Bounce back. That's the objective for both Torino and Lazio.
The hosts are hurting after their midweek cup exit at the hands of Empoli
and don't want to lose their unbeaten status in Serie A
after three wins and two draws from the opening five league fixtures.
For their part, Lazio are still smarting following their narrow loss
at Fiorentina last time out.
But they did boost morale earlier this week with victory on the continental front.
Can they build on that 3-0 win?
Or will the Granata show their cup loss was just a mere blip
and prolong their strong start at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino?
It is Torino-Lazio.
And here's how the hosts will line up today in goal.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic failed a late fitness test,
so Alberto Pagliari has handed his debut for Torino.
With order returns from injury to take his place in Toro's three-man defence,
Ricci has handed the keys to the midfield.
In attack, Sanabria gets the nod ahead of Shea Adams and partners
captain Duván Zapata.
So only Provodel, Romagnoli, Rovella and Boulay-Diar,
the survivors from the starting eleven from the midweek triumph
in the Europa League as Marco Baroni shuffles his pack once again.
Of those coming back into the side, keep an eye on Tati Castellanos,
who has netted three from his four appearances so far.
He needs just one more to match his entire goal haul from last season.
What have we just been for?
That man there, Boulay-Diar, a brace against Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League.
His European debut for the club.
Can he now strike on the domestic front?
Final checks from Simone Sotsa.
We're underweight.
Lazio playing from right to left in their change.
Yellow strip.
Torino in their Granada colours, their famous Granada strip.
Vojvoda, he went back the ball, Vojvoda.
It's really scrappy.
Notavarš on the burst.
Notavarš with the pullback.
This is Kentusi!
The Frenchman gives Lazio an early lead.
Eight minutes on the clock.
It's his first goal since he scored in this fixture.
Back in February.
That day, Lazio went on to win 2-0.
Are we going to see a repeat here today?
Full marks to Nuno Tavarš.
His fourth assist since joining the club over the summer.
And full marks to Kentusi.
Burying it beyond Pagliari.
To Lazaro for Tony Sinabria.
Vojvoda.
Bonasosa.
Adamazina.
Tony Sinabria for Duvan Zapata.
Back with Sinabria.
Tried to float it towards Ivan Ilić, who had made the dart into the box.
Didn't quite work out.
It sums up Torino's first half so far.
Lazari.
Notavarš.
Always rising from the Portuguese full-back.
He's become the first player in the three points for a win era
to make it four assists in his first four appearances in Serie A.
Notavarš driving through the middle.
Isakson for Tati Kastejanos.
And Pagliari will just watch it out.
Zakani.
Give and go with Tati Kastejanos.
Zakani.
Kastejanos.
Kentusi.
And Lazari is looking for Zakani and Tati Kastejanos.
The two attacking players were both there.
Neither one nor the other, though.
Able to work Pagliari.
Kastejanos with the last touch.
Zapata.
Towards Ilić.
Was he fouled?
We're playing on.
Sinabria.
Sinabria bundled to the ground,
but the referee tried to give the advantage
and then rewarding the foul and coming back to the initial foul.
Ivan Ilić clipped there.
Lazaro and Salcoco standing over it.
Here's Valentino Lazaro.
It's a deflection.
Toro chance to keep Lazio pinned back.
And Ivan Provodel through the middle.
Samuel Arrici wins the header.
Tamizé towards Zapata.
Bonassoza.
There's time and space here.
This is Bonassoza.
Provodel gets his body behind the ball.
Adamazina.
Ivan Ilić towards Sinabria.
There's a missed kick there.
Huge relief for the Lazio rear guard.
Danger not over, though.
Salcoco.
Vojvoda for Tamizé.
Novella getting back.
Lazaro.
Vojvoda.
Sinabria.
Ilić.
Provodel keeps it out.
And then Tamizé back into the mix.
Zapata.
And again, Ivan Provodel.
Two saves in quick succession.
Provodel preserves Lazio's narrow lead.
Tzakanyi.
Tzakanyi for Tavarš.
Tavarš going the long way round.
Nuno Tavarš.
Towards Bulaidzha.
Paliari gets down low to make the save.
Bulaidzha.
Nuno Tavarš.
Bjorn Lazaro.
Still with Nuno Tavarš with the ball across the face of the box.
And are we going to have time for the corner?
We're not.
The referee brings the curtain down on the first half with Lazio
closing out the first 45 minutes on the front foot again.
Nuno Tavarš with a foray forward and a ball into the box.
Portuguese fullback who set up the goal that splits the two teams
from Matteo Genduzzi at the break, the first of the season for the Frenchman.
Ivan Provodel called into action in the closing stages of the first half
on Ivan Ilić and then Duvan Zapata.
Torino lacking, though, that cutting edge.
And Torino will be trying to find solutions at the break
so they can find a way back into the match in the second half.
At the break, it is Torino 0, Lazio 1.
Hello again and welcome back to the Estadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
Ivan Ilić and his players emerging for the start of the second period.
They showed some positive signs towards the end of the first half.
Now, confirmation of those changes.
One of those markers, Pedersen coming on, the Norway international.
Pedersen coming on for Sosa and Tamizé.
Midfielder off and Shea Adams coming on, a Scottish flag inside the ground
as a sign of support for the Scottish international.
Torino getting us back underway.
Let's see how that double change will impact the Granada.
They look to find a way back into this match.
Mazzina route one stuff forward, Duvan Zapata and then Shea Adams.
Zapata then bundling into Manuel Lazzari.
Nuno Tavares flicked on by Isakson, not cleared away.
And now Tati Castellanos and Pagliari palms it away.
Ball in by Nuno Tavares, Duvan Zapata failing to clear it.
Fell to Tati Castellanos and the Argentine stinging the gloves of Pagliari.
Curled in by Isakson.
There's the header down.
It's a real scramble and Pagliari once again coming to the rescue for Torino.
Lazzaro, Shea Adams shaping up to shoot.
It's spilled by Provodel and he's grateful to see it go out in behind for a corner.
The impact of Shea Adams then on at the break, looking to inspire Torino.
It comes from Illich, punched away by Provodel.
Ricci, played in by Ricci.
Genduzzi heads it away.
Latino Lazzaro, a lot more dangerous since the introduction of Shea Adams.
They have more firepower up top.
Zanabria loses out to Rovella.
Genduzzi, Castellanos, Isakson, still with Isakson.
Pulaidia, he applies the finishing touch and he doubles the Bianco Celestis lead.
What a week it's been for the Senegal international, a brace in the Europa League.
And now he nets his third of the season in Serie A.
And he puts Lazio another step closer to the win.
Genduzzi spearheading the counter.
Castellanos, is this number three?
Castellanos!
And then on the rebound, Isakson can't make it count.
Otopse from Pagliari, he's kept Torino's faint hopes alive.
Lugnir, still with the Swede, curling strike.
It was awkward for Provodel.
Illich, still with Illich.
Now Vlasic offloads, Shea Adams, shaping up to shoot!
And he gives Torino a lifeline.
What an impact from the substitute.
He is loving life in Italy, loving life in Granada colours.
His fourth goal now between league and cup.
Messino on, Pellegrini on for his first league appearance of the season.
Taking over from Isakson in behind, Tati Castellanos.
Still seeking his first goal for Lazio, Lugnir.
Sosa coming across, he's going back into his pocket here.
It's a red.
Paolo Vanoli has been sent to the stands here.
Illich, he spotted Pedersen, chested down by Pedersen, nice turn of pace.
The referee's down, then Shea Adams across.
And back up on his feet now, Shea Adams.
He can only loop it over the bar.
Maripan away from Castellanos.
And runs into trouble, Gendouzi picks his pocket.
Castellanos racing through on goal here.
Torino getting him back quickly.
Illich, Pedersen, curled in towards Shea Adams.
This is Shea Adams.
And he's dragged it wide.
He's sliced his shot.
The Scottish international.
Tijani Nozlin will come on.
Straight swap for Tati Castellanos.
Nozlin who hit the headlines for the wrong reasons in the week.
Sent off against Dynamo Kiev.
Here is Nozlin.
Nozlin for Zakani.
Played in by Luca Pellegrini.
Messino for Tijani Nozlin.
He's only just come on.
And he restores Lazio's two-goal cushion.
And he's sealed the win in the final minute of normal time.
Not even a minute on the pitch.
That's all he's needed, Tijani Nozlin.
His first goal in Lazio colours.
And Baroni breathes a huge sigh of relief.
After the Torino fight back.
But there's surely no way back now for Van Aley's men.
Nozlin left unmarked.
Vecino poked it through.
And then a poachers finish from Nozlin.
Volodya enjoys a well-earned rest.
He's scored the second of Lazio's three goals this afternoon.
Floated in by Ivan Ilic.
Mazzino across.
Salcocco on the volley.
And the defender sets up a grandstand finale in added time.
There's still three minutes to be played.
And Torino reignite their hopes just when they
seem to have been extinguished.
Salcocco, the defender, his second goal in Torino colours.
Just when some fans were leaving the stadium,
they thought they'd seen enough acrobatic effort
from Salcocco, transforming himself into a striker.
Provodel got a touch.
It wasn't enough.
It's a canyon.
Pokes it towards Nozlin.
Maripan safety first.
Referee looks at his watch.
Volodyan Tavares watching on, just wanting and urging
that full-time whistle to come.
The five minutes of added time are up.
Vecino.
Lazio.
Survivor late scare and pick up their first away win
of the season.
Bouladiarre amongst the scorers, netting Lazio's second.
Salcocco gave Torino some hope in added time.
But it wasn't enough.
Marco Baroni oversees Lazio's first three points
on the road this season.
Gendouzi amongst the scorers for the Bianco Celesti.
Baroni taking his total points, sallying out to 102 in Serie A.
Final score here, Torino 2, Lazio 3.
