Zhang Shuai vs. Greet Minnen | 2024 Beijing Round 3 | WTA Match Highlights

That's a solid start from Minan. She's quite easy to predict that she's gonna win a grandson, right? Great movement, getting to position, especially on that previous forehand. Leaned into it. Inspired play. There's just no stopping Jiang Shuai at the moment. No wonder the smile on the face of the coach. Her game face is still on. She knows it's not done yet, Jiang Shuai, but she does have a one-set lead. Brilliant set of tennis from her. 6-2. That was a big point and she was under pressure early. Turned it around, however. Incredible stuff from Jiang Shuai. She's never gonna miss that one. And how about that backhand down the line? Additionally, a brilliant hit from Minan as she gets the break right back. Then got in as a lucky loser in New York. She's made it. Didn't catch it entirely cleanly, but still plenty enough. The better hitting partner, it is better you are returning bigger serves. She returned that serve just fine. Great hit. Backing up that serve. More sensational feel from Jiang Shuai. I cannot believe the points we're seeing right now. Jiang Shuai back to winning ways at the China Open and keeps it going. Fantastic tennis from Jiang. That is a very nice exchange between the players up at the net. And Jiang Shuai has done it to go through to the fourth round. Oldest player to be in that round since, well, Venus 2014. Celebrations all around.
