Jack Wilshere Is Confident Frank Lampard Will Make A Comeback & Praises His Wealth of Experience! 👏

We're lucky enough to have so many superstars on the pitch and I'm delighted to say we can talk to one now He's our mate. He's an absolute legend and he goes by the name of Jack Wilshere and he joins us now live Hello, Jack Wilshere. Hello, Andrew. Hello, Darren. How are you? I'm very well. Thanks. Well, well played Thank you. What did you make of the game? You know what? I thought our gaffer got it, right? I thought the first half Was tight it was intense. There weren't much space And we had to find a way of staying in it and we did score a couple of nice goals And then put on the pace in the second half and you killed him. So very good. Very happy Jack Did it start to get a little bit? I know expose alike. Did it start to get a little bit? I'm trying to think the right word legally fiery. Yeah, but fiery Yeah, of course like the photo it was like that last time you played an event You like the first five minutes are nice. You get the ball you pass it. You've got a bit of space But then all of a sudden the the winner in the pros kicks in and it becomes tighter Yeah, I mean listen we wanted to win and even like when you're building up to the game as a pro You know, it's like you're feeling that and yes, we're here for a great cause but we also want to win What was it like playing on a pitch with superstars alongside you? I mean hazard look fantastic Yeah, I mean listen, I played against him enough in my career He's probably I would say top three that I've ever played against and you can see he's still got it away He just sticks his bum in you can't get the ball off him But you know what I thought like Tom Grennan, I thought Sam Thompson done well in the first half And the celebs this year I felt were better with their perform better than they they did last year and that always helps Yeah, when you look at Ellen White's goals, I think she set a record They're being the first female to score at Soccer Aid I mean you put on a plate for her, but which is part tempted to shoot yourself Benny. You've seen my shooting me Yes, there's no way I was shooting. No way in this world. You know what? I saw I saw Peter commit and I just want now I'm just gonna go around him Then I did have a little bit because because I was in on goal is open But I think it was every done well to block it off and you know, I didn't even see her Then I saw Tom Sam and I rolled it across and she just put it in lovely Jack We thought this was more intense than any other Soccer Aid I don't know if it's because England have been on a losing streak for so long or the players were better But literally from the off usually it's played like a testimonial placement from the off It just like everyone was desperate to win this game Yeah, you know again Frank Lampard in the in the dressing room like Like I said, we're here for a good cause that he made it clear he gave simple instructions to us to us pros and to the Celebs to try and help them and I thought we executed it Well, and you're right the tackles were fine. I felt especially in the first half. It was intense. There was a few naughty tackles and you just go into game mode when you're when you're a pro and you want to win and like the refs there and you're Getting on the ref and yeah, it felt like it was good. It was nice to be back out there I felt like a proper game. Let me ask you mentioned Frank Lampard a few times. What will his next job be? Well, I mean, I've read a few things, but I don't I don't know if they're true. He'll definitely go again He's a young coach. He's got a lot of experience for a young coach in my opinion He's obviously been at Chelsea gonna ever and been for relegation battle then went back to Chelsea and in difficult circumstance So he'd have learned loads loads from that and you know There's gonna be a lot of movement with coaches as there already has been in this summer And I'm sure he'll be he'll be in a few people's people's heads when it comes to picking their next a coach Jack I'd love to keep talking to you. But of course, I understand. I appreciate it's late. It's a school night Your mother's picking you. I would say I'd love to keep talking to you, but Gordon smarts over there Genuinely I thought you superb tonight From you is life. I know everyone's a PT tonight. So what we love you. We love the fact you've come on to talk sport
