________________________________________________________________

With great media interest, the court of Stuttgart found the criminal proceedings against entrepreneur Michael Beilweg.
The founder of Querdenken 7.11 is accused of fraud, attempted fraud and tax evasion.
In June 2022, Beilweg was searched by the public prosecutor's office for housing and business premises in Stuttgart.
The accusations were backed up by donations of over 1 million euros,
which were intended for Querdenken 7.11, but were also supposed to have been abused for private purposes.
The public prosecutor's office has tried five tax evasions in four cases,
as well as tried commercial fraud in 9,450 cases.
The case is currently on trial until April 2025, according to the court of Stuttgart.
Today, the case against Michael Beilweg began in front of the 10th Grand Economic Court.
The case is on trial until April 29, 2025.
I would like to point out that we are here in a complex economic criminal proceeding.
For this reason, further negotiation days were also possible.
Michael Beilweg himself denies all allegations and confirms that his actions always aimed to protect fundamental rights.
It was an important day for me because I have been out of prison for over a year.
The processing has now started.
I became aware again when the indictment was read out how important our work in 2020 was for fundamental rights.
The public prosecutor's office has rightly suggested that Querdenken is a movement for fundamental rights.
I have not done anything wrong and have done everything I promised.
I have organized many large demonstrations.
Therefore, the allegations are absurd and have gone too far.
The lawyer's team around Dr. Alexander Christ does not rule out a political proceeding in the, from their point of view, gaping indictment.
It is very striking that the state, through its organs, tries to dig up the water for the measures critics who dared to express their opinion in the Corona time.
And that proceedings, as I have already indicated, are told in advance,
and that you have to defend yourself against it in long-term proceedings.
Of course, this takes people into strong demand.
It costs a lot of money, a lot of power, a lot of energy.
And may prevent one or the other from further expressing their resistance to certain deteriorations in our living conditions.
In this respect, this can definitely be called a political proceeding.
Various supporters have gone to Stuttgart to get an idea of the proceedings.
I came here today because I want to have the information firsthand.
And Michael Ballweg is a stepping stone in society for me.
I know him personally, I got to know him and am now on a page where I realize that this is about freedom, it is about our fundamental rights.
And I am very grateful to him for actively taking action.
