, uh, cashflow
plan on high growth, risky assets.
Right, right.
And it's, it's, it's scary.
It's clear.
It, and we know that when things, when bad things happen, um, and you have no
money, you have no money safe and it gets a lot more stressful and yes.
Can you get a better rate of return?
Yeah, probably.
And what's the cost of getting a better rate of return could
be a really poor thing.
And so, yeah, the financial pyramid is one of those core at like, we're not even
getting into life insurance at this point.
It's like, make sure you have a solid foundation.
I wish that was common knowledge.
It's not.
And I'm glad that we kind of set the stage, set the foundation, no
pun intended with that.
Yeah.
So that with that in mind, when you have that financial pyramid and that
foundation in mind of building your future on safe assets, then we go into,
uh, the other benefits and how they fill that safe foundation, but also how they
give so many other benefits, including growth, including, um, retirement benefits
and everything else that goes into it.
So the first thing I wanted to go into is in the second chapter, which is the
one-on-one or the big overview.
And this honestly is a broken down version of this whole
handbook in one chapter.
And it talks about the end asset being a multidimensional tool.
And this is really the core piece of the end asset as a whole, because the end
asset is so much more than a single dimensional tool.
And, and, and, and I know you're gonna break down down this, but it's like, this
is so key because some, so many people want to say, oh, this thing is bad because
of X it's like, okay, let's take a step back and like, let's make a decision.
Based way bigger than just one metric.
That's why my book has 16 metrics.
When I gave the presentation to tax bot, I gave nine just because I
didn't want to overwhelm people.
Nine elements to a perfect investment.
Um, and that just hopefully expands our brain.
And so this, this multi, this multidimension is a really, really
key aspect to what we teach.
Yep.
And again, I'm going to give you a quick snippet from the handbook.
And this is on section talking about the end asset being a multidimensional tool.
So if this is your first introduction to the end asset, then you should know that
at its core, the end asset is a specialized type of life insurance policy built with a
special type of life insurance company.
However, rather than thinking of this as life insurance or any other financial
vehicle for that matter, I want you to think of the end asset one moment as a
Imagine though that every dollar you put into this bucket will grow the rest of
your life, not even stopping at retirement.
Now, not only is the money in this bucket always expanding, but you also have
access to the money in this bucket and can take advantage of your money for
opportunities and emergencies all without ever taking money out of the
bucket and harming its growth.
It's also creating wealth that we passed on to the people you care about most and
create a legacy for multiple generations to come.
Finally, by simply putting money into the special bucket, you're getting a huge
list of extra benefits such as tax-free growth, tax-free use, tax-free
distribution once you pass away, and even protection of your income in the
case of disability or illness.
If you knew a bucket like this existed, how long would you wait to start using it?
Well, this amazing bucket is exactly what I'm going to be diving into with this
handbook.
And these amazing multidimensional benefits are why I believe the end asset is
going to be so transformational in your life.
Rather than looking at the name or stereotypes of a product, I'm asking that
you simply look at the pros and cons of every option available to you.
And I know you'll soon agree with me that the benefits of the end asset far out
class any other savings product or vehicle you may know.
Finally, remember that this is not made to be compared to other investments.
First, because it is not an investment, but also because it has so many additional
benefits and components.
It would be like comparing a steak knife to a Swiss army knife.
Since one is multidimensional and one is single dimensional, you just can't
measure them by the same standards.
So, yeah.
And again, going back to the picture, picture's really key.
Um, and I love this example of the end asset being the Swiss army knife versus
the steak knife.
I think that's a really good analogy and one of the biggest problems.
And by the way, thank you, Cindy, for downloading the handbook.
Um, one of the biggest problems that I see is a lot of people compare this to an
investment.
And you got to hear me really loud and clear that life insurance is not an
investment.
It may outperform an investment.
It may, by having it enhance your investments, but the end asset is not an
investment.
And that's going to be really important as we, as we go forward.
What other, what other things bounced out to you when you, when you looked at
this?
So there was really different pieces in every aspect of this and all the benefits.
Um, but I would say, honestly, the biggest thing that jumped out to me was in the
growth and control or sorry, that lifetime growth.
Yeah.
And I actually made a graphic chart that showed the compounding curve of, um, uh,
an example of someone saving a thousand dollars per month.
And I will find this and share with you the exact numbers, but okay, here it is.
So on page, what this is on page 30 of the handbook.
And, uh, I'll read you a quote from this as well, showing you the power of
lifetime compounding versus compounding to retirement, because when you realize
that most retirement accounts are only letting you compound to retirement and
you're starting to withdraw big money out of that and cut off the eighth wonder of
the world compound interest, you'll, you'll, you'll really see the difference
and the impact that this has.
So finally, we need to be looking at this from a lifetime perspective.
So many people are looking 10, 15 or 20 years down the road, but what about 10
years into retirement, 20 years into retirement, or even 30 years into
retirement, but if you could actually have more freedom in those years, since
your money has been growing consistently for the majority of your life and has
never stopped, you might find an alternative that looks like it has a
better rate of return, but if that rate of returns flows down or you stop
receiving the same uninterrupted compound growth in retirement, you'll be missing
out on a much bigger picture.
Remember, what result do you want?
If you want more access to money and more freedom, both today and in the
future, rate of return is a very small limited piece of the pie to show you a
final example of this and how crazy the value of lifetime compound growth is.
We're going to use the example of a 35 year old man.
We'll call him Jake who contributes a thousand dollars a month for 30 years
at a conservative 4% growth rate.
In 30 years, Jake is 65 years old and has accumulated $673,000 for retirement.
Now the big problem 99% of people make is they start taking money out of this
account to use for retirement income.
However, if Jake simply let this money continue growing, even without adding a
single penny to accelerate his growth, Jake would not end up with the $673,000
after 30 more years, but $2.18 million.
By simply letting his money sit and grow, his money grew more than three
times its original value at the start of retirement.
Now, when most people hear this, they think, well, there's no way I can let
my money just sit there for 30 years during my retirement.
How am I going to pay for anything?
And this is actually where life insurance surprises so many people and why it's
considered by many to be the most powerful retirement vehicle on the planet.
Rather than taking money out of your retirement savings, you can
borrow against your savings.
So you still have access to money to fund your retirement, but you're now
letting your money continue to grow and accelerate during the years, whereas
compounding has picked up the most momentum.
The graph below shows the true magnitude of this compounding and will not only
shock you, but will most likely make you a little angry that nobody
has shown you this before.
When you realize the power of uninterrupted compounding and start
taking advantage of it through the end asset, you will tap into a whole new
world of possibilities and your retirement is just one area where
you will see a massive impact.
You know, what's interesting about this graph is when we talk about lifetime
growth, I think a lot of people like to play like, Hey, you got to invest for
the long haul.
You got to invest for the long haul.
Well, what is, what do they do when they hit retirement?
They take their money out.
And so if you're actually playing the long haul game, why haven't you figured
out a solution to continue to get your money to grow?
One of the things, one of the things that, um, like is kind of an epiphany is when
our money can be at work, there can be some amazing things.
And so, yeah, one of the things that makes life insurance so powerful is you,
it's an asset that you can borrow against.
It's a really, really amazing, but it allows your money to continue to grow.
And, and do you want to explain like the epiphany and while you're, while
you're collecting your thoughts, um, Greg, thank you so much for commenting.
Greg, um, said I'm 58 years old and is the end asset right for me?
And, um, Mariah, who's behind the scenes is doing an amazing job and she's
pointing you to episode 108, um, is the end asset right for me?
Um, but I'll just answer your question right now.
And this is what I would say.
The end asset is think of it like a key that can unlock other
asset classes in retirement.
So while I can't straight up say it's the most amazing thing in the world and
it will help you, cause I don't know your situation, this is what I would say.
If you have money in the market and you want to figure out a way to
potentially create a volatility buffer, it could be an amazing asset.
If you have a pension, it could help you get more money from your pension.
If you have a potential annuity, cause annuities can be a good, depending
on what asset classes you have, it can help you get more out of your annuity.
If you have real estate, if you have a business that you're going to sell.
So there's so many factors and I don't know your financial situation, but I
wouldn't see the end asset as like a put your money in and magical
things are going to happen.
I would see it as a place where it's a safe place that has good tax benefits
that can unlock other assets.
And that's how we would see it.
And actually, ironically, what, what page on the end has and has it in
book looks like it's page 40.
I believe page 40 is where we delve into retirement.
We talk about the two risk, and then we also go into the multiple different
strategies, the sole retirement account, the pension maximization, the
volatility buffer, the backfill strategy, the reverse mortgage strategy.
Like, and the point is we could go on and on and on.
I wanted to be just, I want to give people the overview of how you could use it.
So that's how I would, if I'm, I'm, if I'm 58, that's, those are the things
that I want to know, and you can go to betterwealth.com.
You can go to betterwealth.com and you can schedule a guided assessment with
someone on our team that can actually look at your situation and give you a
better analysis on if they were in your situation, where they would look to.
Um, so thank you so much for watching.
And we're actually getting a lot of engagement via YouTube.
I really, really appreciate that.
Okay.
So yeah, back to the handbook.
Also going back to that, is this right for me?
That was one thing that I realized going through this, that with the different
plans, like we outlined three, three typical plans that people use when they
and literally no matter what stage you are, how old you are, what, how, like what
your income is, there is a plan for you.
And whether that's an end asset right now, or a pre-plan we can get, you can
get set up for this to take advantage of the benefits and be locked in for that.
So that was another powerful thing.
And I knew about that before.
Um, but just going over how powerful that is and how versatile it can be and how
universal it can be for anyone looking to get started.
So, um, that was, uh, just going back again to that lifetime compound curve.
It's not only is that powerful for during your life and knowing that you're
going to have that later in life, but as a retirement strategy, knowing that
your, your money is continuing to grow and you have that base always enhancing
is super, super powerful.
And, and, and what are the big risks in retirement?
The two big risks are future taxes and future losses like that.
That is why there's so many, like, that's why the safe withdrawal rates are low.
And that's just, there's just, there's a lot of volatility.
If you can take both taxes and losses out of the equation,
there could be some benefits.
I'm not saying that this is for all your money.
I'm saying there could be some benefits if you could figure out a contract that
could get some of your money, um, not, not volatile and tax advantage.
And another thing that goes along with that is one of the big things that I've
been really appreciating about the end asset and appreciating about, um, just
financial strategy in general is the power of protection and realizing that if
you don't have protection and that if you come into some sort of accident, or if
you're, you or your spouse has something happen to you, or if the economy changes
or if the taxes change or anything, and you don't have protection against that,
you're always going to be living in fear or worry.
And if you can just remove that, if you can put protection in place where no
matter what happens, you know, your baseline is going to be good enough to
cover your standard of living that you'll get through no matter what that, that in
my opinion is probably the most important thing that you can have in a financial
plan, because really who, who cares about the upside if you don't know that
you're going to survive or
yeah, I mean, here, here it goes back to the triangle.
It's goes back to the pyramid.
I mean, some would say that business is very risky.
I think there's, I think there's a lot of people that go under in business.
So am I saying am I anti-risk?
No, I'm, I'm anti non-calculated risk.
Okay.
So I have calculated, but we've also built our foundation.
So yes, building a foundation.
If you're going to build a foundation, make sure that you eliminate downsides.
Because if you really want to create risk, don't put your money in something
that you speculate and maybe get an eight or nine or 10% rate of return.
Like put your money in a place that can actually make a difference.
If you're going to put it at risk, make sure the foundation's safe.
I, I a hundred percent agree.
And that's why, that's why there's some other thing.
I mean, we were focused on the end asset because this is like we're doing this
handbook and obviously that's kind of what put us on the map, but there's other
products out there have nothing to do with life insurance that are not well
loved because there's a lot of misunderstanding, but are really, really
powerful to your financial life.
And stay tuned because we're going to be diving into that in the future as well.
And it's, and it's not, it's just, it's just like, I want people to
understand what's at stake here.
And that's why I'm willing to be.
So I'm willing to rock the boat a little bit because I want people to think.
And going back to that, that risk, a lot of people, they might be all for the
upside and not care about the risk as much because even if they lose it all,
they're fine, like they're, they're fine sleeping on the floor.
Like we, we probably are in that category where even if we lost it all, we'd rather
have the ability to build a business and to invest and to take those risks.
But knowing that baseline of like, is, is that baseline and is that
risk, are you willing to take it?
And because if that happens, like, will you actually be okay?
Not just, not just when a financial advisor says, are you okay with a 3%
risk, 5% risk, like it's what's the effect of that risk if it happens?
And are you okay with that?
So exactly.
You have to calculate it.
Exactly.
So, um, and the next thing it was in control and use.
And what page is that?
This is, uh, starts on page 33.
Going to page 33.
And, but the biggest thing, and it talks about the, the different types of, uh,
quote unquote swings that people use in their financial plans, the, uh, debtor,
the saver and the maximizer, and Caleb also talks about this book, but the big
thing that I wanted to highlight and which has really stood out to me about
this is the power of leverage, because if you can control not only your own money,
but if you can leverage money and use other people's money, then every single
gain you make every single return on investment is enhanced sometimes 10, 20,
a hundred X.
And to give you an example of this, I'm going to read another.
I'm seeing it on page 36 on the PDF.
And yeah, so yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
You'll, you'll have an updated PDF if you download the handbook.
Yes.
Well, and this is, by the way, this is an example of us going live before all
those procrastinators out there or perfectionist be inspired because we're,
we're still, we're still editing it, but it's like, it's very, you'll see,
it's very, very well done to date.
And so, yeah, on page 36, if you go to betterwealth.com slash handbook,
betterwealth.com slash handbook, you can get, you can get what we're talking
about and we're going to talk about the power of leverage, which by the way,
like is one of my favorite principles period, because it's like, we're coming
to you in form of leverage, like we're speaking in the studio and yet there's
people actually live watching this.
Then there's going to be people after the fact watching this, there's going to be
people on the podcast listening to this.
So it's, it's really cool.
Yeah.
All right.
So to go to the power of leverage and show you just a piece of what this can do, I'm
going to read another short snippet from the handbook.
So another important thing to know, and this is extremely important is that your
rate of return is far greater when you borrow money than if you use your own
money, this is known as leverage and leverage can be identified by the ability
to control a lot, just a little.
For example, you could take a loan of a hundred dollars for the small price of
Most people know this as the interest rate, which in this case is 5%, but here's
what most people don't think about.
If you can earn $12 in that investment, you have not just received a 12% rate of
return, rather than comparing the return on investment to the full $100, you need
to compare it to the actual amount of money coming out of your pocket, which is
only $5.
So in this case, you have made $12 from an investment of $5, which is
actually a 140% rate of return.
Now, not only did you just make a significantly higher rate of return than
you would have by using your own money, but all your money is still working for
you in your end asset.
And now you have a significant amount of money that you just created that can be
added to that and start increasing the compounding power of the end asset.
Once again, most people never think of money in this way, but if you can start
to see the power of leverage and take advantage of it, you will start to truly
gain an unfair advantage that makes this entire strategy even more powerful.
So this is just another piece that isn't even necessarily a, uh, something
that, and as it gives you, it doesn't guarantee that you're going to make
140% rate of return on investments, but it gives you the ability.
So when you start investing yourself as your greatest asset, once you start
using the principles we talk about, and once you start maximizing your ability
and use and knowledge, it gives you the ability and options to start investing
and make those insane rates of return through leverage.
And that's the point.
I'm glad that you pointed that out.
It's like, yeah, I just, I just want people to grasp that your money, a lot
of people say, Oh, a downfall is you have to borrow your own, you have
to pay to borrow your own money.
And it's like, yeah, I would stink if that was the case, but it's not the case.
You're actually, you actually have a paper asset that by the
way, you could withdraw, take out.
You don't need to borrow it if you don't want to, but the benefit of
borrowing against your life insurance is when set up and use properly.
Your life insurance cash will not be affected.
In fact, it will continue to grow.
Your death benefit won't be affected.
It will continue to grow and all the other benefits that come with that paper
contract and they give you capital, but that capital comes with a cost.
We call that control costs.
And in this case, you're saying it to borrow against your life
insurance, it might cost you five, $5, 5% for every hundred.
So instead of you going and putting up cash and getting a 12% rate of return,
like what most people would think of if they're just straight up investing with
cash, your money's continuing to do its thing.
You're putting up $5, making 12 and bam, that's 140% on rate of
return on your money instead of seven.
It's not the difference.
It's your, you're putting five out of your pocket and girding at 12.
And it's again, you got to be careful because option trading and all this
stuff, they can like blow up numbers.
But the point is leverage can be really, really powerful.
And it goes back to it's, it's a paper asset that gives you an ability
to use dollars in multiple places.
Yep.
And the crazy thing is that's not even coming out of your account.
Like your money is still growing the entire time.
And so it's, it's pretty crazy.
Then the final thing that I really want to highlight is, like I said before,
the protection aspect of this.
And again, it's, and where, where is that?
This is legacy and protection age 43 legacy and protection.
And there's another cool graphic here talking about how it
protects you in all stages of life.
Fun fact.
Um, I've not actually seen this.
I have not read this yet.
So if there's any errors, that's the disclaimer, I'm going to
be doing it over the weekend.
Um, so yeah, I love loving the picture.
Very good.
Um, and also it's not just protection, all stages of life since life insurance.
It also protects your family and your future generations after you die.
So like, it, it just blows my mind when you think of all the things that this
does for you, um, and more than you, your family, your future generations.
So the first thing is obviously the death benefit, but not only
does it have a death benefit.
It also has living benefits for protection, including the chronic
illness and terminal illness rider.
And, uh, to read out of the handbook for this, just quickly says the next
protection benefit is really important as well, because we live in a world
where long-term care is a hot topic.
A lot of these policies have a chronic illness and terminal illness
rider, also known as an accelerated benefit rider, which acts
a lot like a long-term care rider.
These are riders act very similarly to long-term care riders, because
you can spend a small portion of your death benefit on special care.
If something happens to you and you get chronic illness or can't
perform a number of daily activities.
Again, this is an additional benefit added to all the other
benefits you're already getting.
And it can be extremely useful for some people as it gives you the ability to
spend that money while you're living.
And then after that comes the waiver premium rider, which says now here's
another optional rider benefit, which a lot of people choose not to take
advantage of, but it's called a waiver premium, this waiver premium means
that if you get disabled, the rider will waive your need to pay the
premium and the company will pay the premium on your behalf.
Now there's some variability with this, as you don't always know if the
company will pay the payment on your behalf, or if they will waive
the payment on your behalf.
If they actually pay the payment, you're getting that money added to
your end asset, which increases your compound growth even more.
So this is just another incredible benefit.
And again, if you can protect your downside, if you can know that your
income is protected, whether you get injured, whether you get sick in
retirement, then it just gives a huge extra like protection and it
removes the fear and worry from your mind.
Yeah.
I think, I think a lot of times people, we, we get so caught up and I know this
is, this is my critique of, of how I first started.
I got so caught up in the living benefits of life insurance, which it's, it's
awesome, but the problem is, or I'm not just saying the problem, it's like,
it's really powerful that it also at the same time protects you more
than just when you die.
Yeah.
It's awesome when you die, your things will be taken care of, but it's like
there's, there, there are, there are things written in the contract that
give you benefit like the chronic illness rider, like the waiver premium.
And again, again, just like every contract's a little created a
little bit differently.
That's why you want to work with someone that understands this stuff.
But like, how do you put a rate of return?
Like, how do you factor that benefit of a chronic illness rider?
It's, it's really hard by the way.
And the fact is it's built in into the chassis of what we're doing.
And so that's really key.
I want to give Demetrius Walker a shout out.
One of my favorite individuals of all time.
Love, love you so much, man.
I'm so grateful that you're watching and thank you so much for commenting.
You talked about the importance of hedging slash stopping anyone's existing
portfolio and using life insurance as a place to really, I don't know if you
saw me earlier, um, but you said that like life insurance can be an and asset
that can help unlock so many other strategies.
It could be great for your portfolio and really, really appreciate that.
Um, keep up the good work that you're doing.
I love, love that you're commenting and watching.
Yeah.
And the final thing that I want to say is just the last two things are the ability
slash incentive to save more money and then your ability to invest in
yourself as your greatest asset.
Yeah.
So let's number one, save more money.
We are honest.
We, we do not save money.
It's so hard to save money.
When you look at taxes, when you look at our spending and you look at our bad
habits, like we struggle saving money, especially as entrepreneurs, investors,
like you're investing money.
Business owners are, are tend to be the most like broke people out there.
They're like, their businesses are hopefully doing good, but
they don't have any money.
It's kind of like the, the car mechanic is, is like their cars are the worst
because they don't have time to fix their own car.
Same thing when I think of like business owners, like they tend
to be like the least liquid.
The cool thing about this is like, this gives you the ability to save more money,
to save more money and continue to invest in the things that you care about, but
you're at least saving it in a solid foundation.
So that's number one.
Um, and then what was the second thing?
Uh, just the ability to invest in yourself as your greatest asset.
And then you have to ask yourself what system allows you to show
up more powerfully in your life.
And again, I'm not saying that the end assets, the gold, like the silver
bullet, I'm saying that I, I can perform better when I have a stronger
foundation than, than if I was worried about what, what was to come.
Did you, is there anything that you wanted to read or did you
just want to point those out?
Yeah, no, just on the saving more money side.
It's not only do you have the ability to save more money because
you have control, you have growth, you have all these incentives
to want to save more money.
But it enhances every other benefit again.
So it's not like, it's not just, you have those benefits
so you can save more money.
The ability to save more money is enhancing those benefits even more.
So it's just a compound cycle and a flywheel that keeps spinning.
So, so just want to reiterate again, first of all, great job.
And I'm saying that before I read this, so we'll see if I
have to say that on, uh, on Sunday morning.
Um, but anyways, so what I want, what I want you to know is we are very,
very excited to hear your feedback.
So if you go to betterwealth.com slash handbook, check it out, um, get your
free copy, let us know your thoughts.
And you can either email me directly at Caleb at betterwealth.com.
Um, you could also email the info box at info at betterwealth.com and we
are super pumped for what's to come.
And there's, I mean, this is just, again, super comprehensive and I'm, I'm
excited to hear your thoughts and we're also very coachable.
So if there's, I know there's some, some of the people that listen to us.
Like to coach us, which I appreciate that.
Um, any, any final thoughts, Aaron?
I know that you've put a lot of hours into this and you've, you've definitely
like, you've, you've had your eyes open.
I know you've pointed some of those out.
And so any, any final thoughts?
Yeah.
I just want to say that the whole reason we're making this and that like, I
worked so hard on this is because we want to impact people and we want to
show people that the truth and the ways that they can actually start seeing
more freedom and security in their life.
So if you're going through this, I would love to hear what your thoughts
are, what your questions are, because.
I, I want this to help you.
So if there's anything, you have any questions, we want to answer those
questions and we want to make sure that this serves you in the best possible way.
So if we can get your feedback, like not only us as a company, but I personally
would really, really appreciate that.
And yeah, it would just mean a lot.
Yep.
Josh Simmons.
Thank you so much for also reaching out on YouTube.
Um, we are very excited that you're going to be reading this.
We can't wait to hear your thoughts.
Uh, Cindy, thank you so much.
Matrix.
Thank you so much, Greg.
Thank you so much.
Like I, uh, we just, it's really cool.
Like we, when we first started these kind of quote unquote live, which
we are live, by the way, but it's like, Oh, we'll just do something on
Friday and then put it on the podcast.
It's always a plus when you're not doing it alone.
And so thank you.
Um, better off.com slash handbook.
Check it out.
Let us know your thoughts.
And, uh, you can learn way more at just better wealth.com.
You can check out our assessment.
You want to talk to somebody on our team to learn more.
You can go to better wealth.com, go take our guided assessment.
And you will actually work with someone on our team that will help
you figure a lot of this stuff out.
Because even with 54 pages or 50 pages of really concise stuff, a lot of times
what's lost is like how to, how to actually apply it to your life and case
study, all those things help, but at the end of the day, you need to find
someone that you trust that knows this stuff that can help you make decisions.
And we're very, very clear that the end asset is not for everyone.
And I think one of the big problems is some people that shouldn't have the
end asset, try to try to get like want one and it just doesn't fit well.
And we will also be the company that tells you that, um, because we want
to be around for the long game.
All right.
Thank you so much.
Have an amazing Friday and make sure to continue to live an intentional life.
Thanks guys.
