(Bundesliga 2024/2025): Highlights Bayern München - Leverkusen

I'm actually sitting pretty deep, building those five-back defensive role. Just a few metres away from the Gästeblock. The Leverkusen fans, Grimaldo with it, might be able to keep this alive. Andrich, that low shot! Oh my goodness, what a finish from Robert Andrich to give Leverkusen the lead. The first chance here at the Allianz Arena. And Andrich has buried it. Bayern have got to pick themselves up. The defending champions lead here against the record. Trying to unlock the Leverkusen defence. Pavlovic, Guerreiro, Mosiah, Kimmich, Olise, angling it in. Dabsoba with the header. It's Pavlovic! Oh, that's stunning. That's incredible from the youngster, Alex Pavlovic. Well, we thought this might be a fest of other goals. We've seen two belters already. Radetzky beaten. Bayern are level. Yeah, and this Pavlovic goal was even more of a beauty than the one of Andrich, of course. In kind of Andrich fashion, though, Dabsoba clears the ball directly to Pavlovic. Joshua Kimmich, takes a bigger pass. Olise, Kane, over there on the right. Here's Gnabry, and oh, it didn't go in to begin with, but it's off the frame of the goal again. Yeah, what a chance that was for Serge Gnabry. He shows exactly where he wants that ball. He gets it there, beautifully put from Harry Kane, and then hits the goalpost with his left foot, and the rebound he hits against the crossbar. What a chance for Bayern, what a chance for Serge Gnabry. Across the post, and then the crossbar. Kimmich for Bayern, Upamecano for the header, it was a strong header as well, and it dropped for Olise. Pavlovic, responsible for the equaliser earlier, there's Adli, and that's not defending, but it's worked its way here to Alphonso Davies, and now Kingsley Coman, and here's Joshua Kimmich! It wasn't all that far away. It would, of course, be a very decisive thing if one of the teams could get away with a score now. Dorian Wiertz and Nathan Teller, and it wasn't quite convincing enough. Alphonso Davies, Kimmich, Leimer! We held our breath. Davies for the Rekordmeister, and there goes the final whistle. This clash of heavyweights comes to an end.
