Chris, when you feel like it, say tapeworm.
Right there, my friend.
Take out the card.
You show it to the people at home.
Make sure they can see it, okay?
And realize my sleeves, they're up.
I'm being as fair as I possibly can.
Now watch.
Gonna try to find your card just by giving a little blow.
There, like that.
I saw a man on YouTube, he was blowing a deck.
As a lot of you know by now,
I take you guys being my fans very, very seriously.
And one of the ways I sort of show that
and you guys know about this is I read the comments.
I'm one of these YouTubers who I really read your comments
and try to reply to as many of them as I can.
And one of the great things about that
is I get a sense of how you guys are experiencing
a video or the videos I'm releasing.
And so this is my sleeves up pass.
And I actually shared this on this channel,
I don't know, two years ago or so.
And I saw with regularity there were comments
saying that people were getting confused,
that they weren't sure about the action,
this and that, so I wanted to redo this
and really make sure you get it,
that sort of I communicated correctly this time
because it's a beautiful control,
it's natural, it's easy, okay?
So let's jump on in here, okay?
So it is the secret control of a selected card
from the middle of the deck to the top of the deck, all right?
Now, for those who think for a second
that we're experiencing card magic,
oh, it's a kind of natural cover for a pass, it's not.
This is not really a traditional pass at all, okay?
Because traditional passes require this,
typically require fast actions and tricky on angles
and all this, this is not like that, okay?
So let's walk through this.
I dribble through the cards,
I don't just mean a whole lot of spitty, spit, spit, spit'em.
I'm dribbling the cards.
Someone you have, someone call stop or whatever,
they take a look at the card,
in this case, the five of clubs.
Now, I come over and as I say, and this is the key line,
I say, notice my sleeves are up
so I'm being as fair as possible.
Notice my sleeves are up so I'm being as fair as possible.
That's your script, okay?
So this is here.
Now, we'll leave this face up for now.
It'll be easier for you guys to follow along.
I come over and I put the deck down
and I'm keeping a break with my pinky
between the low, right?
So the break is between the selected card
and the rest of the pack.
My hands come over and I hold the deck here.
Now, I am in this position
and I'm gonna turn everything over.
I haven't done a move.
There's no slight.
There's no quick action.
There's nothing.
I just simply turn everything over.
Now, I then, while holding the upper half
with my first finger and thumb here,
my left hand travels up the arm, okay?
I'm cradling.
I'm holding.
I'm kind of balancing with my one pinky on top.
I'm balancing this packet as I go up and point
to show my sleeve is up.
Now, I'm gonna complete the action, complete the circle
because I'm now symmetrically gonna repeat the same form
by then just pointing to this sleeve
and then dropping everything down.
Bring the selected card to the top, all right?
So let's look at this again, this time with the face.
So I dribble through.
They call stop.
You could show the card and then bring your hand down
or you can have someone take it and put it back there, okay?
Or in fact, you can spread the cards,
have someone grab any card they want.
They've got a card, then divide the pack here
and say, go ahead, put your card back.
And they all get you the same position,
the selected card on top of the bottom half.
I lower down, pinky's there.
I turn, I re-grip.
I kind of take my left hand
and I kind of put the pinky in a little deeper, okay?
And that's an old meatloaf song.
Then I turn the hands over, no action.
And I go up the sleeve and point
and over here and point and drop.
Bring the selection to the top.
