Hey guys, welcome back to my channel or if you're new here, welcome. My name is Janae.
In today's video, I am going to be showing you guys how I styled my dining slash kitchen area
and I styled it for spring as well as Easter. So I'm super excited. A lot of the stuff that
I'm using today was stuff that I picked up in my recent spring decor haul. So I'm finally
starting to style these pieces, which is very exciting. And if you guys missed that video,
I will have it linked down below because I did pick up quite a few spring items this year.
And like I said, I'm also styling a little bit for Easter, which is something that I don't
typically do, but I wanted to just try something new and I think it turned out really cute. So
I'm excited to see what you guys think. And of course, everything that I am styling today,
I will have linked down below in the description box as well. So yeah, without further ado,
let's just jump right into it. Starting off with this white round ceramic base that I picked up
from Target. I'm adding these long green leaf stems that I also picked up from Target. These
are really great. They look very realistic. I love the color of the green. They are super duper long,
so I had to bend them like two or three times just to make them fit, but only using two did
give me a ton of fullness. And then I just went in and did my usual, I will bend and twist the
stems just to make them look a little more natural. And this year I really wanted to add a
pop of color. So I went in with these beautiful blush pink roses that I got from a floral and
these are so realistic looking. These might be the most realistic faux flower that I have seen,
and they were only like $6, which is so affordable for a floral. So I added three of those. And like
I said, I just wanted a little pop of color just to kind of get away from all the neutrals that we
always see. And then I went in and I added some white cosmos that I got from Hobby Lobby. And I
love these. I have a ton of these. I use them throughout my whole house. They're super affordable.
They're beautiful. And again, I only had to use two of them because these are actually very full
as well. And they gave it a little more of that like wildflower look, which I absolutely love. So
I went in and put those in there and I did the exact same thing where I will just go in and bend
and twist the stems just to kind of make it blend a little bit better and look a little more natural.
And I just loved how this turned out. I always like to have a candle lit on my dining table.
So this time I went in with this wood riser from McGee and Co. and added this blush pink candle
just to tie in the pink from those peonies. And then I added these seagrass salt and pepper
shakers from Pottery Barn. And I didn't have any salt and peppers, so I know they're empty,
but I love them. I like that they're in like a little bit of a darker tone. I think seagrass
is so beautiful for spring. So this look was very simple, but I loved how it turned out.
Moving over to my kitchen window, I'm adding my favorite vase at the moment. It is this
beautiful olive jar that I picked up from Home Goods. I'm just obsessed with it. And when I was
in Pottery Barn the other day, I saw these willow eucalyptus stems and I could not pass these up.
I love them. They are definitely on the pricier end, but you guys, they are so pretty. So I picked
up two bundles of those and they looked beautiful in this olive jar. And then right behind the vase,
I added this gold arched mirror that I got from Target last year and then placed this piece of
petrified wood right in front of that. And when I was at Home Goods, I saw this canister. It was
actually in the bath section. It was only $5.99, but I loved the flutedness of it and I liked that
it came in a green color. It looked very spring. So I don't know if this is supposed to be used for,
but I'm going to use it as a candle holder. So I just took the lid off and placed a faux candle
in there and I just think it came out very pretty. If you guys saw my last spring haul,
you saw that I picked up this large wooden riser from Ike & Co. And this is probably my favorite
piece in my kitchen. It's so stunning. And then I also picked up this beautiful ceramic pitcher
from Amazon and I showed it in my last video. And as soon as I opened it up, I was just immediately
obsessed with it. And I'm using mine to hold my utensils. And then I just added my usual oil and
vinegar that I use all the time when cooking. And then I went in with this berry bowl that I picked
up last year from Target. It's from the Hearth and Handline. And I added these faux grapes that
I got from Michael's last year. And then when I was in Target in the dollar section, I saw these
really cute wooden eggs and it comes in this little folder. And I just thought it was so cute and
simple and nice and neutral. So I added that right next to the grapes and then just added my gold
spoon. And I like the little touch of Easter, but keeping it still very simple. Over on the other
side, I'm using my new cookbook holder that I got from Magnolia Home and I'm adding this bread
on the table book. I think the colors just look really pretty together. And then I just added my
normal pepper and salt mills and they're in like a beautiful brass color. And I got this trinket
dish and I showed you guys this in my last video as well, but this is just super pretty. And it's
from Holistic Habitat and I just use it to house my garlic and I just pull from it when I'm cooking.
And then I just added my utensil holder and I love the little splash of Easter,
but still keeping it very functional and simple.
Moving over to my kitchen island, I wanted to keep this again kind of simple, but I know I
wanted to add a little bit of Easter here as well. So I went in with another one of my favorite
McGee and Co pieces. This is this beautiful decorative bowl. I'm just so obsessed with it.
I absolutely love the look of it and I knew I wanted to add some Easter filler in here. So I
first placed this dish towel that I got from Target. And when I was over at HomeGoods, I saw
this set of six cement Easter eggs and I thought these were so cool. So I've seen these decorative
Easter eggs all over. I think McGee and Co has a set of three for like $60 and this was only $9.99
and they were very neutral, but they were like a really good size and I just loved them. I thought
they were super cool. So I placed all six in the bowl and right next to that, I placed this little
green plant that I got from the Target spring collection. It didn't have anything to put a
candle on, so I ended up just using a lid from one of my canisters and just placed this little
white candle on it. And I don't know, you guys, you guys will have to let me know what you think.
I've never decorated for Easter, so I think it came out really cute, but I'm just so curious
to see what you guys think. Okay, so that wraps up everything for this video. I hope that you
enjoyed watching. If you did, please don't forget to like and subscribe. Any type of support you
can send my way is always so appreciated. And thank you guys so much for watching and I will
see you in my next video. Bye!
