Michael Jordan at Darlington Raceway.
It was, I mean, I know it feels like it would be sick and trying to perform.
And just to do what he did, I mean, I wasn't going around 200 miles an hour in
the car, but I'm proud of his effort and we needed it.
We won by one point.
So I mean, he gutted it out.
So hopefully he feels better tomorrow and feel better next week.
This organization is still relatively new.
You guys came out, you guys beat some big dogs in the regular season championship.
What's that say about your organization being able to do this as quickly?
We're coming, we're coming.
I mean, yeah, we got the right team.
These guys, they bust their ass all season.
You know, Bubba, he fought all day, he fought all night and
he got caught up in the wreck.
And even though the 14 won, it would have been tough for
us to actually point our way in, so we would have had to win.
But he put it on poll yesterday.
He's put up a great effort.
So I mean, I'm proud of the team.
I'm proud of what Denny's done thus far.
And we just gotta keep striving.
I mean, believe me, I'm not satisfied by no means.
I mean, he still has a chance to win the championship at the end of the season.
And that's what we're gonna strive for.
And with Bubba, he's just gotta keep getting better.
He's gonna use these next races to try to get a win and do the best that he can.
But we can't stay complacent.
We gotta keep getting better.
You said on TV you were terrified.
How are you now?
I'm still disappointed.
Obviously, I'm disappointed we didn't get both cards in.
I mean, like I said, Bubba did a great job in qualifying and
trying to get himself in.
But that disappointment makes me a little bit happy to see Redick fight himself
to a championship.
So I mean, I'm kinda halfway feeling better and halfway feeling sad.
But look, we are blessed as a team, and we're gonna keep getting better.
I'm gonna stress that from my perspective.
And I know Denny's gonna do the exact same thing.
Thank you.
Appreciate it.
