Hey guys, Tina here. Welcome back to my channel.
I hope you guys are all doing amazing.
Today, I'm going to do a daytime makeup look and hair for you guys.
So, if you want to learn how to recreate this makeup look or hairstyle,
please keep watching and I'll show you how.
The first thing I'm going to do is apply my Embroidery Lease Moisturizer.
And I'm just going to apply that all over my face.
For foundation, I'll be using my Makeup Forever HD Foundation in the shade 123.
And I'll be applying that with my Real Technique Buffing Brush.
So, I've just popped some foundation onto a palette.
And I'm going to spread that all over my face and really buff it into my skin.
I feel like this foundation is similar to the MAC Studio Fix one.
Coverage wise, I mean.
This one feels a bit lighter on the skin.
So, I prefer the Makeup Forever one.
And if you guys are wondering, in MAC, I am NC30.
So, in Makeup Forever, that's equivalent to 123.
It's easy to remember.
Next, I'm going to conceal with my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20.
And I'll be applying that underneath my eyes using my fingers.
And this is going to cover up my lovely eye bags.
My very expensive designer eye bags, I might add.
So, I'm just going to work it in underneath and pat it in and bring that up as well.
So, it sort of lifts my face.
Now, once I've got it all patted down, I'm going to grab a damp beauty blender.
And I'm just going to work that in using a patting motion.
This is actually quite relaxing.
It's like a little facial massage in the morning.
Which is probably not a good idea because you want to go back to bed, right?
Cool. So, no more under-eyed designer bags here.
So, I'm going to go ahead and set my base with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit.
And I'll be using the shade Banana.
I'll be pressing that in with my Ray Morris Mineral Buffer Brush.
So, I'm just going to pat that into my skin.
For my skin type, I am a combination skin type.
So, my T-zone tends to get really oily.
So, I really like to press it into those areas.
Just to prevent me from looking like a grease ball at the end of the day.
Now, for a day look, I don't do any heavy cream contouring.
I like to use powder to lightly contour the areas and give my face a bit more definition.
So, I'll be going in with the middle shade here in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Kit.
And I'll be applying that shade with my Ray Morris Deluxe Blender Brush.
So, I like to contour the hollows of my cheeks and really lift my face up.
So, I'll apply it on the side there underneath my cheekbone.
Also, I feel like I've got a really ugly hairline.
So, I always like to contour that in.
Then, I like to contour the sides of my nose just to make it a bit slimmer and taller.
Just really lightly.
I don't want to go too heavy-handed and look all drag queen.
I like to focus especially on the tip because I feel like I've got a bulbous tip.
Oh, that word, bulbous.
Not a really nice word, right?
And I also like to sort of brush underneath and really lift my nose up.
So, pretty happy with that.
Let's move on.
Next, I like to move on to blush since I'm already working on my base.
I might as well do my blush now since everything's set.
So, I'll be using my Deluxe Kabuki Brush from Ray Morris.
And I'll be applying my MAC Fluid Power Blush.
Cool. So, I'm just going to swirl my brush around.
Grab some of that product and sweep it on top of where I contoured.
And I always like to bring my blush up
instead of doing two circles around the apples of my cheeks.
I always like to bring that color up.
That way, it lifts your face.
Now, I'm going to move on to my brows.
You guys have probably seen my brow tutorials up on my channel.
If you haven't, just click here to watch it.
And I'm going to quickly do that off camera and be right back.
Okay, so now my brows are on.
I didn't do anything too special with them.
I pretty much just did my everyday routine
where I just filled in with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel.
And I used a clean brush to really work that color forward and blend it in.
Now, my lips are extremely, extremely dry.
It is autumn in Sydney.
So, it's the season of the chapped lips, right?
I'm going to go in with my Dr. Lip Nipple Balm for lips.
Yes, I said nipple balm.
Don't ask me why it's called that.
I don't ask.
I don't question it.
I just apply nipple balm on my lips.
Don't judge me.
I'm guessing this was probably an original nipple balm like it states
and then someone decided to put it on their lips
and was like,
Oh, voila!
It's amazing!
Yeah!
Because that person was French.
Okay, so let's move on to eyes.
As usual, I'll be starting off with my MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot
and I've already applied that all over my lid
and set it with a light eyeshadow.
Next, I'll be using the color Desert from the Stila In The Know Palette
and I'll be using my Ray Morris Cream Shader Brush
to apply that onto my crease.
So, I'm just going to blend this shade where my crease is
and I'm just going to work it out going back and forth, back and forth
and really diffusing that line out.
Now, as this is a natural daytime look,
I'm not going to go too heavy with my eyeshadows.
So, I'm going to stick to more browns and sort of neutral colors.
Next, to further define my eyes,
I'll be using the shades Driftwood and Earth mixed together
and I'll be using the same brush to apply that
into the outer corner of my eyes.
So, I'm going to focus this color on the outer corner of my eyes
and really blend that up into my crease.
Next, I'll be applying my MAC Naked Pigment
using my Ray Morris Lashline Smudge Brush.
Now, I've just wet my brush with a setting spray
and that's going to help intensify the pigment.
So, I'm just going to grab some of that pigment
and apply that just under here, under my crease.
This is going to add some highlight to my lid
and I'm going to bring that color forward as well to the inner corners
just to really make my eyes look brighter.
Cool! So, now I'm going to move on to my liner.
Today, I'll be using a dark brown liner from MAC called Dip Down
and I'll be applying that on with my Precision Eyeliner Brush
again from Ray Morris.
So, the reason why I've opted for a brown shade
is because for a day look, I don't want it to look too harsh
and black can be too harsh sometimes.
So, a dark brown is a really nice way to soften the look up.
Next, I'm going to apply a very light natural pair of eyelashes.
So, I'm going to wait for that to dry and then apply mascara
but whilst that's dry, I'm going to apply some eyeshadow
along my lower lashes
and I'm going to apply that desert color again
mixed with a bit of earth.
So, I'm just going to brush that onto my lower lashes
just to define it a little bit.
So, I'm going to apply my Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara
just along my top lashes and bottom lashes.
This next step is optional
but I'm actually going to go in with my eyelash curler
and curl both my natural lash and my false lashes together.
This extra step is just going to help lift my lashes up
but I wouldn't recommend doing this
if you plan on reusing your false eyelashes.
Finally, I'm going to move on to my lips.
Now, my lips are feeling quite hydrated
thanks to that awesome Dr. Lip Nipple Balm I applied before.
Today, I'll be using my NARS Isolabella Lip Pencil
and what I love about this is
that it's like a lipstick and a lip pencil in one.
So, it's great for a lazy day
if you don't want to apply lip liner and lipstick.
So, I'm just going to apply this all over my lips
and try not to smudge it as I'm talking to you guys.
Right, so now that I've got my natural makeup look on,
I'm going to move on and do my hair.
So, let's take out this mess.
It's quite flat and straight and a little bit boring.
So today, I'm actually going to show you guys
how I get my soft big curls.
Okay, so let's get started.
I've already plugged in my NuMe 5-in-1 Curler.
Now, this one is the larger barrel
which I think is 32 millimeters
and this is really cool actually
because I do a lot of hairstyling
and this is really handy to have
because it's got a couple of different attachments
and barrels that you can switch
and use for different sort of hairstyles that you want.
So, this is really handy.
Today, I'm using the bigger one
because I want a softer curl
and with this, it comes with a glove as well.
Let me find my glove.
Found it! It was on the floor.
Anyway, so this is like a heat-protectant glove
that you get with it.
If you guys are sort of new to using these clipless barrels,
I suggest you wear a glove
because you can burn yourself
because it is quite hot and it's really hot now.
I can feel it.
Before I start curling my hair,
I need to apply a heat-protectant serum or spray
because my ends are really, really dry
because I did have a balayage before
which meant that my ends were bleached
and they feel like hay.
So what I like to use is this Argan Oil again from NuMe
and I like to sort of just pop some in the palm of my hands.
So I'm just going to spread that around my palms
and then work it to the ends of my hair.
This is like an anti-frizz serum
and a heat-protectant in one
so it's really, really good
and it makes your hair look really shiny and alive
especially if you have colored hair
or pretty damaged hair.
Next, I'm going to just section off half my hair
and I'm just going to clip that up away from everything.
Then I'm just going to sort of section into two
and pull it to the side.
Pretty simple, right?
Now, I'm going to get my glove on.
It's like a surgeon.
When I start curling, I like to grab small sections,
about one-inch sections
and what I do is I always point my barrel downwards
and I wrap my hair around the barrel.
And with this one, I like to wrap it away from my face
and I just hold it there for about 20-25 seconds
or until I can sort of feel the heat transfer into my glove.
So it's pretty hot.
So I think that's enough.
Let that go and I'm not going to touch that curl.
I'm just going to let it cool, okay?
So that's really important.
I'm just going to let it cool
and I'm going to do the rest of my hair.
For any of you guys wanting to purchase anything from NuMe,
I have a very special discount code for you guys.
It's just MAKEUPBYTINA
and you insert that at the checkout
to get 40% off their entire website
and also $12 shipping to Australia.
So yay, they're looking after us Aussies.
Also, if you use the code CHIC,
you'll get $100 off any set.
Yes, $100 off any set.
This is like a crazy discount code.
If any of you guys miss out,
I'll leave the details in the caption box below
so you can refer back to at any time.
Now that I'm done with this bottom section,
I'm going to sort of let the rest of my hair down
and curl it the same way.
What I really like about the curls that I get from this wand
is that I can sleep on it
and the next day, it'll still look really nice.
Again, because it's a very nice soft sort of look
and the curls are big and loose.
So this is my daytime look.
I hope you guys like the makeup and hair.
